I want to know what everyone thinks about past lives-- and what if anything they remember about theirs-- I am open to all thoughts and comments--

I think past lives are real. My boyfriend and I were just talking about this a few nights ago. I was told once by a psychic that I was a witch in a past life that was killed by her husband. I practice the wiccan religion so I can believe it!

I believe in it somewhat.. Not sure what mine have been so maybe that is why I'm not totally sure.

That would be a possibility is the soul existed.

and if given the choice I have had a crappy life which I'm sure everyone has.. However i wouldn't change it for the person I have found I would not have any other way..

i do beleive in past lives. in mine i keep seeing my past life soulmate. through this life to the next.

well it may seem weird but i too am a beliver in past lives however... my memories seem at thoughits all one life just different time frames, as when i remember such then i look and act the same... more power and magical control in the past but basically the same.

I believe in past lives and I am trying to figure mine out. I know I have one, but only in bits and pieces... I know that I was young when I died and never had any children... but I dont know when or where... I have the book by Sylvia Brown about contacting your spirit guide and that book has been really helpful

i believe i once had a past life too, but i dont remember much. somtimes i get theses...old memories i have never seen befor.. like.. it happen in another life time..so yeah.. its awesome!

Though I believe in reincarnation as one of the cornerstones of existence itself, I unfortunately have no recollection of past lives in any way, though, I have a dream or two which could be a subconcious seepage, but, nothing with such clarity as to call it a regressive memory.

I have wondered whether expressions of art, of stories, might be a partial recollecting of emotional states and ways of being from the inherited genetic memory.

Yes, I think there is something to the past lives theory. Gneral George Patton himself believed that he had fought before in previous lives.

I believe in that we all have past lives. If in no other form than genetic memories. I would like to think our souls take vacations for a lifetime here on Earth.
I have vivid memories of life as a sailor on a tall ship on the ocean. I remember being keelhauled and surviving. This is the only vivid memories I have of past experiances.

I believe that past lives exist and that we all go thru trying to experience everything,once we have learned all we can in a lifetime we pass on to the next experience/life!

I have always believed in past lives. It is just not enough to die and that be the end. I am not sure how many I have had, but I do believe that I have had at least three. I don't remember much except a scene from this one: I think I am in France, around revolution, and I am dancing across the room, and this lovely man steps on my foot. He is in many of my dreams.

I also think that you can judges how many lives someone has had, in essence how "old" they are, by how mature they act. Ever told a child that he acts very maturely for his age. That is what I mean. He has probably had more lives than the children he is being compared to.

I don't believe in reincarnation. And I didn't believe in it in any of my past lives, either.

I not only believe in pasts lives, i also thinks that our past lives even rule some of the likes or dislikes, characteristics of our current life. I've always thought that in my past life was a bird or some winged being 'cause i often have dreams of flying and it's one of my most desired wishes

Past lives are very real. Memories however, are a lucky thing to have, and are a gift to the few that have them. I know I've had many through the course of millenia, but I have no memory of anything in any past life.

I can only assume they exist. Afterall in the end we are all energy, and energy never dies, it just takes on different forms.

I myself have many memories from times long ago.. as if multiple lives. I'm not so sure I believe in past lives as much as I'd say that we take detours in realities from time to time. Some memories are first person, some are 3rd person.

So it seems to me that we just continually exist from start through eternity. These 'lives' we have are just visits to a reality we place a time period on. Be them for fun or to experience something.

I remember all of my Past Lives...They pre-date this societies history by a long way...My Energy and Spirit have remained constant and never ending...Once One is completly Aware the whole concept makes sense...No Beginning and No End...Just Pure Energy with slight variations...

Past lives...Hmm..I know of two of mine..They are not very clear, but I see why I think some of the things that run through my mind..Mine come to me in dreams..Once I was a Queen...The second one was me but I was older with different features...I was pale and I was a mean bitch...I have not yet learned of my others...

I believe in past lives I was a wolf in one, and a cave man in another. I have feelings and a love of medieval weapons such as long swords and dragons too.

I believe that you can carry certain pieces from your past life as well, memories that doesn't make sense until you believe that you could have lived another life before. Then the memory becomes very clear and you can understand it more, and perhaps learn from those lives to.

But I was also raised christian, and I'm still trying to figure the truth of both my past, and how God fits into it, when a preacher tries to say it's nonsense and satanic. But when you feel it in your heart that you were different in the past, then it must be so. Regardless of who says differently, probably why I'm not in church now.

in Past Life regressions I have done with my hypnotist, i have gone through many life times It was great how when we referenced dates and places I mentioned while under
they were dates that even dated to the last battle and final conquest of the spaniards and the aztecs, very odd because the year and timing I had not studied to such detail ever. To give such accurate information. Also gave family and date names to a family who was prosecuted for witchcraft in northern europe, the dates I gave confused me because when I thought about it/it seemed late in the timeline...but when we rreferenced the date and family name it was on key...they were among the last chain of witch hunts done ...I recommend past life regressions to anyone they are really an adventure. And great for study if you tape them or if you have a note taker.

I do believe in past lives, and actually have quite a few memories from quite a few of mine. There are so many though that I dont want to go into them all. I will give one memory, I remember watching my parents die when I was around 12 or 13 I think and having to take my siblings (younger and twins) and take care of them. That is one memory.

I thoroughly believe in past lives.I've lived in many times.Ancient Egypt not once,but many times in many forms both human and animal.I've lived in medieval times and also Victorian and during the Salem Witch Trials .I know there are others exsisting,but the images and recollections haven't hit me just yet.

Like many here, I also believe in past lives. I do not have any substantial memories of any lives I may have had, but I do get bits and pieces that manifest themselves as dreams as well as sensations of familiarity in places I am seeing for the first time. Whether this could be recollections of a past life or lives, I cannot say.

I definately agree that there is past lives.
I remember quite a few of them. I remember old times of Egypt and how me and the people then lived for Osiris. I remember a few recent ones too such as my last one who was a 14 y.o. girl who killed herself after losing her mother at age 8 and being raped for 5 years by her father.

I know my original birth year and location.
I know some information on other past lives, mostly bits and pieces here and there at this time. I am still searching and researching to learn more.
I also know that in at least one of my past lives I have shared with people in my current life.

I personally think that we all have repressed memories that are more important to reach.

I stand quite undecided on past lives, although I am quite a sceptic on teh subject. I really think that you should learn from the mstakes you make now, and remember what you have frgotten, rather than try to find out what happened before you... thats why I keep a diary, to remember everything I can.

Probably but I think I'll do it the old fashioned way; through my dreams. The little clips I get in my sleep is enough and I think that if I had the whole thing I would fall off my proverbial rocker.

I believe that our soul has inhabited many different astral shells throughout time. Each one of our souls have been bounced around the astral realm throughout the known existence. The soul is essentialyl caught in a everlasting “wheel of death and rebirth”.

I agree with what Stabb said on personal expression. I believe many of our current interests are influenced by your past lives. For example; I have a interest in Egyptian folklore which I cannot explain. Many times I have experienced a form of deja vu when I read up on Egyptian lore. There will be instances where I am familiar with stuff that I have never read or heard about before. This goes the same for other interests I have such as Vampirism.

One might become obsessed with the acquisition of knowledge towards a certain subjects like vampirism. I believe that is due to the dormant knowledge that is normally suppressed within genetic make-up of the individual, also called the “physic inheritance”. This ancient knowledge pushes it way to the cognitive root of the individual, in doing so the individual has an overwhelming impulse to understand things they would normally overlook.

I deffinetly believe in past lives. There is no other way to explain the way I am, other than that I have taken on knowledge from my past lives. Since the age of 8 I have been able to win debates with many adults who claim to have studied the topic we are debating on. I feel that I was alive during the time of the english Civil war, my family joined a re-enactment society for it when I was a child, before we did I had a dream of a battle, and all of the people who were in my redgiment in the re-enactment society were there.

I truly believe that my fiance is my soul mate, we have both said many times that we feel as if we have known one another forever.

When I was born, I could not stand to be hugged, or held close, I would scream and scream. Growing up, I hated people being too close to me, I was always an outsider. It wasn't until I met my fiance when I was 17 that I acctualy started to like getting hugged. But mostly by him. I can cope with hugs from my family now. I have a feeling that in a past life we were together, and maybe he died, or was taken away from me, and I never loved or trusted another after that, so shut myself off, until this life, when we found each other again.

i defainitly believe in them i used to have these dreams as a child which i never understood. which was me falling off a boat and drowning under water ...... i had them a few times as a child. but a little while ago i had a past life regression which i found out that one of my lives was ....... a man who was a fisherman that fell over board ....got dragged into a cave and drown.
i'm still freaked about the idea of water and caves!!! i believe that we are all here to learn lessons in life!.

I definately am a firm believer in the reality of past lives and the ability to retain memories from them. I know that I have walked these realms in the past, and I continue to learn more and more about each journey. Though I have never had another involved in my regression, it is something I have thought of trying to assist me in my search. The soul is indeed immortal and is reincarnated over and over again throughout the coils of the universe.

Many are the forms of expression of past lives. Through talents of energy manipulation to Art, to memories ( being the most common) voices, movements and mannerisms.

Past lives have happened, and will continue to happen. Some people will never remember theirs, others will with vivid and strangely interesting results.

As for my views on past lives, well i think they are a reality we can never discredit! I have always thought that i must have done something wrong in my past lives! The hatred i have had thrown at me in this life is nothing short of deadly! My mind has suffered so many times that hell no longer scares me! I already live there! I guess the reason i cant remember anything is because i was sent back to try and correct what i have done wrong! But without the knowledge of my failures how can i correct my wrong doings?

I am of the opinion that seeing as we all have consiousness it must have individualy developed over an eternity. I know of no-one that can remember not existing. The complex abilities of the mind surely cannot have developed in each individual in the trivial amount of time suggested.

it may be a case of past thoughts of previous lives are handed down through hereditary / ancestors......

I went to a past life reader once, She was really good, No crystals balls or Gypsy clothes, You can find some of your odd hang ups can come from other life experiences. It interesting, I do belive most alll of us lives many lifes.

Reguardless if I believe in past lives or not I just want to be clear that I am open to the idea of it. I have had dreams with which I was a panther, and acutally felt the animal quality of a panther.. running in the mud, hunting prey. When I awoke I was breathless. I can definately say that I believe in past lives. I have a strong connection to the American Civil war, to the extent that I do reenactments with a Scottish Unit. There are times when we are going into battle for the public, and I just know that I have done this before. Everything always becomes reflexes.

I believe in past lives. I can't remember what or who I was, but a few things happened that gave me an idea. Like when I first time went to England. It was like coming home and while wandering around in London, it felt as if I have been there before. I also believe in Karma and that we pay for the things we did in the lifes before.
