Some people really believe in vampires, others are obsessed with the myth, so I would like to know your feelings. Do you really believe in them, or is it just myth?

I honestly do believe in them

i believe in them... there are ancient stories in different places... even south america, where i live... that talk about vampires.. .or people who drank the blood of others...
of course the telling of the stories from one person to other, all these thousand of years have made the myth grow... but even in Europe, in places like Serbia, there are stories about vampires... and if somebody talks to that people, they can confirm the truth of them...

I do not believe yet. I like to keep my options open until proven otherwise through experience.

i believe to some point that they exist. Psy's for sure. As for others I am not sure.

I don't believe in modern vampires - The bloodsucking, night loving, variety. I believe that some people are vampires at heart... That they love the allure of the myth and really have a strong vampiric aura.

I have always loved the stories of vampires from around the world... The superstitions and the medical explanations that follow. I believe at some point, in the ancient world, perhaps vampires or something like them used to exist.

I truly believe that Vampires are real.

I do believe that vampires exist. Just not the kind of vampires that are in the movies. That is not possible.

For some reason, I think this would work better in the sandbox ... no I don't believe in vampires.

What intrest me about vampires is the same thing with other Para Existence there is a strong following of fiction based writtings that have historical relavince
so some even if vampires don't exist the presence created by notional believes to project believable support that they do indeed exist.When a person shows no heart rate I guess they could just as well be zombie which I believe are more likely to exsist then vampires ...Immortals (the group that claims they arepossesors of the person that drank from the faontain of youth are centurians that stage their own deaths and use the same initials and last name all their funds are in foundations they are a uber society that even their caretakers are hush hush...So vampires i shudder if indeed they exist but as a metaphor .... notable are those that play the role well

I don't believe in the fictional sort but I do believe they exist in some form or another.

depends on what you consider real in turns of vampires/vampyres.. yes i believe in vampyres.

To me it is hard NOT to Believe in them with history and myth that has span many centuries .. so somewhere it seems that they may of been real at some point... even now. So yes I do believe in them

I believe that vampires exsist yes. But the magical powers and alluring presence I'm not so sure about. I've met some very ugly 'vampires' in my day.

I honestly believe that vampyres exist. Though I am unsure of what exactly they can do, as far as abilities go, I have faith that they exist.

i think most are infatuated with all the vampiric myths and tales even those who are and believe i notice tend to lean towards the romantic notion of the fairy tales,i know for a fact there are real vampires but it's not always as pleasant or enjoyable as the legends make it seem.

I don't believe in vampires as they are described in fiction and myth. I do know that people who live the vampire lifestyle are real though.

I beleive that in some way it is possible that vampires exsist. I do not beleive that they are the types that exsist in the books and movies as some do but I beleive.

i belive in them this world is a very complex place and there are places we have not even explored yet so why not belive

I think it is a myth. Modern vampire are folks that feel they want to drink blood, may even have a need, like a pica syndrome, but overall its a myth.

I do believe in vampires, in a sense. I believe in the lifestyle rather than the traditional reanimated corpses.

I think that there are people out there with a dissorder were not enough blood is in there body. and yes they do need blood, but drinking blood can kill you.
I think that there are people out there who so much as want to believe, and they tell themselves that vampires are real that there mind begings to believe it.
I think that people in a sense are sick, sick to the point of actually thinking they could be better than anyone else.
what makes one be able to say that they are better, stonger? Wiser? Then any "human" Vampires, are simply a way of life that man made up and people took to it, sorta like the bible. But the bibe is true. (sorry it was an example)
I used to believe i was a vampire, i really did. I used to drink blood and all that stuff, till i got sick. My doc. told me that my body was getting too much blood in it, and that it wasnt good. Your body cant digest blood. Its why if u drink it there is blood in your poop.
I know this is going to make people hate me, but its truth. People who "THINK" vampires are real to the point of thinking they are one, only told themselves they where. You cant bite someone and drink there blood give them yours and they become one, because humans cant digest blood, and no venum can come in human teeth. (my dad is a dentist)

Some may say they were awakened, but maybe your just...sick in the head. If im pissing you off find me and proove me wrong, BUT that cant happen because you cant turn me. also, they say that vamps kill people right? well where do the bodys go? have u ever though of that. Vamps would be all over the news of animals showing up, dead, and millions of them would exist now days so why dont they. Why dont the meat places get more business the the point of being on the news. its all to...fiction for me.

yes, i do. i've met a few in my lifetime. if there ever comes a day where the mirror does not catch all that is in the room, your life will be forever changed. i'm rather empirical in my belief system and i absolutely need proof to be solely convinced of such, and i have been given proof.

i expect no one else to take me seriously, this was a personal event in my lifetime, and i cherish it as such.

I believe in Vampires both san. and psi. as well. I know they are no where like how hollywood has made them out to be. I know several who live the life of a vampire drinking blood and feeding from energy as well. So yes I believe in them.

I believe anything is possible. Hollywood's version is just that .. hollywood. Look at all of the other movies they throw out there, when have they ever really made something that is completely true to life? I think, fiction aside, that they exist to some degree ... still figuring out to what degree that is though

I dont believe it is a nice fantasy and i love the folklore and the whole sexuality of the stories, but to me thats all they are nice stories

i don't really believe in teh supernatural vampire, but i really love reading about the background myths, and learning how they came together or orginated. idiot's guide to vampires is full of stuff like that, its awesoem. (book)

I believe in vampirism.

I believe that yes there are vampires like psi and sang. but not like what Hollywood has made them out to be. In real life vampires are much different and the best someone can do is find a vampire bar and hope you can get in and not attacked in some way for being there and not being a vampire.But I have and always will beleive in vampires for one simple reason and that reason is on my profile if any wish to take a look at it.

I like to belive in the whole myth, but I don't believe in the fictional character. I would shit myself if I walked out in the night and met "Dracula". I'm pretty sure that would suck (no pun intended).

I question a persons reasons for believing,but never belittle them their beliefs.Some base their belief on personal bases others base them on popular opinion.

People that go with fads will believe something else in a month or two,or question their commitment to it.Some will even start a spin-off from the main group.

I personally respect the first example.Posers (any faddies)are never original,they spew rhetoric,and are likely to be victims subject to notional persecution.

Vampires lived in the mists of folklore and then Bram Stoler made them famous. And not long ago Anne Rice ignited the spark that exploded in multiple books and movies, each with their slant on the character of vampires, the suave sexy 20th century vamp. And then the vampires began to get real in live action roll play games, the players started to become their characters. And the "real Vampyre" was born, with fangs custom made and FX contact lenses. They became the vampyre community, and created the "Black Veil" as a set of suggestions to avoid psychopathic behavior, to make things safe for "sanguinarian" vampyres, and the rest of the the population.
There are Vampires and Vampyres, reality is blurred,and they are all very real. This is only a glimpse of the truth, more remains.

I do believe in them, but not as the movie theatres do....i feel that there is a lot of micconceptions about them.

I do think they are around. Yes many people have problems if they have to much blood in there system. But there are truths in even what goes on in that case.

Still the myth might have started the modern one. But it is nothing like the living ones out there. Given that I know a psy.

If you mean the vampires in books and movies that are imortal and actually have died, no I think they are fictional.

I think that there are people who believe themselves to be vampires and believe that they gather energy from others through drinking their blood or psychically.

I think that Psy vampires can exist. There was actually a show on the history channel about them. They proved they could exist by using a type of photography used in the military.

The story behind the "werewolf" dates back to an epidemic of rabies a long time ago and the symptoms of that disease follows the traits of a werewolf to a T. This being stated perhaps something similar is where the origin of vampires came from. I know that there are people in the world who require constant intake of plasma to keep them going and some that produce too much blood and have to "blood let" from time to time... perhaps the stories of vampirism are variations of these diseases.

I believe in vampires. When I was little I met someone then when I turned around like two seconds later the guy was gone.. it was scary.. and oddly enough he wanted the little white cat I was petting but he said I could have her...

many myths are invented to explain that which is too difficult to understand but they are based somewhat in reality. After being here for 3 years, I have come to believe vampires do exist, I am not one of them but i may not have been awakened yet. Yes i love the mythos and the movie images but the reality is equally facinating. Vampires or Vampyres are very real in my opinion.

For me, it is the romanticism. The dark figure in the shadows, lurking behind me, making my blood quicken.
In our daily lives, most of us exist in the mundane. Nothing exciting ever happens. So to live for just a moment in the thrill of the thought...that is the appeal of vampires to me.

Hmmmm, well there are certainly a bunch of different opinions on this matter. It is my own belief that people who do drink blood and call themselves "mortal blood drinkers" are obsessed with the idea of vampirism and blood drinking. But, I do however believe in the psy vampyres, becasue there have been many cases that prove that they could actually be real. my advise is to read "Vampires: The Occult Truth" by Konstantinos. There is a lot of information in his book, and you might find your opinion being changed.

I believe in psychic vampires and believe that some blood fetishists have a thirst and lust for blood that make them de facto vampires.

They don't sleep in coffins or wear capes, but the blood lust is there.

Here it, I believe. I believe because there is a lot of mysterious yet pro belief (evidence of vampires) and so until I officially know otherwise, on solid evidence that there are no vampires or NEVER was ...yeah...I am going to continue to believe. I've never seen a REAL dinosaur but we all know something was there wayyyy long ago. Just because we don't dig up things, there are other forms of proof for many things.

i don't know that i believe in vampires.. now Werebeasts/men are a diff story.. there are SO many prevalent legends about them, it's hard to ignore.. almost every culture from every part of the world (including modern myths in places like the PI and singapore) mentions someone that can turn into some kind of animal under some kind of condition.. hard to ignore...

I really do believe that there are all different sorts of vampires out there. I don't believe in the immortal ones of myth but I do believe that there are vampires who possibly can live a bit longer then the average human and that do have more heightened senses then most other people.

i would like to say i belive in vampires,, i think all things are possible,, the myth vampires im not sure,, because they have been blown so much out of propation that its hard to tell what is fact and what is not,, i have met some people who claim they are vampires but personaly i found them to be poseers and that was be fore i found the rave

True, there isn't anything that has proven vampires to not exist. I believe there some things out there in this world that people just aren't meant to understand.

I believe in what I can experiance, I do believe ther is more to life then can be explained in simplistic terms, but as for vampires running around in the romatisized notion of things, no....I know there are bad things and things that go bump in the night but i have yet to exeperiance a vampire.
