when was your first encounter with a Vampire or any other super natural creature/spirit (mainly Vampires)...What happened, where did it happen? More than once?

my first occurrence with the supernatural happened while i was 7, I believe. I saw the spirit of my grandfather (who passed away while i was 3) It was rather odd, and interesting. We had a lovely conversation. he wanted to know how the family was doing and to send is love

I have had one encounter with the "Supernatural". Whether it was an Angel, the diety or some othe being i do not know. In any case I am still here among the living due to their intervention. How did it make me feel? Humble and unworthy...Especially in the circumstance of being saved from myself.

I have met numerous Vampires. I do not consider them "supernatural" in any way, just people like you and me who either consume blood or drain energy. The "Vampires" of myths and legends (Must shelter from sunlight, turn into wolves and bats or mist, don't reflect in mirrors) are just that ...Myths and legends.

When I was 5 I remember having the sensation of being chased by a male Vampire. However I was the only one who saw him.

My first verified account happend when I was around 13 and was with 2 of my cousins. It was night and we were sitting in the living room, within view of the kitchen. We were talking about general things when the 3 of us at once got chills down our spines. I looked into the kitchen and, as odd as this may sound, saw a pair of red eyes inside the microwave stairing back at us. I told my cousins and they both saw them also.

We left the living room and went into the masterbed room which was very well lit. Our shadows would move contrary to our actual movements this continued for several minutes then stopped. I continued to see those eyes for the duration of my life there.

Is it possible to call for a vampire, summon one? I'd love to really see one, feel one...I don't doubt their reality, I'd just loved to experience it!

It depends on what a vampire is. If you think a vampire is a supernatural being then I dont see why you could not summon it. However I believe vampires are human just with a few differences. In my case I think it was a demonic spirit preying on the fears of a young child.

The first supernatural being I ever saw was a ghost. I was 5 and remember the nice woman I met in the hallway at Church. I was talking to her when my mother came to get me. My mother never saw the woman.

I saw a couple of little girls that had drowned in a river near my aunt's home when I was about 2 years of age...I didn't know then that they were ghosts...my knowledge about their demise came later on in my life...so at the time I wasn't afarid...but I was creeped out when I found out who they were after...

As a child, I used to hear footsteps walking in the hallway overhead whenever I was down in the basement with my parents or looking for something. We were the only three people in the house when it started and everyone would always be accounted for.
One time that was especially eerie for me when I was young was an episode of footsteps and loud creaks proceeding down the length of the upstairs hallway and stopping at my room.
In time however the occurences stopped. Whatever it was in the house it was restricted to noise alone and a brief sighting of a figure in the dining room which flashed into view and dissapeared just as quickly. After that however, I never saw or heard it again.

As far as vampires go, if I've ever met one before I was never aware of it. ~smiles~

My supernatural experiences are experiences of my ex fiance, she died long ago trying to escape tyranny now from time to time she guides my actions, she has taken on the role of my conscience.

My first encounter with anything supernatural was when I was 11, I was attending the funeral of my grandfather, to feel his arms around me, hugging and comforting me.

I have been encountering what appear to be spirits and demons since I was a baby. For the most part I put it down to issues with my brain, but sometimes I wonder. As for vampires, I didn't meet one I actually believed til seven or so years ago:)

my encounters are just hearing the sounds that the spirits make in my house. I have friends that see and talk to them. I wish i was able to see and talk to them

My first experience with anything supernatural was a conversation I had with my brother.. I was about 5 and was in my room when a boy entered.. he sat down and began to play with me. I had to run to the bathroom and when I came back he was gone. I ran to my mother and asked her where my new friend had went and she said who. I began telling her of the boy and she pulled out the photo album as she flipped the pages I stopped her and said there he is. She began to cry and then explained that was my brother who went to heaven before I was born. Since have had many encounters.. my daughter has as well.

It happened when I was almost 11 years of age, it was unfortunatly a sort of waking dream...Which I think is what he wanted.

He was with me for about half an hour, sitting in a chair conversing with me, I will not let on what about, but throughout the years after and to this day, he and a few of his comrades, a couple of ladies as well, seem to love coming through the windows and keeping me company.

The ladies as I have mentioned, do have a way of kissing me from time to time. I always feel the pain. Regardless of the waking dream, or the reality.

Sometimes they do let me travel with them, but unfortunatly once again, it happends only in the waking dream. You may explain these waking dreams as the forces from them not letting me know if it is real or not, but it is all quite vivid I assure you.

I was younger, in my teen years. I was out clubbing one night and I came across a group of people. I THOUGHT they were vampires, but I coule be mistaken. I was in cali at the time, and they went off to a backroom of the club, I was not allowed to see past the door.

my first encounter was my own near death experience when i was 4/5
i was in a store and a shelf protrusion for the hanging of products whent into my left eye while i was running around immpatiently

i was arrested from my body at the moment i felt the pain and the blood
my body acted as it normaly would but i was floating up on the cieling of the store like an observer withdrawn from the event i remained as such until i was in the hospital then i passed out and cant recall the events until i awoke in my body again

i have never met a vampire, or seen one that was reaL but i have had several super natural incounters, my first one when i was 11 i communicated with my great grandfather he told me things i didnt know about for he died when i was 4 years old and he spoke polish to me for me to call my great grandmother on the phone to tell her things it was not like a conversation lol just briefly

my families tell me stories of my talking to Jeremy from before I was talking very well at all. My main spirit protector and guide's name is Jeremy and he has has he has been with me from the moment I was born. So I suppose that was the first time I met something supernatural.

as for vampires.. every time I look in the mirror lol assumeing you are not talking the live forever turn into bat kind

Let's see...I think my very first qualifying supernatural experience was seeing a kind of shadow man with a fedora hat.

First experience with a vampire? Probably that one time when I saw one robbing a bank, but it's okay, because I totally staked that fucker and all that was left was a .32 in a pile of dust.

An answer to your age question Trinity, it is always costumary to aquire the youth of the nation rather than manipulate an adult, it is easier to grab the children as they are inquisitive and more understanding then adults.

At the younger ages children are more suseptable to the ethereal and the unknown, wishing for more knowledge even if they do not know it. Never make an adult a Padawan, or grab an adult out of the Matrix...Their minds may not be able to handle certain conditions or environments.

I have had encounters pretty much since adolesence. I remember and old lady that used to visit me in my bed room, she's sit in her rocker and watch over me while I slept, I was scared at first but then found it comforting.

I can remember when I was one or two seeing people that weren't there.

I always see my dead great grandmother.
And I've been able to predict simple things.

Such as knowing when the phone would ring and who would be calling.

i was about twelve years old and sleeping,my mom woke up and saw me sitting up in my sleep laughing like i did when my great grandmother was alive.i than layed back down and slept the whole night soundly after that

i first incountered the supernatural when i was seven years old... i was visited by a female vampire who lead me out of my home at night, many times... my parents dismissed the activity as sleep walking, yet she still visits me to this day...

My first supernatural experience was an encounter with a ghost when I was a child. Well they were many encounters of an old man that had passed away in the house we lived in. It turned out he loved children so he played with me and my brother a lot.

well first i will never truely for get was when i worked in nursing home.. a shadow person... i drop a water pitcher and refuse to go in the room because just days before a patient died in there and before she died she mention a person who was dark in the corner ..

I was a little kid, playing in my basement. I don't remember all the details, but the rocking chair was moving, and I heard something strange in the room.It was like crying. The house was really old, and I believe the rocking chair was already there. Any way, this helped me to be more open to spirits. I have had numerous experiences since that time.

My first encounter with something supernatural was when I was about 5 maybe. It was when I moved into a new home and I felt very unsettled... During the years I lived there I encountered many other things I cannot explain... My sister remembers things as well...

I have never had an encounter with a vampire well except those on tv. I have had a few encounters with ghost when I was a kid but they seemed to peter off as I became an adult, guess my mind closed them out.

My best friend's grandmother had died and I was sitting with her in my room and the lights were off but there was a nightlight on and my best friend was crying because of her grandmother's death and then we heard a voice and my best friend told me that it was her grandmother's voice and then we both looked up and saw a lady in a long white dress and she sat down next to Keelz (my best friend) and her grandma hugged her and told her to stop crying and that she will always be with her in her heart and that she will be watching over her and from that day on her grandmother kept visiting her and me also, making sure that everything is okay.

The first time I can remember is after my step father died. I saw him watching me through a window in my house. I went outside and I could not see him anywhere. There was snow on the ground. When I looked at the spot I saw him there were boot prints in the snow. He always had boots on when he was alive. And the air smelled like him. I was about 8.

I've never met a true vampire, but when i was 7 I moved into my grandparents house and my great grandma would sit on my bed everynight and tell me stories and sing to me. And scince then spirits have a natural attraction to me, and my mom thinks I'm crazy.

my very first was an encounter with a friend that had passed by suicide, he was the main reason I am still here myself and did not do it myself.

i also agree with KC on vampires. my first experince with the supernatural was when i was 5. i seen a ghost of a small boy who died around 7 years ago in a house fire about 1mile from where i lived. the boy was about my age and he wanted to play. then i heard a womans voice call to him and he turn around and said im coming and he disapeared. diferent times in my life growing up i have seen him.
Then couple years ago i was very sick and i almost died from a infection but i remember an angel sitting next to me telling me that i will be ok and it wasnt my time to go...

My mom said I say Ghosts / Spirits since I was a baby . but The first one that I remember was when I was 4 years old when I saw this little boy at the park and he followed me home and he was every where I went . He was attached to me as they call it . I never mentioned it till I was 6 yrs old and my Grandmother told me I was only harming him buy letting him stay in our world instead of moving on . So that was when I also learned on how to send them to the light or in other words send them home to God .
But I still see Ghosts / Spirits all the time sometimes it's ok but it can be annoying .

My mom told me stories of how when I was a baby a ghost would watch over me. If anything went wrong he would wake my mom up and she would check on me. It wasnt the type of thing you would see in the movies where my mom could see him but she could sense his presense and know that I needed her.
As for the idea of vampires. I dont really believe that many people have had experiences along these lines. If there were as many real vampires as people who claim to be then wouldnt people fear them more and Hollywood get less credit for them. I am under the impression that a lot of people are faking or have brainwashed themselves into believing that they are a vampire when in fact it is just a lie.
Perhaps there are real vampires out there but I doubt that there are half as many as people claim. Mainly its just a hype to fit in.

Looking back at all the people who haven't had encounters just makes me believe more in the fact that vampires do not, have not, and will not exist.

i met a vamoire at a sf con.she had reall fangs and everything.i felt very tempted to let her bite me but i was very young at the time .

i have had alot of encounters, the most interesting one was when i walk through the house i can sometimes sense a spirit of some kind and then one day i walked very close to where i sensed it and then i could see the spirit in a sense, the spirit looked like a young girl about 19 or so with a white dress and long hair, every sense then i can sense when she's near even better and i get the feeling she's not human and never was, but i don't know who or what she exactly is.

When I was little I was very afraid of the dark. I remember it was Haloween night and I was asleep when I awoke to go to the bathroom. I think the power was out because I don't recall turning on the light in the bathroom. I do remember leaving the door open to provide any easy escape so that I could hide back under my bed covers and try to sleep. Anyways, as I was taking a piss I was looking out the window and I thought I saw a black figure with a billowy cape and a tall hat walk towards the window. I don't know if it was a vampire, but I ran like hell back to my room without flushing the toilet!

Unfortunately I haven't had a real encounter with a vampire. However I have encountered spirits. I had a visitation from one in my bedroom a long time ago when I was a child and I have seen the soul of my mother a few times.

I have never had any encounters with a Real Genuine Vampire, and I would like that very much, since my mind is attached to that idea.

The best what I can try at this point in my positon, is scanning the astral territories during a powerfull meditative seanse, hoping to encounter such a Vampiric spirit.

Since its a genetic thing with my relatives ...I have had a few vampires around me all my life....

Wow, I never realized how many others were out there like myself.. My first encounter was the sound of footsteps going up and down the hallway in our old farmhouse.. when all of the living were downstairs and accounted for. We later found a room over the garage that had been sealed off. it was full of "trash" from the early 1900's belonging to the spinster that had lived out her life there. Amazing way to learn about someone...

my friend once had what appeared to be a nervous breakdown...from where I was standing at the time i could see out to the front porch from the front door of the house and I could see a shadowy silhouette leaving the house through the screen door outside from the porch.

and i always like to say that supernatural vampires exist... and i don't know why that people tend to relate them with movies...
listen you guys, i have seen newspapers from england, dated before even existed TV and there it is described various attacks from vampires and werewolf's and that people really saw them... this is not fictional, and these type of beings do not chat in the internet nor socialize with us...

always remember this: our beliefs do not change a fact, if God our supernatural vampires exist, they do not need your belifs to continue existing... :x

I think my first encounter was with a psychic vampire in my dreams, quite a few years ago.

i have had many different encounters with ghosts i first seen one when i was 11 outside my window was a ghost carriage it freaked me out but since they seem to be drawn to me somehow i dont always see them but i do feel them and can talk to them also my nana died when i was about 10 and she visited me when i was 13 and has since been with me i believe she is my guardian angel i also can uselly tell by going into houses if they have ghost in them it doesnt always happen but sometimes i can just close my eyes and touch the wall and see stuff it is weird but it has happen alot. as to seeing a real vampire i havent been luckey enough to have yet i still hope to someday even though at times i have felt like a supernatural presence has visited me in my dreams that has made me believe it might of been one.

the first encounter I had I was in middle school... yes this happened more than once but I cheated she was a friend of mine.... A friend of mine is a vampire but also a witch.... she is interesting.... I met her back in elementary school... I thought she was wierd at first then i got to know her and she exposed me to wiccan... it wasn't until after we got into High school that she told me she was a vamp also... I see her as often as I can....

I have not encountered a vampire, to my knowledge. When I was 14, we moved into the house that my grandfather built, and where he died. Ever since then, I have seen his ghost on occasion, and heard various rapping and other noises in that house.

I was about 20 when I had my first encounter with the supernatural. A spirit passed through me and I felt it's energy.

I have encountered seeing a ghostly ...um...thing. It was a great grandpa who came to me and it was scary in a way.

When I was little I was attacked by a very powerful and somewhat well know demon. When I was in high school I believe one of my classmates was in fact a Vampire. He was very kind to me but quite strange. If wasn't so quite, I think we might have been friends.

I had an encounter with a spirit when I was 13, my friends and I had a seance and asked for a sign that a spirit was present and we heard a deep banging sound.

Scared the hell out of us and my mother swears to this day the house still has whatever entity we called in the house.

The first time i really remember there was just this connection feeling between me and this lady i won't name but there was this extremely hot feeling and no it was not lust lol. I mean like i was on fire so much i felt the heat of my skin through my clothes even and all they did was speak. Later i was told she zeroed in me on purpose because she felt i was the one she sought and that sort of freaked me for a bit cause wasn't sure what was meant till we sat down and talked for a longer time. Then i was like hey this is cool.

I believe I was 12 at the time, I saw what I thought was a spirit or another form of a spirit. Ever since I've just been into the whole Supernatural and Vampires.

I was very young. Around 7. The older I get the harder for me it is to believe, but I know what I saw.

My first encounter was with a spirit. It was with my husband's grandfather. He was dying, but not dead yet. We had moved 17 miles away and were in the shower getting ready for bed.. I got out and started drying off.. When I moved the towel from my head, his Papa was standing there. I like to had freaked the fuck out. I made Fenris32 drive me all the way to his Papa's house that night. It was around 11 when we left. They said when I walked into the room with him that I just fell on the floor.

I had a weird experience in a cemetery that i took my girlfriend to. She went there to explore the hauntings that were saifd to have happened there. My truck started up by itself and started to move. I wanted her to hurry up and get in the truck because i was the only one in it at the time. When she got back to the truck it started happening again.

My first encounter with a supernatural creature would have been while I was in jr. high. It was on Halloween night myself and several friends were walking past a cemetery. We saw what appeared to be a cat walking towards us with light reflecting off of it's eyes. When it got closer the only thing there was the eyes seeming to float in the air. Where the head and body should have been there was empty air. Even having seen it with my own eyes I would not have believed it but since my friends all saw the same thing I couldn't deny it. It paused about three feet from us looking at each of us then started to move towards us again at which point we ran like hell the other way.

the only encounter I've had are with spirits. The 1st one that sticks out clearly in my mind is one at a ware house I worked at during the night shift. He was pretty harmless. Mostly mumbling and staying outside of the peripheral vision. And once in a while cold spots. Aside from that, no vampires.

The first supernatural being I ever saw was a ghost in my house when I was 5. I remember the little boy named Sam that I would play with behind the couch in my living room at night. I would sneak out of bed at night to talk and play with him. My grandmother would often times catch me and make me go back to bed. Everyone else assumed that he was an imaginary friend until my niece started doing the same thing that i used to do and called him by his name.

I've seen a few ghosts in my time but have not met any vampires or werewolves etc...yet...

VR is the first exposier i have had to anything supernatural so far i like what i have learned and will be here for many years to come if it lasts and i have a feeling it aint going nowhere lol :)

There was a time when I was younger I woke up, I was in bed but I was so scared because I felt a presence in my room. I couldn't move not that I tried. I peeked and saw a dark shadow at the doorway but could only bearly see that it was a large figure. I was trying to convince myself that I was dreaming. I than felt that he was approaching me and I felt him touch my leg that was exposed from underneath the covers. I felt a chill, it wasn't like a hand of anothers .. I can't explain what it felt like.

i met a spirit and he was huge filled the room and ascared the crap outa me dont want to have it happen again

I just had my first encounter with a sang vampire about a month ago :)

I had an encounter with a sang vamp recently and unfortunately it wasn't a good experience. I am not letting that influence my feelings as I feel it was not reflective on the sang vamp community just on that person.
