Has anyone ever received protection in an emergency from a loved one or friend that has past? This can include old friends, relitives, co workers, pets and the like.

If so, could you give details of what happened, and if it happened in front of witnesses or not.

The only time I have had any protection from anyone was when I was dieing from bilateral pneumonia. I litteraly had 2 days to live and then it was like I felt someone reaching into my chest and healing my lungs... I felt like someone was trying to save me, like it wasn't my time to go yet. I don't know if this classifies as what you want, but it's what I have.

Not really, but my Gram died maybe 10 years ago for about 3 min. She told me she saw me when she was under. Would that mean I was protecting her? I'm not dead yet though.....I dont think. *checks pulse*

A friend of mine siad that her dead brother saved her life when she was driving one day, she looked over and swears she seen her Brother he looked so real she actually pulled over and not even 5 min down the road was a terrible wreck killing 3 people. she would had been the 2nd car in the accident if she had not pulled over aff the road. weird yet it is true she had passengers....

I believe My Grandfather and late Brother are protecting My Mother and Me, I just feel them there sometimes when things are going bad.

i fully believe that the loved ones of the past are and always will be around to protect us. I know that i have my great grandparents , grandparents and my brother always watching out for me. if i am ever unsure of things and afraid i ask them for guidance and it always works out even if it is in the long run.

I think my mom right now is trying to pre-warn me on relationship I am in. Yes she always is near me and is always veering me in the right direction even after death. But she has been comming to me every night.

yes i do believe that we are protected by loved ones that have passed on. i know i am protected by several loved ones that have passed. my friend steve that passed stays with me anytime i am around a new man to make sure nothing happens to me. and he lets me know if he thinks the man is safe or a good person.

Yes, I have always know my Grandmother and Great-grandmother protect me from beyond. I went to a physic for a reading last year and she told me that she felt two strong female protectors to have hat guide me from the spirit world.. I knew exactly who she was talking about.

Absolutely. When my boyfriend died in 1994, I was totally out of it for 2 weeks. One night I was going to cook something, and put water on to boil. I forgot about it, and went to bed. When I woke up, the pan was blackened, but the knob for the burner was in the off position. I know I left it on. It could have started a fire, but I know my boyfriend was watching over me.

i feel like one of my granparents saved me from dieing in a seizer, for it felt like none other ive had befor and the one i had i was purple and just about dead and then i came back, i just felt something weired that i never felt befor while seizeing

I believe we are protected by deceased loved ones . I have had too many times in my life that I should not have made it if someone was not watching over me.

I know my Grandmother is around sometimes, cause I smell her perfume(don't know what it is tho) Another time someone sent to my moms house to me, a guardian angel pin, angel earrings and a wrap around ring with the moon and stars. She called me cause she thought I ordered something and I called the place and gave them the invoice number and they said the shipment was paid for!!! I never figured out who it came from...

Not family or friends, but the guardian angel usually appears to warn me of any type of situation, or keeps me from certain situations for the greater good.

What I am about too say cand be looked at from many different views. While working on a drilling rig, the kelly line snapped, causing the blocks to fall to the floor. In my attempt to move out of the way, i ran forward, but ended up falling to my left, and landed on the ground, ten feet below the rig floor. If I would have continued on my original path, i would have been crushed, for the blocks landed right where I would have ended up. The other floor hand, who was standing in the dog-house, said he did not see me trip on anything, nor did it look like I had jumped off.

i do know that my dad watches over me and protects me as much as possible

I have never had what your talking about happen to me. Buy my old best friend lost her father many years back and she says that when she needs him the most he is always there. One night we were over at her house just her and I and she said that her father came to her when she was in the kitchen ( i was in the bathroom) and told her and she and I needed to leave trhe house right away something was bad was going to happen. But he left before she could find out what, so we left nd came back the next morning and the house had been broken into and we called the police and they told us we were lucky 4 armed men had been robbing houses and even one man got shot.

During an appendectomy (removal of appendix) I saw my brother in my sleep..

my last seizure I had it lasted way past theeir usually length so my mom prayed to her mom/my grandma, I just was losing my ticker and they were about to stop using the heart (whatever that gadget is called -- pace maker?) and right when they were about to stop and God knows what my mom prayed to her and St. Jude and I returned...ticker and all :)

I wish I did have her protection, my ex was my guiding light in life for many years until she died. I would hope that she would be watching over me.

I have no idea of anyone who has died if that is what you are asking has protected me or not. I know of some incidents in my life where that coudl have been the case.

this past summer i was tired and driving home i could of sworn my daughter's dad was in the back seat and he told me to stop for the train i then relized that there was a train on the tracks i was approuching and i would of hit it i was doing about 80 ended up vering off into a corn field but that is much better then hitting a stopped train at 80 mph

My parents always tell me this story. The day my mother was in labor with me my great-grandma was dying. My mom was having serious birth complications w/ me and the doctors didn't really think i was gonna make it. When my great-grandma died her last words were "Rodolfo's daughter's born" well for one, no one knew i was gonna be a girl, and two like I said before they thought i was gonna die. She died about 2 hrs before I was born on February 21.

im not certain but i believe that my great grandmother watches over me and protects me from time to time.

I have had visions and dreams of past loved ones many times. And the weird thing is that what ever they say in the dream/vision always happened. I guess they where trying to warn me.

i thinkthere is always some one there whether is a negative or positive spirit but some people may recieve it stronger then others for they dont notice it

I do not think I had or have received any protection from deceased loved ones; that I know of. But I think it is a possibility. My Mother has been told on several occasions that my Father, Brother, and possibly Grandfather are watching over her and protecting her. On three random occasions she has been told by very different people that there are 'lights' following her. However, there is little evidence to support this. In all instances, there have just been people seeing 'things' most often 'lights' near her or following her. On one of these occasions, she had been stopped by a woman who claimed to be a paranormal investigator and psychologist. She was also told that there are 'light' entities following and (she assumed) protecting her by this woman.

I forgot to add that the woman also claimed to be psychic.

I have never experienced anything like that, but my best friend went to a woman who would draw the face of a human spirit that watches over you...the Woman knew that his Father and Aunty had passed and even drew their likeness. She asked him if he had seen the signs they had sent to him, he then realised that he had but he just didn't know it was at the time. His Father even told him off for driving drunk one time hehe

I had always been highly close to My grandpa and I believe He protects Me I have seen Him but He looks Younger and He watches Over Me and My kids several times He has scared Me not expecting to see Him there Theres been no communication except Me seeing HIm I guess Him letting Me know He is there

I am constantly protected by my cat and my nanna. I first realised it when I was just a young boy of 8 or 9 when I saw my nanna. After my cat died when I was about 14 or 15, I saw her with my nanna.

i personally believe that past loved ones (and by past i assume u mean passed as in died.) are watching over us. my dad passed on 2 years ago adn still to this day some things happen to me where i get "lucky" like almost getting into that car wreck but somehow my body reacted to what my eyes didnt even see. i think it was my dad. its all about perception. but i know hes watching out for me

My father has recently passed (2 years ago the 13th of this month. to me this is recent) And in times of stress and indecision I feel his presence as if he is guiding me quietly and lending me his strength as he did in life.

I was driving home after I buried my first wife. I fell asleep whilst behind the wheel when I heard my first wife speak to me. It sound as though it was right next to me where she always sat. All it was was watch the road ahead and it woke me up. Lucky for me I woke up just before I ran off the road.

Was it a dream or was it her watching out for me I will never know. But it did save my life whichever way.

I have been protected by my grandmother on numerous occasions. Whenever I'm bound to end up in a bad situation, I feel her presence. It has kept me from getting in car accidents, being at the wrong place at the wrong time, and even from getting speeding tickets because I've learned over the years that when I feel her, I need to change what I'm currently doing, even if it's only to slow down while driving.

Well I'm not quite sure who the person is but I know it's one that was very close to me.
On various occasions when I'm at my weakest, I feel someone in the room with me teling to to never give up and to keep holding on and that person comforts me on many different occations.

i seem to have a guardian angel maybe its an ancestor, who knows, god knows ive been almost dead to many times not to have had something interviening on my behalf.

yes grandmother s mine im sure of it .. many times in a dream she will tell me something i must do and of course when she speaks i jump up and do it lol .. i guess i rember if i didn't it was no dessert or quarters for the video games .. i so miss her .. just about 16 rs now she been gone

There have been several things that someOne was watching over me, us...In fact we have 3 of them watching over us..My Dad, my Grandmother and my Uncle James..We were all close and several times we came so close to dying but yet had a helping hand in keeping us safe

I can not recall ever experiencing this first hand but in an interview on 60 minutes Dale Earnhardt Jr. said that when he had his bad crash in a race driving a corvette that caught on fire he swore until they showed him the video that someone pulled him out of the car and wanted to know who and where they were. once he saw the video he now believes his deceased father was the one that helped him get out of the car.

I have a protector and feel the love of my protector, yet I cannot say with certainty that she is a past love, only that I know in my soul we are connected in time.

I know I have at least two protectors: my first love Andy, and also my spiritual mother Sue, who I met online, but never met in person. I feel their presence all around me, and they make themselves known so I know which of them it is.

I felt that my father-in-law was watching over my son when he was born. My father-in-law died when I was 8 months pregnant. He never got to see his first grandchild. I felt his presense for a few weeks. When I guess he knew the baby was ok, he was ready to pass over.

I believe it happens, it doesn't happen to me, but I am happy to hear that it does for people though.

I have. My grandmother protects me often. Sometimes, she'll come to me in my dreams to forewarn me of something, and other times, I'll feel her presence and it lets me know that I have to pay more attention because the situation could get bad.

i was in a car crash with a friend i could swear i saw my grandfather sanding in front of a tree we hit and when we look at the damage there was no damage on the side that hit the tree

I know for certain that my late grandfather protects me. I too was in a horrible car accident th last thing I saw was my grandfather before the crash. As horrifing as the car accident was and the damage to the car I was able to still have my life I know that I did die and they had to revive me. but it wasn't my time that is what my grandfather told me

yes your loved ones that pass on do protect you from any harm that my come your way they may give you drams and show you what to do and they may even see you once in a while to keep you focused on your tasks you need to do so yes they do protect you when they pass on

I have felt my past loved ones around, and have been given comfort by them, so It would stand to reason that they protect me. But as them coming through in a dangerous situation, shrugs never needed them yet

This is something I feel very strongly about. I just totaled my car on Monday night Feb. 4th. It flipped twice. I shouldn't have been able to live through it but I managed to walk away from it with nothing more than 3 staples in the back of my head and a few scratches.

I wrecked in the very same graveyard that my grandfather is buried in. Had it not been for him, I believe I would have died... He was riding with me the whole time...

i know for a fact that my dead grandparents, (dad's parents)....during my high school years, i couldnt sleep because i would have this eerie feeling in my bedroom at the time.......and then i would get this feeling of comfort and my grandmother's scent...and the smell of my grandfather that would get after mowing the lawn...then i would feel my grandfather slide his hand on my head...and there would be an imperssion on the bed like he's really sitting down...and my another imperssion of someone sitting on end of my bed, like my grandmother used to do ......it didnt scare me at all..i was actually looking forward to sleep at night, cause i knew my grandparents would be there...and if they sensed that if i was in more danger then i could handle, i would feel another spirit, but yet that spirit was comforting too, like an uncle feeling sorta....

The late spirit of my grandfather has protected me on several occasions from car accidents.
I was driving at about seventy on the highway going from one jobsite to another, and everyone in my lane had stopped abruptly. I needed new brakes for over three months at this point but couldn't afford it. There was a car to my left and I was boxed in on the righthand lane with no place to go. The rift I felt encompass me literally stopped all time around me and the vehicle I was driving, allowing an opening to the left passing lane inches before colliding with the car ahead of me. It would have meant certain death at the speed we were going... my ex-wife and my former co-worker were riding with me. After the event I felt calm and saw an image of my grandfather appear before me on the road. I have never forgot that I am here for a reason, and he's never stopped loving me even though he had seen me but twice in my entire life.

unfortunately, no. i wish it would be so, but then again, i don't often find myself in predicaments worse than, a flat tire or empty gas tank.

When I was giving birth to my first son, one of three children, I was apparently talking to my long dear great grandmother whom I had never meet before. She died when When my grandmother was 17 in a car accident in the mountains of West Virginia ....

Any ways off topic.. Because of medical issues I have unable to receive medication before or during childbirth yet some how during this time witch I dont recall I seemed to not have any pain. I was told later that this had happen ...

Some things happen to a person when he or she is alone.....like seeing a dead relative thats trying to protect you. Not always the dead relative is going to show up to you with everyone around....

I think My grandmother influenced me in staying away from my ex

Is for myself no. But, my 10 yr old niece lost her brother last summer, he was just crazy about her he was 24. She was at the public pool with her mother . She could'nt swim and was riding on a friends back when she fell off she was in the deepest water. The lifegaurd was a small young guy and my sister said in that the water was over his head too..
She told me that when he picked her out of the water it was like someone pulled her all the way out of the pool and gentle sat her on the side. We all say that her brother helped pool her out fo that pool.

My aunt and uncle were driving back home from a dinner party and as my uncle was driving he said he saw his dead sister, i guess her spirit, and stopped the car abruptly. He thought nothing of it but when he drove on further more down the street he said he saw a big huge accedent occur right in front of him so it was as if his sister was trying to save him...

My dad past away 15 years ago. I used to think I felt him often, but over the years the I noticed I didn't feel him any more. When he first pasted, my mom used to say she could feel him in the house and even smell his cigarette smoke (she never let him smoke in the house and she always did have a good sense of smell). She hasn't mentioned this for years now.

I honestly think that my father and grandmother sent me my oldest daughter. After they both died my life went to hell... and i was skipping merrily into oblivion.... I was on a road that would have killed me young.... for what ever reason I had lost one baby before i ever knew i was pregnant.... and then as i began spiraling out of control a thought popped into my head that I wanted a baby. I got pregnant... and just before i did i decided that it was time for me to grow up and i wasnt sure how i was going to go about doing so.... and i was blessed with my oldest daughter.... and from the moment i knew i was pregnant my life changed and I as a person changed.... and now I'm on a better road and have a reason to put my best foot forward every waking day

yes, I often receive help from my Dad that passed on over a year ago. When I need something,anything at all, its like somehow I receive it and I know he is showing me where to find the things i seek,etc.

I have never personally experienced this myself. The closest I would come would be warnings from deceased loved ones letting me know when someone I am close to is about to pass. I received this particular warning from my Grandfather about my Gran.

I've recieved protection from a familiar energy source. I honestly can't tell you if it was my great grandmother, my grandfather, or (as odd as this may sound...) my future daughter (though, I'm somewhat sure it wasn't her, since I know her energy well enough now to sense when she's in the room)

My dad's house had at least 2 spirits in it, though I tend to believe there were 3. One bad, two good/friendly. I know that my future daughter was one of them, b/c she likes to play tricks on me, and my family members. The other two, I have no clue, but the good/friendly spirit kept the bad one at bay and didn't let it hurt my family or me.

My Mother told me that her Mother saved my baby brothers life, by attracting her attention to the crib.

last year my niece was sleeping in her crib it was christmas eve and we were all cooking she was only four days old all of a sudden a dresser fell over back in the room she was in we all ran back to see what happened it was at the opposite end of the room but here she had quit breathing and we had to call the parimedics she is now fine but if it would not have been for that we would not have found her in time my mother says someone knocked the dresser over to get our attention

i feel that if a family member die's or a close friend..they will be around you..to watch you and yes protect you if they can...i know they have done it for me.

I have avoided several nasty accidents so far in life by crying out to my ancestors spiritually, whilst sayiing with adamantation "NO!" which usually stops the motion altogether in a very abrupt manner. So much so it almost leaves me nauseous.
Most people witnessing the events have tended to stare in awe and wonder at my near miss with death, but I know the truth. Those with strong ties to their past have a stronger future, and they are watched over and cared for by those they recognize and respect in death.

Last october my grandmother who was a inspriation had passed away. anyway during the holidays I get very stressed and it was my turn to cook xmas dinner here at my house. Well it was the day after xmas when I was cooking and I saw here three times that day, I don't know if she was warning me or what but it made me stay calm all day.

Few years ago my brother had a stroke and he was very ill, the doctors told us that we should pull the plug because he is not going to make it that his brain was bleeding, we told them that it is early to even decide to kill my brother that way. So my other brother and his friends decide to pray every night we got a bunch of people to pray with us and do a prayer.. One night after the prayer I todd up next to the altar and I felt a goosebump went all over my body and i feel the electricity all over me and i smell the flowers and i asked everyone around me if they smell the flower and if they have goosebumps also and no one seems to have the experience that i just felt. they told me that it might be my mother (who has been dead for 10 years now) visited me letting me know that everything is going to be okay and that my brother will be fine... that is a weird feeling and i never felt like that ever before. after that my brother survive and he is doing well... u have to believe also believe in prayers. They really work, and i know my mother is always there watching out for me protecting me from bad things that is going to happen .

Always felt 'looked after' while visiting my maternal grandparent's home after my grandmother passed away. It was if she were there watching over us.

My great grandmother was the only old person i knew who wore perfume that didnt make me get an asthma attack. it was really nice and it make me feel calm when i smelled her.

and now that she is gone and ill antsy or just uncomortable somewhere and all of a sudden ill smell her perfume again out of the middle of nowhere and it feels like someone is there but nobody is

Yes i have. My Friend John was driving my son and I home. We were on the road for awhile and it was late. I had fallen asleep and felt a tap on my shoulder. I opened my eyes a little, but ignored it and went back to sleep. I felt another tap and heard my dead fathers voice call my name. I then was startled awake to notice my friend John sleeping at the wheel. I screamed his name, he awoke and we avoided driving into on coming traffic.
