I personally have never seen big foot and I don't believe he exist's. What i am wondering is how many people think or do not think that he does and why.
Thats like asking if the Loc Ness Monster is at the bottom of the Loc...
id like to see what a true bigfoot looks like.. but ive only heard stories and big feet prints. fake maybe but who no's..
plz so your saying there saying this a fact that there is a real bigfoot..
I don't know about the real bigfoot, but my and my friend went camping and it rained pretty hard. My friend has really big feet, so he went tromping around in the mud for like an hour. We had people talking about it for weeks. I don't know if he's really or not, but some people get serious zealous over the smallest things.
no i am not saying that at all it is just some peole claim to have seen it but i wonder is it male or female
ok her is some stuff on the big foooooy..
click the link..bigfoot therory..
well i dont no but i can guess and say it could be .. true..
Who knows, it may just be Paul Bunyon trying to find Babe his blue ox. He has been seen around America especially in the Pacific NorthWest. Ever seen the movie Tall Tale? There you go.
that maybe a good topic Soulshroude.. something new any way..
Unfortunatly that bit of folklore has nothing to do with the paranormal.
i have a link here i say it could be a Paranormal
Paranormal
I was talking about the Paul Bunyon aspect of the post.
ok i understand please forgive me i guess i wasnt paying attention..
so do u have any thing about the bigfoot thingy..
I myself personally don't think this so called creature exists, it definetly would have been discovered already. The human race seems to like to poke our noses in every nook and cranny of this earth...if it was real someone would have already found him and we'd be watching a program on Discovery about how it lives its life in captivity or something of the sort.
thanks Soulshroude for the link i will be defenly looking into such things like this of the big foot.. ive never seen one but heard stuff on the news but it would be something to see on the discovery channel cause id watch it..
I do believe there is some kind of creature called big foot what he really is i have no clue. There have been sightings and also have been pictures even though they are not the best quality
People like to have something believe in or wonder about that is mysterious and out of the norm. Everyone likes a good story!
There has been and still are new creatures that have yet to be discovered , as well as some species that have not quite gone extinct from natures past. However, one such as , "Bigfoot", is in my opinion, a hoax.
I think it rather harmless to dream of myths such as, "Big Foot" but, someone told me once that there really was one and had been filmed. I wonder if this could be spoof..after all, if you can't have an imagination life would be a real drag at times :)
I think its a hoax, someone probably mistaken a bear or whatever for something else if you ask me, if they didnt just make the whole story up.
I personally don't believe in it either. As you just stated Rotten, I think also they just saw and bear other creature and mistook it for something else.
We have our local version of Bigfoot in the South. Fouke Monster
I messed up link in previous post. Sorry.
many things mother Earth has is still unknown, for many species of bugs and fish are still being found. As for bigfoot or any other myth there may be at some time a clue that will be found to give us mother earths secrets. Do i believe in them, yes, myths or legends came from someone or somewhere with some account of it. so Yes i do believe in them.
There are many creatures that have yet to be discovered. There are many places on earth that have yet to have human contact and have not been explored. Who's to say that Bigfoot isn't a step in the evolutionary chain? Possibly between Ape and Man?
I would imagine that some creatures certainly can exist without our scientific knowledge of them. Scientists find new species of animals all the time. Some new species are specific to a small habitat. I wouldn't think very large animal could escape detection, but then, there have been supposed sightings.
I can't say whether I personally believe it or not however there is evidence that points to something that can be concluded to bigfoot here is the info for those that are interested LINK
some scientist believe that if big foot is real then the n he is giganto pithacis (plz dont mind the spelling), the famly of ape the we evalved from
There are new species or supposed lost species that are discovered all the time. But something as large as Bigfoot or Nessie could not hide in the world we live in now. Tney make great tales, and there may have been a basis in fact at one time, but, no, I don't believe the still exist if they ever did at all.
ok but did the bigfoot theroy come from the warewolf theory or not?
plz - in the New World, most of the Bigfoot stories, especially in North America, stem from the Iroquois folk tales of the Stoney Giants of the Adirondacks. They were called Sasquatch. In South America, stories of giant human like monsters can be traced back to a species of Sloth. On the continent of Africa, the stories can be traced back to the primate that was already listed above (forgive me but I don't know the spelling either).
I think that there is a good possibity that sasquatch may exsist. The Fouke monster (a big foot) has been sited close to my home several times. Also ancient indian tribes describe a hairy man beast and that was way before hollywood had anything to do with the Big Foot debut.
If they exist, then why so low in number that they are myth? You would think that over the past 100 years there would have been more of them. And if there were not more of them, then they would probably be extinct
I live in the northwest where in Washington State there have been 422 reported sightings alone. I like to be open minded concerning these sightings and think that its a possibility. There is actually an organization that conducts research on BF called the BFRO. There are many compelling stories to support BF's existence.
i dont think so, although he could have been a gorrilla that grew a bit to big if he was real
I don't think it could be possible for a creature such as this to remain hiding with as populated as the world is today.
i very seriously doubt his existence, especoally after seeing how easily believeable big foot evidence can be faked.
in a tv series, penn and teller's bullshit, they produced a video of 'bigfoot' and it was amazing to see how quickly people believed it.
There are possibilities that Bigfoot exists. And there is some proof as to the fact he does.
there seems to be certain evidence to the existance of bigfoot but i personally dont believe in it
It is hard to say. I have watched t.v. shows about big foot. Some where saying that he was real and that they say him, got foot prints, or they got recordings of him. Other shows say he isn't real and that it is a bear.
We are still descovery new creatures today. This could be because of many reasons. We still have a great deal of this plant that has yet to be explored.
I believe that anything is possible when it comes to mother nature. What I find hard to believe is that these creatures have been seen so close to man that it is impossible to believe that we still dont know if they are true or not. I think it is all fake.
He is just a shy, rare creature, there are many out there still that we don't even know about yet, its just the stories get a little wild when ya see an ape walking.
I do not believe that Big Foot exists for one simple reason. I don’t think he could hide in this day and age. I think that there would be proof of his existence if he did exist. Sorry folks none of those videos are real. It will always be nice to have legends and stories but no real Big Foot.
It's amazing that we fancy ourselves the ultimate discoverers of the universe. I suppose if someone were to throw enough money at technical equipment, such as thermal imaging cameras, we might find something of a real clue. However, someone will be able to debunk it instantly, because it does not give a clear picture of the beast. It requires pounds and pounds of good evidence to support the existence of something - but only a single discrepency to disprove it.
I think there is a possibility that we have not found a nest or hovel yet, but I don't think it probable.
I think it is quite possible that such a creature did at least exist at some point. Weather it is still around today is another story. Similar creatures and their respective lore are spread all across the globe. We have Big Foot in America, The Yeti in Tibet, and the Yowie in Australia just to name a few. I believe that a creature that pops up in various forms throughout so many cultures must at least have some some basis in fact.
Just because we haven't captured one does not mean that it doesn't exist. The human race is still discovering new species in remote parts of the world. So, to think that we have discovered it all is simply arrogant. We still have much to find. Happy hunting.

i believe that anything is possible, just like aliens, noone has actually seen one,but there is a possibility that bigfoot and aliens do exist....thats my opinion though :D
My husband saw Bigfoot here on the edge of town. It is near Boggy Creek. I guess there is a reason they made that movie!
He said that he and several other guys were cruising around one late night. They were on the dirt road on the edge of town. They saw something in the ditch and thought it was a cow. We are in Oklahoma, after all. Just as they were coming up to it, almost stopped (to see what it was), it raised up from a hunched over position and raised it's arms up high in the air at them. It's head came up to the top of their truck and it was in a ditch about 3 feet deep. They hit the gas and took off! And that is their Bigfoot story.
In Southeastern Oklahoma there are areas that are known for Bigfoot sightings. In fact, there is a special on some channel that shows it often. I can't remember if it's TLC or a Discovery, or Travel channel. But it's about a Bigfoot town. It's actually by or in a State Park.
I think it is possible in a alternate universe or a parallel universe.
it could be possible that your husband did see bigfoot,or it could have been something totally different that bigfoot, you never know :)
Paul Bunyon and Babe the blue ox live in my neck of the Redwoods. Big Foot.... sure why not... lots of places to hide in the forest.
That's true, me, it could have been another Bigfoot type! =)
ah big foot :D
so much myth and legend
personally, i'm a skeptic.. and until he comes out of the forest and shakes my hand it'll be hard for me to believe for truth, but that's how i am about most things ;]
i think it would indeed be interesting if there was a race of 'bigfoots' (feet?)
it peeks the interest of the scientist in me
i enjoy watching video 'proof' of sightings
especially The Patterson-Gimlin film
sometimes it's almost like watching a b-movie ;]
The world is a huge place and man hasnt been to all parts of the world yet so yes I belive therre are more then 1 species of Wookie Yetti or big foot out there! but this is just my opion thats all.
i have never seen the real big foot nor the Loc Ness monster either..just on shows on tv..To me they are just myths until someone trully comes up with evidence to show otherwise.I have heard of other things like a headless apparation that was in a town i had lived in..this turned out to be kids with a sheet and paint..so til i see proof..I don't believe they exist.
There are myths of that type of creature in a lot of countries all over the world through out history. I do not believe nor disbelieve I have not seen enough evidence to confirm it either way. For a long time giant squid were believed to be a myth until a few years ago when they found one. I will grant you that a lot of sitings and evidence have been hoaxes, but that doesn't mean that all are hoaxes. Every so often a "new" creature or plant will be discovered so who knows for sure?
I'm not exactly sure if it does or doesnt exist, but there are creatures & other things that we have yet to discover. Look how long it took people to figure out that there are strange looking creatures at the bottom of the ocean. Or what about the wonders of the rainforest that can help people thats yet to be discovered? If you can believe in 1 thing like the paranormal & such, then why isnt it possible that big foot could really exist? If he does, who is to say that the species isnt very intelligent & knows how to avoid humans? Theres many questions you can ask & many possibilities out there. Theres so much about the world & everything it encompasses that we've yet to discover. So who really knows either way...
Im sorry I am a firm believer.. let me tell you a story. When my daughter was around 2 her father wanted to go hunting in the cascade mountains of washington. He was a bow hunter.. I did not care to do that but did enjoy spending the day in the mountains so I agreed to go. Raven and I stayed at camp playing in the dirt and watching squirrels as he headed off on his search. He was gone for quite awile then suddenly came rushing back. The color completely gone from his face.. and seemed panicked.. insisting that we leave. Whats wrong I kept asking as he literally threw everything into the car. Now mind you this is a man who always was composed and never feared of anything. He was very much a thrill seeker. When we finally arrived home he had calmed and began telling me how he was roaming through the woods in search of an elk. Something caught his attention in the trees and he stopped kneeling low to watch.. then out of the trees came a great creature covered in hair. Now anyone that bow hunts knows that you have to get resonable close to an object in order to hit it. He said the creature moved out of the trees and stopped staring at him. He said that it must have stood at least 7foot.. and was no human that he could tell.. Had human qualities but contained far too much hair to be a mere man. So thats when he ran and decided to leave. So there you go.. whats your thought now.. I am a believer.
I don't believe in Big foot, or any other similar creatures.
I do not believe in Big Foot.. I think it was just something that someone made up to scare others.. It is just one of those stupid Urban Legends..
A Camping Prank Gone out of control prevents me from
answering this question without having night terrors...
Until I see one No I don't believe in Big Foot.People that Do would have you believe though.
An urban legend that started before the cities were there interesting. Things that make you go hmmm.
I THINK IT'S FICTIONAL, THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS BIG FOOT , WHERE IS THE REAL PROOF, IT'S ALWAYS BEEN , I HEARD THIS, I HEARD THAT, BUT WHERE IS THE REAL PROOF?
I believe he exists. Just because theres no real pictures of him or any other proof doesn't mean he doesnt exist. I mean we're still finding new species of aquatic life in the oceans that we've never seen before or thought were extinct so why not bigfoot somewhere out in the world.
A lot of legends out there, but really after all this time and the growth of civilization shouldn't there have been more concrete proof by now? There is very little true wilderness left in the areas he is being reported.
I've never seen anyone provide any real proof of Bigfoot's existence to date. Nor has anyone provided hard evidence of even the Ogopogo in Lake Okanagan in BC, Canada or even Champ in Lake Champlain on the borders of New York and Vermont.
Until they find such concrete evidence of the existence of any of these creatures, be it bones, a dead body or photos and video of a close encounter, I personally will remain highly skeptical of it all. Yet the possibility of their existence is nonetheless fascinating. :)
Well I don't believe that big foot exists simply because I have never seen anything that would make me believe. Yes there are many stories of Big foot but I still don't believe that he is real.
I don't see why big foot could not be another rung in the evolutionary ladder.
I've never seen any proof of him or read any documentaries by scientists about him, so I don't believe it.
XxShadowSeekerxX -
Yet vampires you believe in? There is no proof to them either. -nod-
there isn't enough proof, so no. no pictures, or anything other than 'eye-witness' reports
I believe there is something to all the stories,,,Although they have not found any real proof...I haven't wreitten it off that they won't.
Nope, I don't believe in Big Foot. If he/she/it did exist, or does exist, maybe it's just an giant animal believed to be extinct now...that's obviously not. lol
I don't believe in Big foot either. I just think all the "facts" like the pictures and videos look fake. Who knows..
Why not believe in them? This is a vampire site and many say they are more then human. Who am I to say there is not such thing? What of the lost tribes that have been discover in the rain forests and new species that are found? That have existed for centuries. And damn it Nessie is too real!
I don't think big foot is in any shape of being real. I think it's just a figment of the imagination to make people think that this creature is walking around some where. Yet people may say they have have seen Big foot.....yet we have this imprint of an idea that is embedded in our minds of what this creature looks like and would believe we would see it just so we could get spooked and go on a man hunt to find it.
I have to say Im astonded.. here we are on a wonderful site in which you have to have an open mind to really be a part of. A site filled with people who have a wide range of beliefs.. expressions.. traditions.. and interests. Although very few of you find it remotely possible that this creature could possibly exist... those same people are firm believers in vampires.. werewolves.. and other mystical creatures. To other responses.. no we were not on drugs.. Well so be it.. I remain a believer in everything for anything is possible in this world.
Being that there is no conclusive evidence I tend to think the whole Bigfoot thing is purely myth.
Who says we aren't on drugs? I know I'm not, but I've seen some pretty firm believers in other off the wall stuff. Its a lot more plausible than some jackass turning into a wolf because it a full moon if you ask me.
Good call on putting the "and why?" part in the subject or this would end up a poll question.
I think that, aside from this really big funky hairy looking man I saw in Safeway the other day, Bigfoot does not exist.
But then..I'm a pretty firm believer in the "prove it" theory.
Which also may be why I don't believe in little green angry creatures from Mars, The Loch Ness monster, blood sucking immortals, werewolves, werebadgers, werechickens, werepigeons, faeries or fairies or whatever else you want to call them, flying pigs, merpeople, or the idea that Bill Clinton has a soul.
Answers to questions can be found most often by utilizing common sense, scientific explanation, and anti drug campaigns.
NEVER! NEVER I SAY!
I DO however believe in the power of sock puppets and the human response.
Thers plenty of proof how you think they got foot prints of the big foot please whos feet are those then shaqual o neils lol.....
Perhaps the most compelling photographic evidence of Bigfoot is a controversial short film shot by Roger Patterson in 1967, which appears to document a female Bigfoot striding along a riverbank in northern California.
(I saw this film as a child)
Chilcutt says one footprint found in 1987 in Walla Walla in Washington State has convinced him that Bigfoot is real.
"The ridge flow pattern and the texture was completely different from anything I've ever seen," he said. "It certainly wasn't human, and of no known primate that I've examined. The print ridges flowed lengthwise along the foot, unlike human prints, which flow across. The texture of the ridges was about twice the thickness of a human, which indicated that this animal has a real thick skin."
Meldrum, meanwhile, says a 400-pound (180-kilogram) block of plaster known as the Skookum Cast provides further evidence of Bigfoot's existence. The cast was made in September 2000 from an impression of a large animal that had apparently lain down on its side to retrieve some fruit next to a mud hole in the Gifford Pinchot National Forest in Washington State.
Meldrum says the cast contains recognizable impressions of a forearm, a thigh, buttocks, an Achilles tendon and heel. "It's 40 to 50 percent bigger than a normal human," he said. "The anatomy doesn't jive with any known animal."
All this information was taken from the National Geographic News..

Guy in a monkey costum. Probably one of the greatest hoax in our time.
other then the pictures and the sighting that peole have claimed to see, there really is n scientific ptoof that such a creatures does exsists. and I agree that if there was such proof it would have been on the discovery channel
