What's your astrological sign? Does it match you? Do you believe in horoscopes and all this stuff all together, and why or why not?

My sign is Virgo and I do see alot of my characteristics in my sign. As far as believing horoscopes I dont totally believe in them because most times what my horoscope says does not come true

I am an aries.. very much an aries in every way possible. My personality matches my sign to a tee. As far as horoscopes for kicks I read them but do not live by them. The most accurate horoscope that I have found though is on myspace.com. I do tend to look at it every now again.

I'm a sagitarius, I don't think it matches me at all actually. No I don't believe in horoscopes..I think its all fake..like a confidence booster...or something...I've read my horoscopes and they are never right.

Im pieces and yes it goes well im also the roster and that really fits me … I look at horoscope and take it with a pinch as it’s not personally.
I do believe in Taroscopes the use of Tarot (Thoth pack) to test ones psyche at that moment…

I am a cancerian and even though I tend not to believe in the generalisations of the horoscopes, i have found myself to be a typical cancerian.

However, if you look in to the egyptian horoscopes and egyptian astrology, you will find that the sign for the same period of the year actually corresponds to a cancerian in many ways.

Cancer.. and for the most part I match. I do not put a lot of faith into my horoscope, but it is sometimes eerily correct..

I am a Libra and I do believe in astrology but not the ones in the newspapers. If done properply its quite a complicated and yes.....even scientific......process with charts,etc.

I am Aquarious with a Leo rising sign. Sometimes my rising sign's horoscope is more on tract than my actual sign. Perhaps it is because I am a cusp baby. (Meaning born on the edge of 2 signs) Actually some places say I'm Aquarious and some say Pisces, I think Aquarious though Feb 18th last day of the sign.

Speaking of which - I can't wait for us to go into the age of Aquarious!!

I am a pisces, and I think the characteristics of that sign actually fit me very well. But as far as determining how the rest of my week will go or what I will experience I don't think that my horoscope can fortell that.

I am a Leo and some things do match me.

Well I was born on the cusp of Aries and Taurus...Sometimes I show stronger sides of one over the other...so it's a tough call for me...

I am pisces and I do fall under the traits of this sighn. sometimes i do read and is astounished by the horoscope layout, but usually just blow them off.

im a virgo and it does match me. or the character traits do. the predictions only come true sometimes and thats because it in the mind. when someone tells you something will happen then it is set in your mind and you make it happen yourself without being aware of it.

Proud Scorpio. I believe it matches me accurately. I believe in them because sometimes I will go the whole day and then come home read my horoscope for the day and it will say exactly what happened to me.

some horoscopes define you pretty good. when you read it for a certain day you say 'yes, thats right!' and when they say something bad about you some people naturaly say they don't believe in this stuff anyways. lol

I believe in horoscopes to an extent. When reading them, you have to think about what's going on in your life and kinda read between the lines (a lot of horoscopes I've read are very vague and easy to interpret it to your life)

I have to agree with RenaJade. I'm also a Pisces and I have a lot of characteristics of one. I do believe in the horoscopes to an extent. I can't say that I base my every move on what it says but I like to think that some of it does happen for me. But I also like the Chinese horoscopes. I was born in the year of the dragon and I fit with most of that personality as well.

Im a libra and I have to say that although I dont really follow horoscopes, most of the descriptions of a Libra match me personally.

I often wonder what qualifies people to write horoscopes. Take for instance the local newspaper that includes horoscopes on a weekly basis. I've never seen any credentials in the newspaper nor any of the websites that offer them.

Without know anything about the people creating the horoscopes, I cannot in good faith believe that the vague sentences devoted to my sign are accurate.

You just said it yourself....vague comments. Yes we are individuals with different personalities but seriously we are all in a big circle. Everyone at sometime or another will go through the same problem or feel the same way. So if you are a virgo for instance, chances 20 out of 32 virgos will be going through the same thing.
Ive read horoscopes that one day hit the nail on the head and some on other days that were so far off.

I find that a natal chart that was drawn up for me some time ago was very 'me'...otherwise my general characteristics do not reflect my birthsign.

I am a Leo born on the cusp though. ANd I do have a lot of both Leo and Cancer traits. I do believe in astrology...mostly because in my case it has been very accurate.

I'm a Cancer, and I do believe in horoscopes, only because they're so easy to believe (because they're just so vague), and because they are rather accurate.. also because they are very vague. Either way, horoscopes are fun and encouraging in many ways, so I do look at mine once in a while. =)

I find my horoscope rather accurate usually but I also find it hard to believe that the whole human population are following the same twelve-way path and that everyone is experiencing the same...if that made any sense at all.

I am a Leo and im very much a Leo. my personality really match what it says, but just like everybody said, I dont really follow the daily horoscope. nothing really seems to happen when i read them so i just give up on it.

I am a Capricorn. I do fit it somewhat. I think of what the Horoscopes say as one of many things that could happen. Fate is always changing, one thing can be a part of it, but it does not mean it is the whole thing.

On the Chinese Zodiac I am a rat or a pig. Given that I am born of the first day of the standard year. Though I show bits of both in me all the time.

I am a Virgo with a Cancer moon. I find that I have many of the characteristics of both these signs. However in Chinese Astrology I am a Dog and I also have these characteristics.

When it comes to prediction well that all goes out the window as rarely do my star sign predictions ever come to fruition. So that part of astrology I don't really believe in.

I'm Cancer, and I think it matches me and most of the time if I read my horoscopes they either come true or are right about stuff that already happened that day/month.

9 times out of 10, I'd say I match up with the description of my sign. Not that I put too much faith into it.

Even more interesting is the fact that I seem to match up with my Chinese horoscope and its description of my being as well. Born in the year of "The Dog"

I'm not so sure with horoscopes and star signs. To be classified as one type of person just because of the period of time within the year you were born just doesn't ring true to me.
Also, I'm a cancerian and the descriptions mostly don't match me. I'm told time and time again that I do not belong to my star sign.

Of course it matches me. What some of you don't understand, is that there is MUCH more to astrology than your SUN sign that influences you and describes you!

There is the SUN of course, then there are all the planets. Then there are 12 houses with signs too. There is the Nodes and the Ascendant that is as important as your Sun sign showing who you are.

There are aspects too in your chart, the midheaven and solar and lunar returns. There is a TON of math involved and is very precise, according to birth time and place, with longitudes and latitudes.

So you see, it's not just a matter of looking your Sun sign up in the paper and expecting it to be just for you. hahaha! Those are very general.

If you had a proper chart constructed, you would see yourself in it.

And if you studied astrology, as I have for 25 years, then you would see how it is a true science. If you haven't studied it, then don't criticize something you know nothing about.

I'm an Aquarius, and it does describe my personality, but I think that the horoscope stuff is just like "cold readings" that supposed psychics do... that shit can happen to anyone at any given day.

I did read what you wrote, and to make things clear, I was talking about the horoscopes that people see in newspapers or magazines. I was implying that I also think that they are too general.

I am a Libra(Oct. 10th) and yes I do match up to all of the characteristics! I don't necessarily believe in horoscopes themselves because a lot of them are quite general; there are times when my horoscope does match up to what's happening in my life for a few days, and then I'll have weeks where what my horoscope says does not apply at all!

Iam a Pisces with aquarius tendencies, and my personality matches perfectly

As for my husband, hes a scorpio, and his personalty also matches perfectly.

In my opinion they are usually fairly accurate.

I'm a Virgo. It seems that my sign matches me a great deal... The only reason why I'm into Astrology is because it's what describes me the best... As for horoscopes, it's kind of like a fortune cookie... Sometimes it comes true or sometimes it doesn't make sense at all. If your sign doesn't feel right then you should look more into it...

Capricorn is my Sun sign, Scorpio is my ascendent, and Cancer is my Moon sign. The horoscope you read in the newspapers is based only on your Sun sign, and is a general prediction based on your Sun sign and the daily positions of the planets as they affect that sign.
The actual science of Astrology is much more complex than your daily predictions, and I do believe there is validity in a personal natal chart interpreted by a competent astrologer.
Given the above positions of the planets on my birthdate, I think I am affected by them in my personality.

I think you'll find that if you have a natal chart constructed to find your rising sign or ascendant, and look at your daily horoscope under that sign, it will apply to you more often than your sun sign. This is just what I have been told by an Astrologer...

I do not find many traits that match me at all from my Horoscope. As far as whether I believe in astrology or not... probably not. People have looked to the stars too long for answers. Maybe people should look more inward before looking outward. Until human kind finds the true nature of themselves then the true nature of anything else is far from reach.

Virgo here. Yes I'm very orderly,everything has a place.

Aries in the house! Bday less than a month. Yes I believe in astrologic signs and I believe I am right on time with the signs of an aries. My last mate was an aries we were very similar. My new mate is a Leo, and very much so!

I am an Aquarius. It didnt fit me when I was younger but now it fits me perfectly.

I am a Lebra. The only reason that I would say a horoscope works is because once you view your day, good or bad, I thick that it will effect your day through you mental actions.

I absolutely love astrology. I use it frequently to figure out a person's personality and whatnot, and it never fails me. Ever.

I think I might look too much into it sometimes.

I have a book that breaks down the signs by the actual day born. Have shared the information within the book with many and everytime have been at least 3/4 accurate in its information. Not everything will apply to all signs. Depends on the house in which you are born in. Was personally born in the first house of aries.

I am a Sagittarius. I do see many of the Sagittarian traits in myself, but it's not all correct. There are many traits that are nothing like me, and I have many traits that are not related to Sagittarians.
