I've met so many people who don't believe in the supernatural! I do believe is there anyone out there who believe also? How else can anyone explain seeing something other can not? Or uncontrolable lust for blood? Or even waking up and not knowing where you've been?

my life is supernatural central. how can i not believe in it? but i understand what you mean. people think i'm crazy for coversing with things people can't see (i.e. spirits, ghost, and other invisibles)

I believe also even though I have not had any personal experience with it I know many who have and i do believe them .

i have always believed in the supernatural all my life i have seen things and live in a house that has ghosts recently things have been happening since my father passed in my house to make me believe he is with me. I actionly talked to him yesterday through my ouja board which was a pretty amazing thing.

i also have had conversations through ouji boards. though, i did it when i was 12 and it scared the $h!t out of me.

There Must be something there otherwise there would not be as many "myths & legends" concerning the "Supernatural", nor would there be as many reported sightings of "supernatural" phenomona. I am a believer for those reasons.

I would have to say that I do believe in supernatural phenomena. Anything that has no formal natural scientific definition should be grouped into this category until it can be defined. Until then, it's more than natural - or supernatural.

Yes, I can honestly say I believe in the supernatural. I think it's a far wider subject than many people realise, so those that say they don't believe may actually believe in something they don't think is supernatural

I'm a skeptic, but it's all a very good read, be it the horrors or the myths or the fairy stories.

I am a true blue believer in all things unexplainable. I like the fact that there are still mysteries out there.

I don't believe that anything is "super"-natural... There is an explanation for everything... even if we don't have it yet...

I always go back to the old axiom - any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic.

I have always believed in the supernatural, for how could one explain all the glimpses from ones eye, or the cold feelings when one enters a room, there is more than science has explained to the world.

i definately do believe in the supernatural. i have never had any personal experience though. there has always been a part of me that has had interest in supernatural, and maybe it sounds funny, but for as long as i can remember something deep inside of me almost hears a calling of some sort. from who, or where, i do not know. i just know there is some kind of other existance, and i would love to know how to tap into it. anybody have any ideas or thoughts i would love to hear about it.

i think that everyone does in there own way. Some people and curpress this gift for feeling that they should not see it, but one you do it hard to get it back.

If ghosts are real and as common as people here claim them to be, wouldn't they just be considered a natural occurence?

If god was the only thing that existed before he created everything, isn't he/she just the origin of nature and therefore, part of nature?

You could consider nuclear fusion as supernatural with the powers it has, but there's billions upon billions of stars our there that prove it just happens in nature...

I am skeptic and a cynic which is a bad combination for believing in anything. Now ghosts I believe in, I had two strange experiences with that. Other than that, if I haven't seen it, I just can't believe in it.

i personally believe in the supernatural and occult powers i don't see how one could not when it has always been a subject of interest throughout history with eye witnesses,i find that anything is possible to an open minded individual.

Okay. Seriously. I believe that Birra had an actual point here. The problem with our conception here is what we have been terming as "SuperNatural".

If we believe that Magick (a commonly held idea of the energy and life force in everything)is real. Then would it not be considered a "Natural" thing? Would it not be part of the natural order of the universe?

If Elves and Pixies and Demons are all part and share of this universe from its conception? Would they too not be considered "Natural?"

What we need to determine is what we consider "Un-Natural". To me this term represents most of our modern day technology. Even the very form and structers of cities, seems to be an Alien and Supernatural thing. But here they are.

So. really look at what you are calling "SuperNatural". Then ask yourself what makes it so. Because of some age old fear held by closed mind individuals? Or if that is not the case. See it for the Natural form of the universe that it is.

I personally believe in the supernatural 100% their are to many unexplained things going on in this world for the supernatural things to all be faked like a lot of people think, I have personally never seen to many weird things in my life, but i know people who have and they have no need to make things up...

I think some people are sceptical of it because they have not had any actual experience with it. yet as I said I know some whom have and I believe them yet , I also would like to be able to experience it as well.

I, too, believe in the supernatural, or at least I want to believe in it.

Since I am super-logical and very proof-oriented, I have a hard time taking things on faith or belief. I have to see it myself, and if I see it, I still have to understand it in order for me to accept it.

Until I can get some proof, I will be hopeful that the supernatural exists, I just have not seen a good example that "hooks me."

I'm not sure whether or not I believe in the "supernatural" because I've never experienced it firsthand. I have experienced odd sensations and feelings, but I'm just not 100% sure.

My mother didn't allow me to have a Ouija board as a child because she said they were evil, therefore, I've never used one myself.

I do believe in the power of Magick, but I believe that is using power from yourself or from nature, and doesn't, at least to me, fall into the "supernatural" category......

I was extremely skeptical of all the supernatural stuff until about 9 or 10. My parents used to tell me ghosts and things like that weren't real, but then I had one wake me up in the middle of the night, and since then I've been a believer.

oh I do believe in it. I pretty much deal with it everyday Im at work. there is too much stuff I've seen where I work to ignore.

I don't think everybody can feel it. I think people that a closed mind will never have an experience with it. which sucks for them because i find it exciting. well besides the part where they drain your energy.

I most definately believe in the supernatural. However, I think it's important to remain sceptical until proof is shown. By proof I don't necessarily mean the scientific kind but that sort of personal proof that varies from one individual to another.

I also think that the term "supernatural" is misleading. I don't believe that if the universe encompasses everything within it that anything occuring in it could be other than a natural part of the universe. I had much more on that but my post was becoming an essay so I am leaving it at this.

I believe in the supernatural, I have experiences and witnessed things you might call supernatural. some scary as hell and others that have helped me, though I'm not sure I could fully explain what supernatural is to you.

yes i do for all the thing around me made me a good believer. when i was little i made friends with a ghost and he kept me safe... in a way he still does.

Really, who are we to determine what is natural? If we didn't create it, how can we be sure?

I feel the term is too broad, and also misleading. It suggests that which we don't understand is strange and even unnatural...the kind of thinking that gets people into loads of trouble.

I do, however, believe that there is more. More to know, more to learn, more to see. Things that can't always be understood or explained, yet.

I believe in the supernatural completely. There can't be an explanation for everything, but not everything can get go unexplained.

Personally, I believe in the supernatural in a form differing from that normally associated with the term. Summarizing what I believe, the supernatural is the power of suggestion and unattributed dialectics of thought, stemming from complexities of our minds and the system of representation our minds impose on our environment. More simply, it is that which we cannot understand. Whether that which we classify as supernatural exists or not is another issue, which can only be judged for each instance of supernatural events. So, superstitions, pranic vampiring, and witchcraft practice is not illogical, independent of the material backing for each, as such practice does affect and effect things.

My family brought me up to have an open mind, and i do believ in the supernatural, there are things that science, faith etc can't explain in the world. Things that cant be explained. So yes i believe.

Let me first start off by saying that everyone has the potential to see a spirit. Maybe that will happen once just briefly or it could happen many times, but the thing to remember is that everyone can see them given the right factors.

Why only some people will see a ghost in a certain location can be explained in many ways but let me put it in simple real world terms that most people will understand. Let's pretend you and two friends are in the woods and you all have AM/FM radios with you. You are all standing side by side and each of you is trying to tune in a very weak signal from some small radio station. Your one friend has a great radio and they easily tune in the station clearly. Your other friend has an average model radio and they can get the signal briefly but it is filled with static. Your radio is the cheap model and you cannot get the station tuned in at all. Even though you are all standing next to each other and trying to tune in the same station you are getting three different results. Now picture each person as a "radio" that can "receive" the signals that a spirit is transmitting. One person may get the spirits signal string and they will see the spirit. The next person is not as tuned in and they may see something briefly but they may not be able to make out all the details. The third person cannot receive the spirit's signal at all and will not see anything. Hopefully this gives you an idea of how this tends to work. Each person is actually a receiver of the signals or energy that a spirit gives off. Sometimes the signal can be tuned in and other times in cannot.

I believe in the possibility of the supernatural. I have only seen it once first hand, a friend and I were given a light show after her mom passed.

I have never seen anything first hand but I do believe in the supernatural. Anything is possible.

It depends on how you define "supernatural". If it would be considered over and beyond what occurs in nature, then you'd have to believe in it because you're surrounded by it. If you mean "paranormal" .. yes, I believe.. and anyone who believes in any "higher power" would almost have to believe in paranormal events as well. Just my opinion ;)

I don't believe in the supernatural, I do believe in some of the things that are thought to be supernatural. To us a ghost or spirit might be considered so, though to another spirit it would be a normal thing. Many supernatural concepts are seen by people on VR as normal, and for them they are. From a cosmic perspective I believe all things are normal in a sense, science just has not yet been able to explain them.

Oh yes. Most definitly I believe in the supernatural. When you live on a mountain that is a Civil War relic (The entire mountain) you will see things. Odd things happen. If you don't believe, you will shortly.

Of course I believe in the supernatural. There are too may unexplainable events that happen not to believe. Plus I have had some personal experiences happen that have made me a believer.

Kiddies who don't, I think are just too scared. They want their world to be warm and safe. They want to know what is strictly possible. Where the supernatural world is all surprises. THere's no limit to the possibilities.

yes i do believe in the supernatural i can feel the presence of many ghosts and spirits and i have also seen a few, I know alot of people that do actually but there is even more that don't so we need to find some good way to let people know

personally I am unsure how someone can not believe. But I respect their right not to believe. I see spirits daily so its not really an option for me not to believe.

The one I find the hardest to understand is Christians. The ones that say nothing supernatural is real..... yet they will defend their belief in angels and demons for days. I do not get it but I suppose it works for them.

I have believed all my life. Ever since I was little I have seen ghosts.

I believe in it from personal expierence. I've seen shit like that for years they've even attacked me! I'm now stronger for it though and can vividly give accounts of it. Anyone who says otherwise is either in denial or just oblivious to the supernatural.

I believe that there are things out there that cannot be explained. I believe that you have to be really careful with what can't be explained because you don't know where it came from. Some things are just not meant to be messed with.

I wish I didn't believe in it. That would make things a lot simpler. Possibly. I guess I can't really say that. Maybe if I didn't believe in it, I'd have other, more complicated problems. Like having to deal with a jealous lover who isn't your significant other but is part of an "agreement" between three or four consenting adults.

Supernatural is a relative term. Relative to the time and circumstances you live in.

Many people today refer to ghosts as supernatural. However, in much of the past and in many cultures it is/was a foregone conclusion that the spirits of the departed were around us and could communicate.

If you could take a computer to 12th century England and show the village folk what we do on VR while playing Ramstein on your iPod, would they not have considered it to be "supernatural?"

Supernatural simply means what the mainstream culture either has no understanding of or chooses not to believe at a given time.

Not everything can be explained away no matter how hard we try there just are some things that have to be of some other force of nature, or something that we just do not understand yet.

The supernatural exists. I am always seeing intresting and unusual things when I least expect to. I have seen several spirits and I have even had the feeling that my father who passed away some years ago is always around. I can always tell when it is him because of the smell of his after shave. Also there have been countless times that lights that are not there to others around have appeared. There are so many unexplainable things that happen to me on a daily basis for me not to belive in the supernatural.

Well I do believe in some things that can be considered supernatural, such as ghosts and things of that nature but then again somethings I am not so sure I believe in.

I have seen to many unexplainable things in my life. Experienced to many weird things to not believe that there is some thing more powerful than us out there some where. But I have to idea what or whom that is.

I have had plenty of my own experiences to believe in the supernatural or unknown.
However, even if I never had experiences I would still have to agree that there has to be more out there than what we see.
There has to be other realms of the universe....we can seriously think so narrow minded.
I do know plenty of people who dont believe untill they have had an encounterof their own. Which is fine it takes all sorts of people. :)

I've seen a few things that can not be explained by being " normal " occurances.
A shadow that passes by or objects being moved when there are only two people in the room, and neither of us touching that particular object.

some peoplte think Iam crazy because I believe in the supernatural myself and never miss judge the signs around you

I believe in some aspects of the supernatural, but i find it difficult to believe in all elements. For example as someone who doesn't believe in God i don't really believe in religious miracles although i know that they fall into the realm of the supernatural.

I do believe in some kind of afterlife and that there are things outside our plane of reality.
