I preffer worshiping Zeus, the God of all Gods.

I admire his rigtheous rule over all the Gods, fast way Zeus is settling disputes among them, as well his good nature, and love for women.


I as well find fullfillment in the worship of the Egyptian God Anubis, the guardian of the Underworld.

I like the rolle Anubis is playing in the Underworld, as well his mistic representation as an Egyptian God.

I'm a Christian, so I only worship one God. I can't say that I am so closed minded to only notice there may be other dieties out there though. I believe what I believe b/c it's just part of who I am. I do like to learn about other religions where more than one god or godess is worshiped though.

To me it dosn't matter their names that I have chosen, it's just a way of indentifying them. Some people just rather go with mythological names cuz the resorces are there reguarding them. However, I feel it really dosn't matter what name you have choosen. It's the same one reguardless of name.

To clear up any confusion from my last post. I'm open minded. I realize there are other Gods and Godesses out there.

I am Wiccan, so I would have to say the Goddess (Mother Earth) and the God (The Green Man)... many may say it sounds silly to worship something called the green man, but it is only a name. I worship the world around me, and as it is both feminine and masculine, I worship a goddess and a god.

God as well for me for most of my life, however at this point in my life I am no longer absolutely sure.

The Great Goddess (the Universe). I worship many gods and goddesses but recognize all of them as aspects of the Great Goddess.

The Maori Gods and Goddesses I worship would be Papatuanuka (Mother Earth) and Ranginui (Sky Father) as they are the Mother and Father of all the Gods.
Next would be Tangaroa, God of the Sea as I am a water baby and love the ocean

As my persoanl beliefs bring the existance of other gods and goddesses into a differnet light. I only honor which ever one I need help with in a particular task. Though I tend to honor Vulcan and Hephestus more than many others.

I haven't found my God and Goddess yet, though I don't think names matter to them. But if I had to choose, I'd probably favour the Egyptian pantheon. Not sure why, I just find them very attractive.

i worship many beings some call them demons and others called them gods, but out of all the Demons/Gods Lilith is my matron and the one that i am closest to.

I worship the Horned God and Diana. It feels right to worship them. I also worship some other Gods and Goddesses but for the most part I just worship Diana and the Horned God

I am agnostic. Not born agnostic mind you. Grew into it so to speak. I don't worship a God or Goddess persay persay, but i have a high respect for whatever higher being out there created this world/universe and i do respect everyone elses beliefs and views. I'm more a spiritual being then a religious one, but different strokes for different folks. It's all good in my book. =]

Artemis I'm not sure what it is about her but I love everything she stands for and I guess I can relate to her.

I can't really say at this point that I truly follow or worship a god. I was christened Lutheran and have gone to some form of Christian based religion for a large portion of my life. I was also at one time a practicing satanist. I still however believe that there is only one true God. Unfortunately for me I believe I have strayed to far to be redeemed. There are things that cannot be forgiven. It does not matter to me what religion someone does or does not follow we all have freewill to do as we see fit and it is not my place to judge anyone. I am far from perfect. I do like learning about other beliefs and religions. I do not try to force my beliefs on anyone especially since I failed at mine that would be rediculously hypocitical.

I follow Anupu (Anubis) I have been his Priestess before,and I follow the Underworld and the Trickster Gods,Loki and Coyote,there just fun and they mess things up,but always fix them better than before and make me laugh at myself.

Aradia and her daughter Diana, Cerrunanos (the Horned God) and Lucifer. These are all divinities found in "Aradia, Gospel of the Witches". However their worship is not limited to Witches. Diana is also known as Artemis, Cerrunanos is also known as The Green Man, Herne the Hunter, and Lucifer as the Light Bringer..and other names. They are among those divinities I hold most dear, but I worship none.

my wife is drawn to bast, and myself would have to be osiris, we can not explain it but we are drawn to them. we are open to all gods/goddesses.

But to answer the question at hand I am a Nocturnal Pagan and thus poly-theistic. But although I do pray to various "aspects" of Gods and Goddesses I feel they are all part of a whole. "The Source" if you will.
One common analogy may be to think of "The Source" as a source of water that trickles down from high atop a mountain; the water branches off in to various brooks, streams, rivers, lakes, and oceans. But Say you were to tap into one of them or follow the water all the way back to the ultimate source of water....is it all not still water?
So We(as Witches or any religion for that matter) may call upon various names, each name allocating a specific aspect of "The Source" but whats in a name? Ultimately the name of the God or Goddess leads back as a sonic key to opening a door to "The Source" Only there you will find what you seek....

Everyone likes a pat on the butt once in awhile. Even a god/goddess. They still had some, although limited, human qualities. One reason why we need to make that personal relationship with them.

I Catholic. I worship the Lord. And I have excepted Jesus Christ as my lord and savior. I did this because out of all the religions I have tried this is the one I was most knowledgeable, the one that I felt most comfortable with, the one that has always given me the faith and strength I needed to rise above myself.

Themis. In all her attributes, is my Lady, and it is her I serve before all others.

Not by just choice, but out of respect for the path she inspires me upon.

Of the Goddess aspect: Kali, Sekhmet, Athena, and the Fates(maiden, mother and crone).

Of the God aspect: Loki, Tyr, Hephaestus and Posidon.

I have my reasons....

I worship Aphrodite. When I was in High School I came upon a revelation that led me to Aphrodite; my teacher was revealing the story about Eros and a girl's name that is lost in my memory. Aphrodite gave the girl four tasks to complete. There is way more to the story, but it is to much for me to tell. Four has always been my favorite number, and I felt eerily drawn to Aphrodite before that time. That story was the last thing that made me worship Aphrodite. I believe it was Her whispering into my subconscious when I made that revelation.

My favirote goddess would be the demon goddess Liltih, she represents wemon rights. She was adams first wife in the garden of eden. However she refused to lay beneath him during sex and god cast her out. That's why she is important to me.

I am a dark pagan and believe in one universal source. I contact the source through facets that many here would have as distinct deities. The most common facets of the source I align with in my works and prayers are Mother Kali and Lord Shiva. This dark celestial couple are the creators and destroyers of all in each universal cycle through their dance.

I don't really believe in gods and/or goddesses per se, because if you take away all the religions in the world, you're left with the earth and that's what makes most sense to me. I suppose being Native American has something to do with that. I believe there are spirits of things (things in the natural earth, etc) and those things provide us with life so we should thank them and be grateful. That's what I believe in.
But whatever works for other people is fine too. I don't hold it against them for believing what they do.

But I have been working with Kali with all the change in my life. Need and want to work all the old shit out of myself. Past lives and anything else that is necessary to move on. Not interested in the costs either. Not for the faint of hearted.

Also work with Isis, Apollo, Uriel and Michael for healing sessions. Started with JC many years ago. Great influence back then. Will most likely go back for some more lessons but not now.

I dont worship the Greek God's but the ideal they represent appeals to me.
It's kind of like taking a part of an idea and transfering it to real life.
With all the god's comes balance, which is, to me, a large part of spirituality.

Most people don't like my answer to questions like this but I will answer just for the simple pleasure of seeing what happens. I don't believe in any gods or goddesses, I only believe in myself and as so I am my own GOD!!! But please keep in mind that I am the kind of person that keeps a very open mind & am open to a wide range of ideas. But for things like gods & such I am more of a see it to believe it kind of person!!

I worship the Lord and Lady all gods and goddesses but depending on the spell I will call on aspects of the God and Goddess I think will help most. Or that I feel closest to and that seems to change. Lately that seems to be Anubis and Nyx.

I'm not sure. I suppose I worship them all in my actions. I pray to not one specifically, on occasion I kind of send a request or thank you in their general direction.

Hmm, for me that is a difficult question. I am Wiccan, so I do believe in the God and the Goddess. However if I had to pick one, I would say Bast. She seems to be the one I relate to the most.

My answer in one word would be, self.

I don't get this gods and goddesses and who do you believe and worship. To me they are all the same and one. Same energy, same oneness same all.

I follow the Celtic pantheon which is Cernunnos and Ceridwen. I also favor Queen Medb and Taliesin.

I consider myself pagan but I believe in One creator of all, though I do worship both the male and female aspects of that being.

All the gods and goddess’ are but facets of it, in my mind. I do have some names that I call upon when my need seems to fit their qualities best.

But in the end I am happy with Lord and Lady or God and Goddess, I don’t feel the need most times to force them into a particular mold, by names.

That is a tricky question for me, because I believe that all God's/ Goddesses are the same, just different facets of it's personality and creative force.

Personally, I agree with DarkRose875, I worship the Creative Force of whom all gods/goddesses are a reflection. However, there are certain deities whom I have a connection with.

I have an affinity for the Egyptian religion, so I do tend to favor the Egyptian pantheon, specifically Anubis and Isis, as well as Horus/Osiris.

Being of Celtic/Welsh descent, I do have a certain affinity for the Celtic pantheon, specifically Cerridwyn.

I even give homage to certain angels and demigods, specifically St. Uriel Aretziel, St. Mikhail Ashel, and the Threefold Fates.

But ultimately and above all others, I owe complete homage and obedience to He Who Is Called Tetragrammaton, YHVH, I Am That I Am.

As a sidenote from my last post, while I don't usually callupon the Norse gods, I do have several close friends who are Asatru, and I have been known to assist them in their dealings, and have a certain respectful alliance with the Norse deities, specifically Fenrir and Fenris (maybe not gods, but connected to them) due to my lupine nature.
