I have a question... to any and all natural witches (or druids or .....whereever you get your ..... "gifts" from?)

Sunday...April 22nd.. all day me and my mother kept experiancing... deja vu... and the best way to describe it would be.. Power surges.....
I have precognition.. and its finicky at best.. lol.. except for on days like today..
where it was like at least once an hour BAM I knew what would happen and I'd call it out.. and sure enough it'd happen

my mother.... she can locate objects people etc...among other things... but it seemed left and right... she'd be finding things we couldn't find for months!

My question...
Has anybody else had days like this?
where it was like "whoa... did this before...." or just like I said power surges where if you wanted to do whatever with your gift you probably could?

yes i do and its normally on my b-day dec. 9th
my powers go totally hay wire and ghosts crowd me

hmm.. for some reason my gifts act up a little on my birthday.... but not like this....

Anything going on..... that would influence these power surges does anybody know?

Actually, those days have been growing more and more frequent with me lately. Its been hard, because I know where it is going.

Personally I have found that the air tends to crackle around halloween. I know that it's supposed to be when our realm and the spirit realm are closest to gether.

I find it invigorating.

Not sure why people get heighten energies at their birthday. Maybe you birthdays falls on an important ceremony.

I don't mind too much the power surges except for when they're really strong... like now... they're almost to the point I feel like I'm about to have a panic attack but I know I'm not....
I'm just that pumped I guess? lol

I have days like that at least once a week. Sometimes it is subtle,and other times it is very powerful. There doesn't seen ti be a pattern.

There will be days like that. Once you know it is "one of those days," you can get a lot done. This does not have to do with being a Natural witch however.

There are many people who have similar abilities that I would not call "natural witches" per se.

The answer I have for power surges? I believe that our abilities can fluctuate with the cycles we are accostumed to. This is especially true of women as we are naturally attuned to the ebb and flow of our monthly cycles.

Yes it doeas happen, but like Billy stated, dont need to be a "natural" witch for that to happen, and yes when it happen its pretty wild, but still interesting

I'm not a natural witch or even practice any kind of magic at all, but I've had days like that as well. Not sure why it happens. Might have someting to do with the alignment of things in the cosmos, whether it's the planets, energy, natural balance, etc. And it's different for everyone depending on the exact date, place and time of birth. Just a guess on my part.

Yes I have. Some times it has to do with planet alinment or some times it's more personal than that. Or some tyimes it happens for no reason at all.

Yeah they aren't all that fun. Precog that is but yeah get those days all the time.

oh yes i have had a couple of days when everything started to go good and then i go a sick feeling and stuff went bad and i kept finding pictures of places that i thought i have never been to but im in the picture so idk what to think of it other then its wierd

I have the same problem every time there is a full moon. I experience greater power flows then usual.

I usually cast my most potent spells during this time, but when I don't cast atall over a full moon, my powers are absorbed by my various crystals that i surround myself with.

Yes this has happened to me.. But not alot. When it does I never notice the day or time or events around me.. I just let it happen. TO me, for me.. there is a reason and I do not question what has been gifted to me, only to help others when i am able to.

sometimes i have days when no matter how hard i try to " block" my gift i cant do it and i end up driving myself insane ... the other day i was talking to a friend on the fone who lives in nz i am from the uk and i couldnt help my self blurting out.. will you tell the lady dressed in lilac on your left hand side to quit interupting by the way your itching your wrist cos she keeps tickling it to get your attention .. my friend nearly dropped the fone .. on her left hand side was a pic of her late gran dressed in lilac and tickling her wrist was her nans way of getting her attention when she was a child .. i often have de ja vu , i dream things that will happen weeks in advance and have been known to predict things like pregnancy right through to how much the baby will weigh, the sex, hair color and be right even before the person knows they are pregnant.. my friends think im freaky .. i think im normal lol

Quite frequently I experince this, what is known as de ja vu. Most people experiance it in some form or another. It is acctually quite common, and I think it has a scientific explanation that I do not know.

As many have said, we all have things that come and go. Some are stronger then others. These talents could be set up by, stress, the moon, the presence of someone (from loving them ect..), or its just that time of the week. The triggers differ (even each time in many cases).

If you want it find the trigger for you talent and see if you can get it to trigger by replicating it (though do not over do it, you very well might harm yourself).

If not then find it and try to not do it. Unless it is something out of your control.


Remember many people do have these talents some might not know when there active. Others notice and might not know what to do.


Myself I have no idea what triggers some of the things I can do sometimes. If I could harness something I would be much better off I think. Otherwise I just go for the ride.

well from living in the same household as you GA it could be a number of things , anxiety, stress.. the weather there.. moon phase . like said above try and find what triggers it and work on that

Thanks GD.. but oddly enough when you lived in the house I never once had a surge... *....smirks slightly......* despite certain things.... Stress isn't a trigger..
and let me tell you .. today.. (well yesterday at this point) was compleatly exausting!!!

when ever i am near a lay line i get that feeling and some times after i wake up in the morning i know i have dreamed some of the things that are happening but i usualy only remember after its started to happen or after it has

I personally wouldn't dig any farther than what is already there. Deja vu (not sure how to spell that).. it is something we all experience..I suppose that some do more than others. I suppose that if it were something constant and on-going in my life, I would try to explore more about it...but you didn't state that as being the case.

Power surges are a natural occurance... everyone gets them. The key is that you have wandered into a place of power focus (some say laylines). Laylines is a misnomer. Certainly there are lines of power but they are not fixed...but free flowing instead... alot like the ripples that you see in a sand bar after a surge or rain. The answers that you are looking for are right in front of you/all around you: it is in nature (or the perversion of it). The key is interpretation. It is some thing that can not be taught out of a book. It is something that should not be taught by another.... but only lead to situations that the learner has oppourtunity to learn for them selves. Natural magic is NOT only for certain individuals... everyone has the ability..... the difference is that those who are practitioners have taken the time to sit down and listen to what nature has to say to them.

I have had these"surges" as you stated.While I think some witches are born with these gifts, others I believe can be taught to harness what is the natural energies about us.
My Mum too was gifted and had great past life regression gifts and some future telling abilities. I on the other hand, am just yer friendly neighborhood vampire*grins*I have some past life regression abilities but, it seems to be stronger when I am around certain people.

yes i have had days like that as well, but i personally think that it has a lot to do with the universe and the alignment of the stars. that can throw anyone off.

This kind of thing happens more and more to me; at least once a week now. I really wish I could decipher it better. It almost seems as if it's pointing me somewhere or confirming something.

I think this is the same concept as a reacurring fream. Like it trys to tell you something. If you don't get it it will keep repeating itself.

I scanned through some of the replies and stuff...and yeah it doesn't have anything to do w/being a natural witch...i know that some of my wiccan friends and i we experience that when it is our moon time and everything...and for me...on our major holiday's things like that happen...i like the feeling though....makes me feel like i'm finally in control of my life....on those days everything is possible....to a certain extent of course

Even if one is a “natural witch” I think that these days are just part of living. As Billy said we all have some days that are better than others.

However with that said, I do think that one can train themselves into having more “on” days than “off” days. There is a reason it is called a craft. It requires practise and use to maintain and fully control the abilities. I like the old saying, “Use it or loose it.”

I didn't know I was a witch until I got to college at which point my supressed/repressed abilities starting showing more frequently. Recently I've had a "power up" and my gifts have been going haywire, but before this i'd get "power surges" randomly, only once did i notice it on the full or new moon, and last time it was on the new moon (not this last one). Nothing ever happened on my birthday. Maybe some are just following different flows and cycles.

I find that gifts are like emotions or a symphony, it's a light sparce day or movement without much happening, then it's agressive, or it builds to a peak and releases. It's a natural 'biology' of magic or energy, how ever you'd like to phrase it.

I'm not sure that I can be considered a Natural witch, but I do have much better luck with spells and energy/natural abilities that i 'feel' than i do with potions or most prestructured spells. Largly noticable fluctuations most often occur with natural witches. Sometimes it means your gifts/powers are growing, sometimes its just an allignment or anomaly, little eddies. I've never known them to be dangerous so enjoy and savor those day and don'g forget what they teach you!

I did not have time to read the entire thread so if I am repeating what others have said I am sorry. As for the 22nd, it was an interesting day, and such days will become more frequent but not entirely predictable all this summer. It is related to the taurid meteor stream and its up coming intersection with earths orbit this june. All I can say is pay attention and keep a tight rein on yourself when these days come.

As a natural witch/warlock/magick user, I have found that others who have not been born into the craft have experienced similar things to me.

I was 8 when i first started to realise my gifts, but as none of my family did any magick, i was forced to learn on my own and turned to religion for answers, when i found none i turned to anti-religion.

I have known many others who have experienced various thing as i have and they have been self taught and learnt from books.

When I was 13 i met my mentor who taught me how to control my gifts and helped me to understand my gifts up to the age of 16, from then i branched out on my own and fro the last 16 years have learnt many things.

GA you have wanted for a long time to enhance your abilities .. I would suggest trying some focus tactics for you can concentrate, do some studying as well... check out the local area shops.. Im not sure if they would be like the ones you were used to out here , if you'd like me to I can check out the shops downtown and get back with you ..

I believe that I am a natural "Witch." The Craft has come easily to me. I am also the oddball in the family, and I am really pleased with that! I was told that I was reincarnated from a powerful Priestess, and this does seem feasible to me.

I do experience deja vu a lot of the time GA, but I never conciously know things a head of time. I beleive I have stated in other threads related to this topic that I dream about things that will happen, but I can't predict when they will happen.

I know I can tell when something is going to happen. Not what it is, or how major it will be to me. My body gets tense and my lower back has a slight pain. Plus I keep having that something up feeling ll the time. Yes it happing right now, so I know something up but I do not know what.

I know I can do other things but this is one that seems to happen alot.

I'm not a witch exactly, but I do feel this heightened energy occasionally. Rarely on my birthday - in fact, I often feel a significant drop in my energies on my birthday. To me this happens a day or two before a show - I do theatre - and it's different from the adrenaline rush you get five minutes before the show (which lately has been making me feel sick, but I may have just been a little sick for the last show). There's definitely an increased confidence and sudden calmness that comes with this new energy - as opposed to the craziness I would expect.

I GET DEJAVU ALL THE TIME, MINE COME FROM MY DREAMS AND THEN THEY HAPPEN ONE DAY AND THATS IT, i THINK OF MINE AS A LIFE TRACKER IT LETS ME KNOW I'M ON THE RIGHT PATH IN MY LIFE.

I have had crazy days where I seem to make huge leaps of logic and know what happened. It is especially strong with my daughter. I don't try to explain it. I just accept it.

i have quite a few days like this but i live on a leyline crossroad so it is to be expected especially with the pririts who are always comming and going around here it can get a little like kings cross station to say the least lol generally the most potent of days is also as many others have said my birthday(july 4th). things get really freaky then lol

Deja vu can be attributed to selective memory banks used from a dream state.

This happens to me very regularly; I will be driving somewhere I have never been or arriving at some venue I've never visited and I have the sense that "I've been here before"...

A landscape will seem familiar, the way a road turns and weaves through the trees...

If you've had a dream that is similar to your current concscious surroundings, it's very easy for the brain to "piece things together" and that creates a false memory - a.k.a. Deja Vu.

I am not overly strong in this sense, but I do have my moments and periods of strong de javu (sorry can't remember how to spell it) I have moments where out of the blue I get images of people suddenly appearing in my vision and they are people alive not dead. However no one is around at the time.

I do understand these surges you have, and I haven't really taken the time to pin point them or take much notice other than the head swimming and wow... lol

power surges are a natural phenomena - but not everyone can feel them. i get deja-vu a lot, and i have heard a scientific explanation which makes a great deal of sense. we do not actually experience reality as it happens - we only remember it. everything we experience is registered in short term memory, which after a few minutes is shunted into long term memory (short term memory is limited to around 20 minutes). sometimes the brain short circuits - a bit like a form of epilepsy - and the messages that relay experience go through long term memory a fraction of a second before going into short term memory. this means that you remember something happening from a long time in the past a fraction of a second before you actually experience it.

however, this does not explain how someone can recall or know something that is going to happen several minutes or hours before it actually does, or know what is happening outside the range of their normal senses.

i believe some people are natural witches. today we think of a witch as anyone who follows a Pagan religion - but back in Pagan times, a witch was a shaman, priest, or priestess, or someone with special abilities. some of us are quite naturally born different, and can never be "normal". my advice is embrace it, accept it, admit to your true nature. those who try to ignore it and deny it lead unhappy lives and are generally screwed up by it.

every person experince this at some point it hasnt got anything to do with wat belief u belong to or wat culture u belong to i believe it is one of our many senses that we have not opened up fully

I wanted to add that these types of days seem to occur for me right before a major life change, or something that will have a large impact on my life.

While mild in execution at times, it does typically leave me more prepared for what is about to happen.

The whole "deja vu" thing hits me pretty frequently. Some times its fairly spread out, weeks or months at a time, but there are times when I get a surge of it. Most of the time the surges happen around the full moon.

Power surges are natural as many have stated. For me...stress and worry tend to make those few and far between. When things are going well in my world....then I have more power days and get much done.

I realize what is affecting my power but I also admit that I have yet to conquer/master a way around it for long periods of time. It leaves me with the GRRRRRRR feeling.

Everyone will have had a strange day that their powers go hay wire at some point. I'm not of the fortunetelling breed, but I do have moments in time that I do experience some more deja vu's.

oh man, I love those days, I get so much stuff done during those times. All the stuff I couldn't find before, found. It's great. I wish i could have one soon, I've been looking for my sparring gloves for a while now...

I have had many days like that and sometimes I really do get a kick out of it. One belief is that before we are born to this world we make a blue print of the life we want to lead and learn from most of this is forgotten by our conscience mind as we age but every now and then you get a de ja vu and according to this belief it is a check point of sorts to let you know that you are on the path that you had laid out for your self before you came here.

For whatever reason(s), I do have times that I am more in tune with my surroundings. That in itself allows me to be more "open" to more in-depth empathic abilities. During those times, I'm VERY sensitive to other people and their emotions, much more so than usual.

I've never been able to discern any pattern to this. I do, however, get a LOT done on these days. It's like not only my "senses" but also my entire being experiences heightened energy levels. That amped-up energy allows me to accomplish tons of both physical and mental tasks.

I tend to get alot of of deju va's...sometimes there little things, sometimes they scare the hell out of me...like once i had one & it was of my friend getting into a car...i'd never seen the caar before, but about 2 dys later she told me that her cousin passed her driving test & got a new car...she was going for a test drive...i told her about my deju...and she was like really...i told her the colour of the car & what would happen....when her cousin arrived to collect...the car was blue...which was the colour i saw...she decided not to go...about 2hours later she got a phone call saying her cousin was in a car accident & that she was in hospital...he had afew bumps & brusies but nothing serious!! When i heard that i was as sick as a dog...i couldnt believe it!!! it is scary sometimes but can also be rather nice too!!

I've always had days where it was like i saw this happen..Nothing important just normal everyday things..Its kinda weird..

The only power I can claim is that I can see ghosts! only when I want to due to me blocking myself... I'm what people may call a human quiji board... they follow me so I have to block them to keep them from talking to me so I dont look like a crazy person

I have Thought surge's, mostly at night, if it happens in the day usualy it is someone or something trying to connect with me, for most part my premenitions are on the spot...
I have alway's been aware of this it wasnt as promenant as a child as it is now and growing by the Day... i am still learning..to channel.

yes, i have days like those. i find it wors best if you try to clear your mind and just let it flow.

I also believe that having da javu means that you are where your supposed to be doing what your supposed to be doing

Yes, and at the oddest times, like with a book I know i've never read before, or a show that's never been aired before. And back when I had roomates my friend keira was always freaked out how I always knew where everyones stuff was in the house, and with it being filled with stoners, came very much in handy.

I get a lot of deja vus through my dreams, now I'm going to keep a dream diary to record them.

I've been able to minipulate weather an awful lot when i was a teenager, but i stopped a few years ago when i almost caused a tornado near where i lived. i mainly work on "dream deja vu"

A dream diary sounds a good idea. Don't you just hate it when you cannot re-enter a dream when you want too?

yeah I was all ready to make my first entry in my dream diary last night but I never went to sleep! darn lol

i have plenty of days like that all you can really do is be grateful for them because it normally means something more is going to happen and the things you find you are probably going to need

Hmmm De ja vu. I love it. Really, well most of the time. Sometimes, especially when I was younger, it would get so bad I'd call it Ve ja du because it would seem as though I'd experienced the same thin several times before instead of just once or twice. I guess that's why I won't deny my being a seer.

I've been thinking since my last post in this thread. I do believe I am a natural witch, no vats of toxic waste, no freaky accidents (other than being born dead), never struck by lightening, well ok one freaky accident sorta, I was bit on the neck by a bat when i was 2 (in my medical records), but it was just a house bat. Nope, can't think of a single reason why I'm not a natural witch.

I'm not offering proof either, I find that once one has the proof they should try to disprove it, if they cannot then the proof is true. Spazztic powers/energies... mmm wish one of those days would come around again. piece.

It does happen to me but not as a pattern or on my bday. But when it does it is as a reminder that something is going to happend and need my help or to pull my ear that i am not paying attention to the craft.

My gifts came from both parents, and my tribal families.

Yes- I've had that happen to me often. I have pre cognitive dreams. Sometimes I'm right on, and sometimes I'm just off. Sometimes I can pick up the thoughts of others- other times I can't. It's frustrating to not really be able to control it- but I supposed if I was meant to, then I'd be able to, I'm just taking it as it comes. But when it does, it does freak me out

I heard an interesting theory that people get surges and vast amounts of Deja vu near to or on Saints days. April 23rd is St. Georges day

My "gifts" come in waves...days, weeks they are strong and then not so much. But I almost always can "read" a person. Where they came from not sure.

I get powersurges all the time. it doesn't have to be a special day or time of the year. Sometimes it's just because I'm in a good mood so my energy level rises. It's a really cool feeling. Also De ja vu really happens alot to me... If you find it happening alot to you you should start a dream journal and write down what you dream. You may have psychic powers via dreams. ^_^ I've found somethings I dreamed come true on more occasions than one. It's really interesting to see what your mind is capable of.

I was going to try to write my dreams down in a dream diary, but i kept forgeting to write them down..lol so dream diarys are only good for people who thinks about writing their dreams down in them...

I tried to record a dream diary, but every morning I'd completely forget what the dream was about, or only have the vaguest recollection

yes Ive had it when I was with my friend kate. everything we did for that day was like "kate cant find my ciggys"

Well, if you are a witch, there is a dream recall spell you can do. It's really quite simple.

Well there are a lot of dream recall spells, the only problem is that most of them encourge a second watching of the dream, while you're sleeping... your chances of remembering a lot more of the dream are slim if you could barely remember the dream to begin with. Though if you've found one that really works well, please do share.

I think it has to do with how focused your personal energy is at any given time..

Hmmm well, did you check if any of the constellations were in alignment?

That might influence your powers.
