I am very sensitive when it comes to old houses , I can tell there are spirits or have been spirits there. Does any one Believe u can feel them by the coldness in the house or cold spots? Or do you believe that u can see them as animals can . They do say animals see things we dont.

People who are in an advanced state of awareness can often feel spirits when they are around. Some people rely on physical means more often to tell when spirits are around, which is why you may feel cold spots. Others simply go by what they feel mentally.

I agree with RavenEyes on this matter, but i have always been able to see and speak with spirits. I don't really see it as a curse, because i've always had this gift. I can speak as easily to celestial beings, otherworldly creatures, and the like just as easily as I can with humans.

I can feel them. I know spirits are around me from relatives that have passed over.

I have never been able to sense spirits but it is true animals can see things we cant. i had a dog that could pick up on that and I was always able to tell when a spirit was nearby by the way he would act

Yeah animals and especially children. My oldest son sees spirits all the time. I used to see them a lot also but I prayed for it to go away and it did. I can still feel when spirits are around but I haven't seen one in years.

I used to see some horrible images.

I know that my son, when he was younger, would look off into a particular corner and laugh like crazy. He was definitely seeing something I wasn't.

I've always envied that ability though to be honest, if I saw a spirit I'd probably be scared to death. There is one room here where I work ,however, that I avoid when I can. I just feel very wrong in there, like it isn't safe. I'm sure that there is something there.

Maybe some of us lose the ability or sense as we age.

I can always tell if a place is "haunted", for lack of a better word. Some times I can just feel it. Other times I see things or hear things. My doc says I'm crazy but all the meds they put me on never change a damn thing. I still see, hear and feel things that ohers can not.

I've never experienced spirits firsthand myself (guess they were all asleep during my last nocturnal visit to the old cemetary), although one colleague was stopped by woman she didn't know who spoke of someone in the colleague's family who had passed away some time ago, the usual person's doing alright, looking down on you, don't worry sort of thing.. she seemed pretty shook up about it, although not in a bad way.

I feel when they are around. I've never seen any but I do feel them.

My mind is open on the subject and I've had some ticklings at the edge of my cynicism, but I'm not convinced one way or the other at this point.

It is possible to sens the spirits, sometimes even justbefore entering the room, it happens to me often, I am cusre like someone already said (lol) with this gift or burden, the only thing tho is the cold spot or the coldness, I have heard so do feel that, I dont sorry, but it is possible I wont deny that.

yea this is kina a strang thing for me but I have spoke to spirits and felt them touch me sveral times.... I am not sure how to stop this from happening to me or some of the other strange things that go on but I have learnt to deal with this.

I firmly believe that older houses have a tendency to have more spirits, if you will. A residence tends to take on the"essence" of the people who lived there. If there was violence, there would be more a chance the spirit of the person wronged would reside there. Perhaps if they don't realize they are dead, this would make them more violent. There is much to say on this subject. My best advice is, if you are experiencing spirits in your home, and it makes you uncomfortable, I would definitely perform a cleansing ritual for starters. Then, I would try to contact the spirit, and explain that they are dead, and may move on into the light to be with loved ones. There is tons of literature on the subject! The world is at your fingertips online!!

Most deff you can feel a spirit...sometimes they make themselves known more than us as the living lol

we dont have the same sense as animals so we reconize them though cold sopts. sorry my spelling sucks

animals do see spirits a lot better than humans. i guess their minds are not populated by daily chores and norms as well as ethical standards. they are like babies who care for nothing but surviving.

Until I encounter someone CREDIBLE that has come into contact with one I won't believe. I have been in numerious places that have claimed hauntings by spirits. I felt nothing unusual. I think, once again, the power of suggestion is coming into play.

I personally see them. I have been in old houses that had nothing there and then houses that did have a spirit present. A friend of mine and I were chased away from once. :)

I have definitely seen them and felt them. I've even talked with them. But the worst thing for me is when you can feel their pain and anger. It's damaging.

Yes, I believe that you can. I have had many experiences myself with feeling the presence of and even speaking with ghosts. The two houses that I have lived in throughout my life, have been haunted. The first one that I had lived in before, was haunted by not so friendly ghosts. While living there, I have seen them, which to me looked like a family. I had also felt really cold presence in the rooms that I was in and even had a chair come rolling after me with no one behind it!! I was about 7 years old when this happened at about 1:30 in the morning! So, I was really scared about that!lol I have also been haunted by them through many nights, where I would scream at them to leave me alone, because they were really scaring me. They did leave after I would ask them to, but still, it was not fun! They had also said to me and my mom, to "get out!" and "your not welcome here!" Freaky huh?
The house that I am living in now is haunted by my step-great grandmother and great grandfather. They are very sweet people, that we don't mind having in the house with us!!;) Sometimes, when we walk into the kitchen, we suddenly smell fresh baking buns, only my mom never cooked anything at all! I would also sometimes get this sour, farmer man smell come while working outside! Well, I found out later that, my Grandma loved making buns all the time and my Grandpa always smelled that way after coming in from the fields on a hard days work.

I used to hear my grandma's voice in her bedroom after she passed telling us to come and get some candy. She always kept chocolate kisses for us when we would come over and she would keep them in her room so no one else would eat them.

I think everone can sense spirits more or less. I have not seen a ghost but I have had some creepy experiences with spirits.

My close friend sees and deals with spirits on a daily basis so she is worse off than me.

i think spirits can present themselves in whatever way they wish i have seen certain spirits and felt like certain animals were someone that ive known that has passed and also seen them in human form as well

I see them once in a while-but you never know...maybe I'm crazy...but I truly had many incidents with my cat...It really sees things that scare her...:-
I never believed in ghosts...until things started to happen.But that might happen cuz of my imagination since I started to watch a programme in National Geographic(yea,I'm a geek).

Seeing spirits is the easy part... getting to the point where they no longer haunt you at every turn, no longer do all that they cal to make their presence known

i see them sometiems but mostly i feel them. and when ever im at hom ewith my cat... if i feel something. I judge whetehr or not its real by her reaction. and most of the time she is alert and looking around when i sense something. i think that animals have abetter more honed ability to see and feel things than we do but at the same time we can sharpen our skills to be better. and animals cant.

As I always say. . . It's different for everyone. I have felt temperature changes, seen them, heard them, etc. It's awesome to know when they are around. I love to interact with them. *smiles*

I have worked in a Cemetary. I have found some spirits that like me to see them or hear the. I have also found a num,ber of them that try to cause harm or try and warn away.

I think it dpends on a numberr of factors if they appear.

1) How sensitive the person is to spiritual energy

2) Does the spirit want you to see them

3) Do you beleive in spirits

4) Does the spirit think you can help/harm them

Well sometimes I get a erie feel when it comes to my house , my house was built by my grandfather , and my dad. This house is at least 40 years old. I have seen things that cannot be explained and felt like someone was watching me many times.

Me, I sense and can feel them and have been able too, since I was very young.Some people can see them and can feel the cold spots.I know animals can see them and I believe children can to a certain age.Then what we teach them changes that, because of reality or everyone saying they do not exist, so they loose the belief.

Yes, animals do have a 6th sence to this kind of thing, but most of the people have met and also including myself we use cold spots or electrical disterbances in the area. Some people can pick these things up with out using instruments that are sensative to these changes, but others have to.

Spirits can be scary at first but once yu realize that they maybe trying to tell you omething it goes a lot better...Opening yourself to try to understand them is a great thing...Don't ever clse your third eye.

I believe they are out there every once in awhile I cent sense them by the way my whole body shudders its like the pass threw me for some reason or other to let their presence known

Being Piscean we are supposed to be naturally sensitive to the spirit world, and as for me I often sense spirits are around me. I have been known to talk to them too! The spirits of those I loved are the best as I feel them live inside of my heart.

The other spirits get know by me down at the pub on a Friday night ;)

I have always been able to sense spirits. Not by cold spots, but just through some sort of mental awareness. And, I also see them in my dreams. My grandfather has brought me several messages through my dreams. He has guided me in times of need and helped me locate things that were lost.

yes. animals can see things that the naked human eye can not. have you ever watch a dog run around the house alone then stop and the hair on its back stand on end? i think you have to be careful with the whole cold spots thing. yes, sometimes it can indicate a spirit but you have to be aware of your surroundings. if you walk into a room and are suddenly cold by the door then ok by the back walk. look up. was there a vent blowing cold air your way? debunk as much stuff as you can before you go around saying that an area is haunted. at least, thats what i do.

Sense? Yes. Physically see or feel or understand no... matter of factly that should be something quite hard to tap into....

i can 60 percent of the time till if there is a present mostly at night you eith yeah can feel a cold spot of sometimes see stuff move of feel a touch to you which is pernornign

I agree that animals can see spirits. Some people can also, but it is easier to sense them.I totally agree with you on that one. Some cold spots are legitimately spirits, and some manifest themselves with cold drafts. Not a good word, but the meaning is still there. Certain spirits just come and go. Others remain in older houses for instance. I agree that certain people can feel them, as do aminals. Good discussion!

I definately think you can feel spirits and ghosts. The cold spots that you talk about are pretty standard when it comes to places that are haunted. Especially when the temp drops 15 degrees or so in just one spot for no known reason.

You can definetly hear, see, and sense a spirit or any other creature of that nature. If you'd like you can read my journal and it gives somewhat of an example of spirits.

The spirits are there i can see them when certain condition are met can even hear them.. You can call it a curse or a gift since i personal cant control when i can see them or not or hear them or not

I have been on several ghost walks thru houses and am used as a medium on these occasions.Most diffinately there are cold spots, vortexs,memories the house holds or simply those who have come back to say hello or feel a part of the house.
Animals very much so can see spirits, have had several animals in my life that follow something thru my old house in England, that i could not see.

I also believe in spirits. I can't believe that the only thing you can see is what you see. You can feel it as well. Just because you can't see something dosen't mean it doesn't exsist. Some believe in it more then others. There are good and bad spirits. Good usualy just leave you be trying not to disturb you but some how end up doing something you will notice.

I believe if you run into a bad spirit you need to find a way to either live with it or get it out telling it you don't wish it harm at the same time you don't with it there.

I beleive anyone whether human or animal can sense a presence if they clear their mind and open themselves to it. There arehowever some who simply just dont want to believe it either because they are scared or simply do not want to beleive. I myself wa lucky to be biorn to a mother who is a medium and im currently living in a 170 year old house which has the presence of two children, Alice who is 9 and Jack who is 11 both, jack says both were poisened by a well that used to exist in my next door neighbors garden that apparently was like a village green teh only way the members of this part of the town were able to get water without walking for miles.

I love the other side to life it completes me

I had one experience of spirits,I was walking through the graveyard of the church i used to attend in my childhood/teenlife.on my way home from the opening night of the bath international festival,may 1996.I got to the top of gy next to the carpark,when i saw something very strange,across from me was a campfire and four girls in elizabethan style clothing dancing round it.there was a dwarf like man placing a conseteener type instrument as they danced.one of the girls saw me and stopped and then gave me the come here finger.I then ran home.the next day i took the same root walking to college.the spot in the graveyard where they had been,no signs of campfire,just two massive gravestones.my parents also lived in a house in plymouth before i was born,that every christmas a nun would walk round the bed at night,one time actually walked up behind my dad.apparently someone died in that bedroom.a nun had nursed them before they died.

I most definitely believe that you can sence spirits. I've even felt spirits from old houses and graveyards when I've jogged by them.

I have never really seen a spirit, but i have feel them around all the time. You could walk into a room and it would feel fine and then all of a sudden you would feel a cold presence and i believe thats how spirits also try to communicate with us.

As for see them... I have only seen one that was my mom and was in a bad time of my life... but as for feeling them yes i have some times its more stronger than others and generaly I can feel where there good or bad... It just really depends on your depth of awarness I think... I have been in houses to where the feeling so strong its hard to stay in there very long!

The home I grew up in was built on the site of a civil war cemetary. I have lived with spirits of the dead all my life. I have seen their deaths created over and over night after night I have sat in my bed and heard of their lives many times. I have felt the cold and the lonely even the anger at being taken so young or for leaving so much left undone. Their was always a cold spot in the center of our home. It didnt matter if it was 100 in the shade it was cold in the den of our house. As if this is where they came to rest.

My own house is Haunted, and I know that the spirit is nearbye when my little brothers room grows either very hot or very cold. I can sense a spirit in my room too. I live in my basement, so I always keep the heater up to very high temperatures. If my room is unbearably cold...well....
If I go into another's home which is haunted, I would be able to tell, but not as easily as my own home.

Have always felt spirits, smelled certain scents, sense where there at, felt cold spots, and seen shadows and glowing figures. Don't always like dealing with them though.

Yes they can see what we can't but we are also able to sense them, for ex. when you are in a old house and in a certain part you feel your spine tingle or all of the sudden you get a quick cold shiver, that's the presence of a spirit or demon.

My house is very old, and the kids used to have a play room down stairs. once in awhile, they would freak out and come running upstairs. They would be shrieking and laughing. They said they could feel cold air and see shadows. We all would go back down to look around. I never acted frightened, and my kids got used to it.They spent more time down there than me, I just did laundry down there. They informed me that we have a cat ghost down there also. This had slipped my mind, but my daughter reminded me about it at lunch the other day!!

Yes, i do believe that if a dog can see it, why should you not be able to? Hone your senses, work on your intuitions, learn to trust yourself, and you could be the infinite.

I believe that sometimes you can see a spirit and sometimes you just feel them. But for me it's not so much a cold feeling as it is a feeling that you are no longer alone. Heck sometimes I even hear them.... I can't always understand them but I hear them.

That is how i started to sense the dead. Via Clairaudience, via hearing.

I believe cold spots are spirits using energy to manifest in our dimension from there’s, as the energy transforms it feels cold, most just manage to be a ball of light.

Sometimes i will get this heavy feeling when something really bad has happened in a certain place. i feel a presence and other times i can hear voices trying to talk to me it is cool!

I have been to many places like that. I don't stay though. I get creeped out too much. My husband thinks it is cool. We have never had a good experience if I have felt "that way" at a hotel so he trusts me to pick the right one.. :)

Cats can sense when some place is haunted.and i think you can feel the sensation when one is close enough to you.

I belive very strongly in this, as i personally do feel if there is a spirit in the vacinity, however i have also taken steps to train my self to talk to as well as see them

I believe in both. Cold spots are real and so is seeing the spirit.

I belive some people can feel them and some people can see them but very few ca do both I can first comes the feeling that our own soul is traped then they appear and they are either courious or they are surching for help to get to the next world but they can't do it on their own because they need everyone to know who their killer(s) are so they can be set free to move on and some ghost needs to know they are dead and that there is know reason they should stay in this world and suffer loss you just need to approch careful so not to startel tham and try to figure out what is wrong and then try to help them you will be rewarded in the end trust me

I can feel them. Even more so when I am around old houses or close to gravesites. I can also feel my uncle that died all of a sudden in my aunts home that was over 10 years ago.
Ghost

i always know when a spirit is with me i feel there presents and i will somtimes see them i think if you can see them they want to be seen

I believe aswell; that some people can see, speak with, feel, hear, sense, ect. Spirits and the like..

I have only spoken with spirits once. I have only been able to see them at certain times; but I could always sense, and sometimes hear them. Though I have never felt cold spots.. I suppose I have never needed to, though.

I don't feel them either, but I can always sense something is there.

Sometimes when I lived in an old house during my childhood, my friend and I (both Piscean) always felt a presence on the stairs, that was pretty eerie as the feeling of someone being there was pretty strong.

spirits ghost .. yeah i feel them i fear some of them welcome others an bleive in all of them..

why i even think one wanted to help me in my saddness.. but when they touched me i freeked out.

sometime after my grandmother died there was coldness in some spots of the house and I also saw her outside and inside the house.....she looked lost

I believe that animals can see things we cannot - the lady who owned our house before my family was said to have died in the room which is now my bedroom - it is always cold in there and my dog won't settle like she will in the rest of the house. Even my ex-bf was scared 2 b in there!

I also think there are many ways in which we feel spirits with us - coldness and cold spaots are just a couple. Sometimes i sense someone is watching me, or following me - but when i turn round there's no one there. I have also seen dark shadows - then turned around and nothing was there. Sceptics may say it's my imagination running away with me but i truly belive that there are many ways in which we can feel spirits around us.

It is well known and documented that animals are far more sensitive than humans. However many humans can have those same sensitivities. I have on occasion sense or felt a presence, even been physically touched by a presence so its all possible and we all experience these things individually.

The presents of a spirit gives off an aura which can be felt on an emotional level and not so much a physical one however this sensativety varies depending on the type of spirit you have come into contact with. you can often feel what the spirit is feeling and often times as a result determine if it is bad or good.

I can feel them but not to the extent that others can. My boyfriend can see them and he always tells me when there is a spirit near us. He wants me to see them, too.
