When the cousin that my lil brother is close to passed away in a car wreck. My lil brother didn't know it happen at the time. But when the wreck happened my lil brothers head started hurt where the same spot where Zeddie got a piece of car in his head . And when they was doing chest compressions Wades chest started hurting.

Can anyone explain that?

I think there is a certain connection between some people that even death can't break... when my grandfather died I was at my aunt's how, being a good child playing with my brother and my cousin in my cousin's room, the phone rang (which it was doing alot of that day with relatives calling and whatnot because my grandfather was really sick) and i can't even explain the feeling...like something (a presence) eveloped me with one last hug and I started crying and my brother and cousin asked me why...I told them Grandpa was dead right as my aunt walks in the room to tell us he passed *shrugs* I can't explain it but I felt him leave this life...

I know at times I have felt spirits. None have connected with me after a tragic event yet.

I think that if a person is very close to someone they can feel what they feel as they die.

When my papaw died... I didnt know it was happening and I felt his heart attack.... It was 30 minutes after I felt it that I was informed it had happened...

it could have been becasue they were so close im close to alot of my fam and my boyfriend when one of us cry we all cry even when we live a few hundred miles away its odd yes but when i got in a fight at scool my botfriend felt my stab wound and my ribs crushed from falling down the stairs with the other person on top its odd but it can happen you have to be close to the person to feel it

not sure about spirits, but i have a friend that is alive and is like one state over from my friend, when he is sick, she is sick, she can feel when he is angry or tense, but when he had a heart attack, her chest hurt for three days, she was freaking out pretty bad, and it scared her, but told her that you probably have a strong connection spiritually through your friend...

have heard people say what jewel stated, and in my opinion i believe it to be true, there are time that i can feel my grandmother in the different' feelins and pains i get...

I think there is a connection of some sort. That if a person is really close to someone that passes away they can feel what that person felt.

I defanitly believe that you can feel it. I personally don't believe that this life is just it for us. I personally believe there has to be more to it. It would just go to figure that someone that you care about in this life- you'd still care about in the *next* or from *beyond*

This causes them to be much more sensitive than adults, although some adults have retained their sensitivity. This also occurs with identical twins, the feeling of pain of their sibling. There are cases where people can make a connection like that. Look at twins. Alot of them say that they can feel the pain the other is feeling even if they are halfway across the world. So yeah if they were close enough its possible

I think it is very possible to feel what a spirit if feeling. When my step dad died my daughter who was still a baby always knew when he was there and would giggle and reach for him. Once I heard her laughing in her room after her nap and when I went in she was alone when I asked what she was laughing at she reached up and said papa. He was in the delivery room with me when I had her and has always been very close to her so I know it is possible

i have heard of that happining before with people that are really close that can sense when each other are in pain

I think it depends n the person's perception, like if their sixth sense is stronger.

I am a firm believer that if your close to the person of course you can feel it and know at the exact moment something bad like that happens....

When my aunt was dying they had called us to go to the hospital and at the exact moment she died I knew it my van shut off and wouldn't start back for 10 minutes..When we reached the hospital the family told us that she was already gone I looked at my uncle and told him the exact time she had died and told him what had happened on the way there..

I believe its possible, only because ive experienced myself recently this being my best friends baby he lived 7 days but at the exact moment he passed i threw up .i did not find out for 3 hours later that he passed but as soon as i found out i didnt throw up anymore it was like his way of letting me know even though he was only here for a week.. i dont know if that means anything or just a weird coincidence.

This happens a lot especially with mother & child, lovers, and with twins. If you have a strong connection or bond with someone you can feel them in many different emotional ways. Like when you know that person is sad. It works the same way if that person was to die, you feel it in your soul.

for some people that are empathic this happens alot. there is a connection between the 2 persons and at times empathics are reached out to by the soirit world it is not un common

This has been known to happen with mothers and children alot...I think the clue lies within the connection..

yea ive heard of this and felt it, its kinda like twins, you know how one can fill and sometimes even know what the other one is thinking. its that connection that we make with someone that are spirts become one togather.

I think sometimes there is a connection between spirits. That if a person is really close to someone that passes away or is severely hurt, they can feel that something is wrong with the other.

i believe that people who become very close can feel what the other person is feeling whether its in death or in life...before my wife and i got married we always seemed to know when the other was feeling down or depressed and we would contact each other asking what is wrong is everything ok....i guess its part of our senses which we have not learnt a great deal about.

I think you make a connection to anyone you share emotions with, whether they are family, friend or partner. It is the depth of the connection that is what creates the psychic side of it to the point where you can pick up on the others emotion or physical pain. I think children in particular can make that connection a lot easier than most adults.

that is not all that unheard of when two people share a connection they may feel what the other one is feeling.

I think that if you have a tight enough or a special bond with a person I do believe that you can feel them or vice versa

Yes you can feel what spirits feel if you have that connection. Some ppl are very close to certain ppl and can feel their pain when they are alive and when they have just died, sometimes recurring over and over again. Some ppl are just have the light in them so bright they they can feel anyone's pain in life and in death. i myself am an em-path.

yeah i agree if your really close to someone when they are living when they pass they somehow let us know that they are hurt or gone.

i know there are connections i have with people (friends, family) that when bad, or good stuff happens, i have weird dreams about them or something like that.

I completely belive that you can feel what they feel, weather its a close connection or not, but the closer connection the sronger it is. Some people are more in tuned to it though.

My Tia Eva died last year in her sleep not being able to breathe.. and the day before I had awoken to the same thing.. I felt as if someone was sitting on top of me, and it was tight.. The next day my Tia Eva died.. she had one of her panic attacks.. scary stuff..~NFA

i do believe that there are connections with spirits and the living and even of people that are living with other people that are living but arent in the same place at the time because this has happened to me before

not really we as living people feel physical and emotional pain when we pass away we are in spirt form so we might feel just emotional pain but who really knows

I do not understand the meaning of this happening to people. But, I do believe this strongly, for I have experience in this.

When my mom and I were leaving the Altru Hospital for the last time, when I was there visiting my father was there with a brain anurism (spelling?), we were about half way home, when all of a sudden mom and I felt this presence in the pickup with us. I felt a stroke on my face, and then nothing. well...I found out from the family, that my father had passed away on the way to MN in mid flight, the same time we felt the presence in the vehicle with us.

Another time was when my step-grandmother had passed away. The moment that she died I was asleep. I then shot up from a deep sleep and my chest started hurting, (where they had operated on her), and suddenly I felt that she had passed. I later found out that she did pass at that very time this happened to me. It is a very weird occurence, but I don't think I will ever be able to explain what is the meaning of it.

I can't explain it but I do know what it's like. Every time some one close to me has died, sick or in any kind of trouble I have known. One way or another I always know before it happens or right when it happens.

I believe I can, have been on several ghost walks thru houses and picked on some before.And also can sense what the living is feeling as well.

i believe it is possible as well. there is a word for it. its called empathy... or empathetic. not to be confused with sympathy. sympathy is understanding a feeling. empathy is actually feeling it as if it were u.

i think this is possible cuz i have felt it with my grandpa when he died. and now with my gf. i feel every little bit of pain she is going throu. and to think that she has dealt with this for as long as she has i am proud of her

If there was a strong connection in life, then it is possible that connection or bond continued over into the after.

It is definitely possible that your lil brother was feeling the pains that his cousin was. If they were very close then more likely than not there was an empathic connection between the two of them. Even if it wasn't on the cousin's side, your lil bro definitely showed signs of an empath. Children have a way of sensing things differently than adults do so, this could be an explanation for what your bro was feeling at the time.

Identical twins can feel what the other is feeling.but i think when people are very close they too can feel what another is going through,which includes physical pain and suffering.If i can remember rightly its called the gemini factor.

I believe that depending on hte strength of your connection to the person who has passed then yes you can!
and also on how much of the emotion they are still giving off towards you then maybe you can feel that too!
My grandads brother was murdered in the second world war! he was on a submarine and was attacked by the japanese
he died!
but i have had him with me!
wehn i went into a submarine i had the feeling of excitement and fear that he felt!
and he has always been there and when things were getting bad he saved me from getting hurt!

its strange but they still have the same feelings as twins some people have these feelings but dont know what they mean until they find out

This is something that i truly belive in, as well as practice on an everyday basis. I have been able to converse with the dead since i was 13... never really thought too much of it till the day my sister died. It was her that actually told me that she had passed on before the Nurse came out and told us that she was no longer with us. It did scare me a bit but it has been her spirit with me ever since that has helped me to understand this more. So i would have to say a huge yes that not only can the spirits feel what we feel but also should you concentrate hard enough then you can as well feel what they do and even converse with them.

I think that there is a possibility of having that close of a connection with someone. A kindred spirit perhaps. I know sometimes when my best friend is not feeling well or is upset, I get the same kind of feeling

The two of them may have been so close that they shared a mental connection. So when your cousin died (Goddess rest his soul) your little brother would have felt it as well, but not to the same extent. Twins normally have this connection, but it may be possible in others seeing as it happened with your brother.

I think that if a person is very close to someone they can feel what they feel as they die.
With me it was a pain all over, unexplainable at the time . Hind sight 20/20 I peiced the feeling together with a loved one's death, motorcycle accident.

I beleave you can have some kind of connection with the dead, if you where eather very very close to them before they died...they have some kind of...something to settle, maybe attack there killer or something along those lines, some that that they must do first, or if you figure out a way to contact them and summan them.

I read somewhere if you figure out how to call them to you, there your for life they will eather protect you forever, or haunt you for life.

I really don't know about this because..

a) I dont know how the spirits feel and
b) If I don't know how the spirits feel then I wouldn't know how I would feel about them

some friends in Missouri took me to a cemetary, ostensibly to take pictures, but to see if anything happened...after we had been there for awhile, a fog that came out of nowhere tried to surround us and cut us off from the car- my friends became spooked, and tried to get me to hurry to the car, but for some reason I felt like someone needed me...I kept hearing a voice in my head that said "Stay with me", even after we had gotten into the car and were headed back home. My friends said that for awhile after, I kept talking aobut someone being hungry, and talking in a thicker southern accent than normal...even now, I can sometimes hear that voice when it is late at night, and I am on the verge of sleep

i think that if you are related that there is a certain bond between them. sometimes it is a very light bond(almost none) and sometimes there is a very strong bond. even after death there may still be that connection for about 3 days after, where the brain no longer has any waves going through it.

The same thing happened to me and my little cousin when my grandmjother died when she took her last breath my little cousin was making choking sounds and I couldn't breath it felt like life was being sucked right out of me

I've been a paramedic 8 yrs, and I am positive I can feel when a spirit leaves the body. Sometimes happily sometimes not.

I feel the hatred and sadness too as said earlier, sometimes I feel happiness though. I guess the answer in my opinion would be yes.

I have always been able to feel spirits. I can feel their emotions at times, but never any actual physical pain. If the 2 people have a close connection tho, sure I think it would be possible. I started working at the local hospital about 8 months ago. I feel things I would really rather not from lots of the patients. As MadameMinaMurray said as well, I can feel when the spirit is leaving the body. So if some of us can connect that well with strangers, then people with a close connection could probably feel each others pain. Needless to say I am looking for another job. lol Twins also sometimes can feel each others pain or know when the other is in trouble. Perhaps it's just the close connection between two people that cause things like that.

it doesnt evenhave to be with someone close to u. you can move into a house that could be haunted and the spirit there can try to connect with someone by letting them feel what they once when through maybe trying to get help or to make someone understand them even to get justice. it is more likely for someone to feel what a spirit feels when they are close to them but either way its possible

anythings is possible, but yeah. i think that there is a connection with spirits and people. like its said- for every life born another dies. well i believe that the people that you truely affect while being alive can feel your feelings or at least some of them. that would be a decent way to explain why some people get sudden bursts of happiness or sadness and cant explain why. its because someone that has affected them greatly has felt that way. im not sure- maybe im just rambling to a dead end.

There is a part of us that understands and can empathise with the spirits. I do not think that we can feel in the same way that they feel.

We pick up the most basic bits of what is there, but the depth of it is not able to transfer unless there was a connection between the spirit and the person prior.

Sometimes we wish to feel because of our want to connect or empathize. So we create a link that normally would not be there, and even in that some wish for it to be more than what it is. A brief passing.

Well, I know with twins they can feel what the other one feels. As you have said these two boys are cousins. Perhaps they just gained a very spiritual bond with one another I cant really tell for sure.

Just last night my spirit who's name is Aleron, he is fifteen. He began to miss his parents and though he has full access to them he dose not feel obligated to go visit them or live with them. And after felling so I began to feel sad and alone myself.
I have a few more besides him and I can very much feel how the feel. I try to avoid feeling their anger but sometimes I am unable too.

I feel that it was his cousin's spirit letting him know what was happening and that something was wrong...even though he couldn't see him. I've heard the stories of people seeing their loved one or another family members spirit before they died...coming to more or less comfort them before they pass. I know I have seen and felt things in my dreams...and have had bruises when I awoke. But nothing more.

people have stronger ties to others than some believe. It's nothing really explainable. It just happens.

definetely. i am not afraid of the dark - i love darkness; but one evening, whilst i was in a house i was helping to renovate, i suddenly felt nervous about the darkness outside. the light from the 60 W bulb seemed to dim and fade to that of less than 40W. i suddenly felt absolutely terrified of the dark - i was petrified, and dint know why. i fled from the house in terror - yet as soon as i was outside (where it really was dark) my fear left. the workmen that worked on the house in the morning shift complained that every morning the power was switched on and every light in the house was switched on (whereas i regularly switched them off and isolated the power before leaving). then one day i was on my way downstairs to answer the door when i saw a figure of a young girl (perhaps maybe 10 years old) standing on the landing, wearing a flowered nightskirt, slowly fade away like a TARDIS.

i am convinced that what i sensed was the spirit's fear of the dark

I can sence emotions of spirits and varying levels of energy, but only the spirits of people and animals that are still alive. I do, however, have a couple friends who the dead reach out to to talk to and tell their life storys, and my gram felt it when my mother died...

There are some circles that say that when a soul comes to heaven it is split and put into several bodies. Hence the term soul mate.

But sometimes, you can get so close to someone that you can feel their feelings or listen to their thoughts. This is just another type of closeness.

Maby because they where so close the one that was dying was trying to reach out to someone close to him maybe to let him know what was happening and what was going on

I have felt it for so long and most recently its been increasing since my partner moved in its worst, it seems the spirits that use to just make me feel their emotions and then leave me be, or for the ones that always remain they just make me feel them from time to time, but now its worst they push the emotions inside my head and body, and its rather painful at times, imagine a huge sadness entering your mind as you are relaxing and your partner can only hold oyu and try to protect you using his the little skills he has to try and repell those spîrits that invade me with their emotions, but the last time it was so intense he could just hold me and cry with me.

you little brother has the gift of feeling wat happens to others but he also has the forsight of seening of wat has happen to the person, i know this because im the same way, when i see a spirt i can feel the pian and suffering that had happen to him or her, or i see it with my own eyes, its as a movie being played with my mind.

Its a heavy burden indeed to carry, ive always felt what spirits felt, have always seen flickers, when i was a kid many thought i was losing my mind because i would act so emotionally. I think it's truly possible. I've heard strange stories like that happening between mother & child, twins...& as the saying goes when you've got a headache and someone close to you just gets one "Im coming out in sympathy for you", bit of a crappy example, but I think you catch the drift lol

If you have a strong emotional connection to someone, i belief it is possible to pick up on their general state of mind. As for actually feeling precisely the same things. Well, i don't think it to be likely but certainly not impossible.

I have felt emotion from my grandfathers spirit. He comes to me in many different ways, but most of the time in my dreams. He comes during special times and sad times. I can definitely feel his emotions. Also, I believe that there can also be a spiritual connection among the living. I have a best friend that lives very far away, and call it gut feelings or a spiritual connection, but I can feel when something is wrong. I even know when he is going to call. And he has the same experiences with me.

I think that you can experience what a spirit feels, or even what a living person feels. People can be bonded and not even know it.

i believe that if u r close to someone the connection is still there when they die which enables that connection between a spirit and a living being to be able to continue.
