How many of us have had reoccurring dreams of vampires or demons?
I have had the same dream for weeks now so Just kinda want to know. I don't consider it to be a nitemare just a interesting dream.

well I have had dreams I put to maybe past lives and memories I am like you not nightmares just dreams or like memories... it is interesting in my opinon and I know I have had past lives a very old soul as it is told.. :)

me too. the only time i ever "dream" is when i have either a premoition or a memory of a past life

you have no idea how many time i dremtp of demons and hell. and look how i ended up. im in hell. and im more like in charge than a demon.

I always have dream of such matter sometimes its all about vampires and werepeople and stuff....then somestimes its a "normal" dream but it always have some effects of that subject...tehehhe i love it..

I have a few recurring dreams along those lines, one of which I have had since I was about 9. I always thought it was funny that other kids would talk about recurring nightmares involving monsters, but in mine I was always the scariest thing.

I don't dream a lot. Or at least I don't remember my dreams that much. But, when I do, I have many dreams of Vampires and of wolves. And they are always pleasant. Never anything scary. Just normal.

i have dreams about vampires over and over again. i think its just wishful thinking so i dream it to make me happy. i also dream about death a lot that normally blend in with the vampiric dreams of mine.

i have dreams about many things... and one vampire is in most of them...

Hmm. I have been having this recurring dream where I am downtown and there is no one else on the street. Even the bars downtown seem totally empty though there is music coming out the doors.

I turn around at one point and see someone running towards me as fast as they can. I panic and begin to run myself. Of course, I end up tripping on a curb and before I know it, the person is right on top of me. I turn around and see myself as a vampire with fangs and all, and then suddenly my point of view shifts to the vampire self. I am drinking the blood from myself who is on the ground in the middle of the street. The dream always ends right there.

Usually, when I'm running from myself, I'm terrified and when I'm the vampire self, I feel a predatory satisfaction at a hunt well executed.

I've had one or two, they're not that common. Usually I am the vampire. Yeah!

I have never had a dream about a vampire, which is weird because I've probably dreamed of everything else. I always remember my dreams too, at least one or two a night. I do dream of falling though and when I wake up I feel like I've just dropped into my bed from about three feet above it and the bed feels like it bounces a bit. Or I stop breathing.

i have also done this and usualy it means that you are destined to become a vampire and or demon but tahts just usualy

well..long long time ago i have a one dream two vampires are floging pentagram on my shoulder i have that dream 3 weeks

I have one that is a nightly thing. I consider my reaccuring dreams to be past lives, because it is not seldom that I have reaccuring dreams, and the few that I do have I have everynight. It is odd. There is one that stands out about a vampire though. :)

re occuring dreams come to me often...

i don't consider them a nightmare either i's something i learned to live with... usuallytheir a message and you only get i till a certain thing is finished...

My own first started when I was fifteen.

I am waiting at a bus shelter and there are some dark clad people coming up the road towards me.

Arriving is the bus and then they start running at me and I see that they are vampires, all female, snarling with bared teeth.

The bus makes to leave and I run and jump on the back...its like one of the old open backed London buses.

And there it ends. I remember having had it maybe five or six times in my life, which is a lot considering how few dreams I do remember.

I take it as a premonition of my ex.

My first time I had the dream I was a little girl. I was lost and a tall lady took me in and raised me til I was school age and that is how i came to my mother. Then now and then I dream of her fighting for me but its more like I'm watching it , like a dream inside of a dream, anyway I can see myself but I can't do anything. The women in my dreams does come back to me when I'm older too. The strange thing is she tells me not to ever worry she will always watch me grow but can never help me again she gave me a life and wants to see how I mange it and when the time comes I will become as she does. This is always the part I get confused about. There are other dreams too but this is the one I have always had she is in all my dreams which is strange to me. Its like a continuing dream.

i have had so many that i have learned to listen to them. Although many times they have been of zombies and i have tried to block them out. I still found myself being more cautious around others after having them.

My recurrent drem/nightmare was so strange, This dream dissappeared only a few years ago, but It would come to my mind frequently, at least once a year for many years.. and it had to be something with a possesed sword and a posessed column.. weird! I know.. and it's hard to describe it.. yet it was very simple. Never knew what it meant,

I have only had one dream about vampires that I can remember. I was a small child and it scared me. I am sure I have dreamed of vampires before and just did not remember it the next day.

When i was younger i kept having reoccuring dreams, more like movies in my head and i felt like i was awake the whole time playing it all out which i was but it felt so real. i soon after put my dreams inot a story because i had it played out from beginning to last and i wrote them down in a journal i had and sooner or later typed it all out. write them down after you wake up, it will help you try and figre things out more on them. I dont have as many vampire dreams as when i was a lot younger, but they still lurk under the surface of my mind while im sleeping. in some dream or the next they are there. I have a vampire prayer i say before i go to bed. if i dont say it i feel as if im missing out on something.
" Goodnight dear vampires, may you feed well and sleep well, may you enjoy the plunders of blood rushing through your body..." Thats a little part of it Its a odd thing to do before going to bed but it comforts me in doing so.

every night i have dreams of vampires or demons. i don't consider them to be nightmares. i would only consider them to be one if i were actually afraid to death from them, but im not. they're pretty cool

I don't think I have ever dreamed of vampires or demons. I also can't recall any recurrent dreams.

The scariest dreams I have had revolve around me doing something that put myselves or others in jeapordy. Crashing a car, pissing off a criminal, that sort of thing.

I have been having the same dream every night for many months... A man clothed in all black behind the door or lurking in the shadows of my room ...Holding out his hand and the most I have ever heard him say is Patience my love.

i dream every time about vampires...the most reccurring dream i seem to have is taking blood from someones wrist and feeling a large amount of power within myself...then for some reason i end up waking up on the floor of my bedroom!

I wouldn't say that I have ever had nightmares or dreams about vampyres; however, I did have nightmares about demons when I was younger. I haven't had them in quite some time though.

Kind of a weird story for me - I used to dream often of vampires until I joined VR.

None of them were repeated, though I remember one that was quite powerful. I remember seeing a lot of teals, aquas, lavenders, purples, and blues - but not necessarily black. I was being held captive in a beautifully ornate mansion by a band of vampires, though I don't remember actually ever seeing one in this dream.

At one point, when I tried to escape the mansion, the large room I was in was suddenly filled with water, seaweed, and became very blue-toned. I remember seeing black hair flowing past as I swam, as if the vampires holding me captive were trying to block my way.

Eventually I came out of the water to the door leading outside, and was able to get out.

It was night, and very dark save for a single lamp post at the foot of the stair leading to the front door of this mansion. It looked very similar to architecture in New Orleans, Louisiana. I couldn't help but think, though, that I wasn't away from the vampires in this dream. Then I woke.

That is the last dream I think I've ever had explicitly related to vampires. I have never become a vampire in my dreams nor have I ever been bitten by one, but I do know that the dreams I have had with vampires in them pertains to them either chasing me or holding me captive.

vampires do not visit my dreams... most of my dreams i attribute to a very senitive psychi that holds onto images that i see or think about previously.

i cannot say i have dreamt of monsters either.. except for maybe the mutant mutant ninja turtle (yes double mutant because its skin/shell was acidic so that you could kick and punch and do all the ninja moves but only end up with burns all over your body). in other words it cannot be defeated through hand to hand combat. in this dream i have no weapons and am running around an old library and am trapped inside...

i have had that dream every few years and it still leaves me wondering what it meant.

My dreams are littered with vampires. I think my mind is just so obsessed with them that it can't be helped. Sometimes the dreams revolve around them but most often it's just that I am aware that a person in the dream is a vampire but it is a passive trait.
Some of my most interesting dreams are when the vampires feed.

I have been bitten by vampires in my dreams. One was close to two years ago, the other was almost one year ago.

Lately I have no idea if I have even dreamt about them

Vampires are in my dreams a lot. There are many deeper meaning to this I am sure... but, I know that I spend a great deal of time reading of vampires, somewhat living the Vampiric life, and also a great deal of time on VR. I try not to read in to them too much, the thaughts consume a large part of my days; why not my nights?

I dream about so many things and usually remember them. But then I was trained at a very early age to control my dreams as part of the training to become a dream walker so I suppose that gives me a leg up in some ways. I have had to learn to let go of that control at times. And admit when I do lol I have the most intresting dreams.. they at times will send me screaming to wake up .. but since i am not in control I love them.

But yeah I dream of vampires often.. but I put it down to just like dreaming of people.. its what i am.. what i know so I dream of it.

I have never had dreams about vampires persay, but I have had intense dreams about biting people and draining them of blood, then waking up and I have the taste of blood in my mouth or I have a bite on the inside of my mouth..

I've had many dreams of vampires. They go in order.. like a movie or book.

I dream about blood and taking victims as a vampire. The clothing is 18th century.

I thank you courageously that you have brought up this question. For some reason I have had dreams of vampires, yes, but I dream about fighting them. Mind you, I have had this many, many times and scared of it. The scary thing is a lot of people choose to become of such things.

I have nightmares where I wake up screaming but can't remember what it is about. I also talk in my sleep but its Ukrainian so no-one knows what I'm talking about

I do have one dream that I always remember, I have it a lot. There's a plain white pillow with a smooth grey big rock on it, the sort of thing you find at the seaside. This rock seems perfect. Then it suddenly is covered in scribbles from a marker pen. Then its back to smooth and perfect ... boring huh

i frequently dream i'm being stalked by one or more of the Gigeresque xenomorphs from the Alien quintet. i try to run and hide, but it slowly tears through the thickest metal doors and hatches - nothing stops it. it (or they sometimes) is usually slow and ready to hibernate - but there is no escape.

I have not had a reoccuring vampire dream, but I have had a dream that I turn into a mermaid since I was a child. The odd thing is that my eldest daughter also has the same dream.

I have one dream that is reoccurring. I have had it since I was a little girl. I am always surrounded by demons and other supernatural beings. Its never scary just bizarre.

Ive had dreams of being possesed every so often but never about Vampires. I would call this a nightmare seeing how I kill the ones I love. Its been goin on for about 3 or 4 YEARS now.

i get those dreams often to the point i'm curious if they aren't dreams but are actually me fighting the demons trying to enter my mind.

I have had various dreams about Vampires. I noticed while reading posts that some folks remember the setting of the dream to be in Louisiana, or New Orleans style. I too have had this type of descriptive dreams.I do attribute it to reading Ann Rice books before going to bed. I have red and reread her books! Also, for those who have trouble recalling their dreams, try keeping a pad of paper near the bed. When you wake, grab the paper and (try lol ) to write down what you remember. Then refer to a dream dictionary for explanations! I do it quite often. It is fun trying to read the scribble! :)

i always dream of a slender, built man dressed in black standing under a streetlight on a rainy night.

i sit on a bench watching him watch the people walk by. then he falls prey on a homeless man, or someone.

I had dreams of vampires and other kin from a young age.since my own awakening the dreams have become frequent and more intense,usually involving facing humans having a go when they see what i am.then i get the romantic ones,where i,m with a beautiful vampire lady,soaring through the clouds.

Well, I had an interesting visitor 2 years ago, who was within my dreams and reality for about a year...
In that time, I had three kinds of dreams, one been a psy, second been a sanguine and third been a succubi vampire... All of that three versions of dreams were periodically changing...
From these dreams I would always wake at dawn, in dreams I would be in some strange place near some stone gates, after his words:" You must wait, your time hasn't come yet..."

I dont have dreams OF vampires or demons persay. But I do have a repeating nightmare of 4 years of being possessed but knowing what is happening and not being able to control my body. "I" go around and kill all of my best friends in horrid ways. I wake in tears every night.

I have had several recurring dreams. Sometimes about vampires, sometimes about fire and blood. It's strange at times, because those are the dreams that I actually remember and think about the next day.

i actually have had nightmares for consecutives 4 days now., its kinda weird and scary.. in my dreams, i always drink and drink hundreds of people's blood.. i felt the blood crawling and sipping into my veins, and the satisfaction that it do to me..

dreams like this dont occur very often in my life, but when i have them,they are a bit shaded and I am always the vampire. Most of the time i am being hunted, what is not very funny.

I, myself, have had dreams... Many, many dreams of all sorts... what kind of dreams are you having? What are they about?

I have had re-occurring dreams all of my life. There are one or more dreams that I remember having as a young child. And yes they where about vampires or demons. The odd thing is that at that age I did not know what such things were. I have also had dreams that I can feel, smell, taste etc… just as if I were awake. And there have many times that I have waked with cuts and burses on my body that I cannot explain. That still happens to me even now. But the ones I remember crystal clear are the ones of my burning. And every time I have had this dream I wake up screaming and over heating. Once a man I was with asked me I could smell some thing burning. I had never told of that dream, and he still does not know of it. So are these “dreams” memories of past lives or perhaps my own mind making me feel this way? I really don’t know.

hmm, well lately i have had dreams of vampiric nature but not really a reoccuring one. I find those dreams quite interesting also, but I love them all the same because of it.

i dont dream alot been when i do it seems that wolves are always in my dreams. the dreams always make their way around to where a wolf becomes part of the dream.

When I was younger I had a lots of dreams about a certain teenage vampire. Back then all of my dreams were continuous- and they picked up where they last left off. Sometimes even now I have a reoccuring dream that won't stop until I understand what it meant.

I have countless dreams of vampires, especially this specific looking one, a tall pale blue eyed male who comes to me near my bed, and all i could do is stare up at him its like i cant move, then he kisses me and kisses down my neck and before he could bite me i wake up >_

I use to have a lot of dreams of vampires when I was younger I attribute most of it to my fascination about them. Now I dream mostly of things going on in life or those closest to me.

I've had reocurring dreams.sometimes they happen night after night.and sometimes they are spaced out.but I dream the same dream and I know it's trying to tell me something about things that will happen in the future and the next day.

Many, many times...

usually the only time i remember my dreams is when they are a premonition. Also, usually when my dreams reoccur, they are memories from a past life, brought forward into my mind by something that may have happened in my current life.

I have many dreams revolving around vampires and werewolves and other things. I usually have complete control over my dreams, but when I dream that I am the vampire I lose that control altogether. Those dreams take place in the gothic time line when people dressed in elegant clothing and nothing modern. I've been told that I have a vampyric ancestor dated then so who knows.

i like to dream about everything that is evil but most of all is vampire i love it hehe

It's not like I can pick and choose what I want to dream about. I have had a few dreams about bllod and a big thirst for it. What in the world does that mean?? I do not consider myself as a vampire.

Dreams can mean a host of different things,for starters some of the dark blood can dream travel that is just our way of keeping a eye on thoes we care about.Somtimes dreams can be just that a dream we tend to put alot more meening to them when there is no meening. I would suggest for all pepole interested in tis subject to read all they can on dreams and there meenings there are a host of books out there on this subject will be posting a list soon.

i had dreams before about vampires and its a bit scary because a certain vampire (and he's a man) chased me in a dark place and i can't get away from him... well he captured me and just as he sank his teeth into my neck, i suddenly woke up!

Dreaming of vampires and demons is wonderful to me. I love to dream of these creatures. After I wake from a dream of a vampire, I feel energized and well rested. . . . . ready to take on the world.

I had a lot of them durring the awakening process and now i know why i was having them. visions or waking dreams they woould be like flashbacks. in the begining it was really hard to control.

Recurring dreams are just a result of your mind not letting you forget something. I know mortals who have them and I do too. A very common thing within the mind if you will.

One of the most interesting dreams of a vampire I had was one I wrote about in my journal almost 2 years ago. It stands out because (and I will make this short) in the dream she bit my neck and it felt so feel. When I awoke there were marks on my neck!

I have been having the same dream every night for six months... Sometimes I wonder if it really is a dream, or is he really in my room... It is a man and he just stands in the shadow and extends his hand. He has the most intriguing eyes and long hands and all he ever says is patience my love. then he is gone.

Well dreams like those usally are your thoughts during the day turning into a mental picture in your mind as you sleep and as your mind filters through files "memories" if there has been something that happened in your life/past consisting of your dreams it might be that it will happen again or a secondary form of what happened will occure!! However I have had dreams consisting of Vamprye and Lycans and none of which have ever turned out to be wonderful but then again never have been nightmares either!!! Great Post

I have a few reoccuring dreams that have persisted since childhood, and sometimes I won't have a certain dream for years and then it's back. Demons, vampires, name it, I've dreamt it.

I've been dreaming about this one short vampire dream.All it is..,
is this Elder,master vampire standing in the streets of london,at night in the rain.He grabs me from behind and whispers somthing in my ear in another language..and I can't understand him.He kneels down by a tiney river flowing on the side street,and the rain turns to blood.I would dream this almost everynight.
And dreams about elder vamps underground in Mexico,in this anchient temple..hummming or singing to an ejyptian goddess.
Once I drempt about the devil in pit of lava..for an entire week!

Never really have dreams of vampires or demons. In most of my dreams I'm running from something or I'm falling from what I don't remember.

On occasion I have vampires in my dreams, either as a vampire or watching from the sidelines, even being attacked by one. I have ones with werewolves or lycans and with demons as well.. some are to be taken seriously, could be you are under threat of attack or being stalked.. either way its how you feel about the dream whether you feel threatened or just simply entertained.

I have such dreams all the time. Some of them actually wind up being kind of funny.

It's a wonder you're still alive. I got visited by a succubus once. A pleasant experience, but once I woke up and realized what had happened, eh, not so much. Damn life force sucking spawn of evil.
