I just reallised that where I am the full moon is comming upon me , and my body and soul is acting different.
I was just wondering how the Full moon was affecting others of our kind ??

The moon governs the ebb and flow of all the waters on earth through its gravitational pull. During full-moon phases, when the sun and moon are in allignment with the earth, there is a particularly strong gravitational pull on the ocean`s surface, creating what is known as a high spring tide. Since the human body consists of 70% water and emotions are strongly affected by the watery elements, this gravitational pull also influences our behaviour.

when you are tuned to nature you will feel the pull of the moon, it effects those whom are in tune.. thus that is why most probably you feel like that..

different paths have their celebration of the full moon as the moon is in its peak

Masque... I posted the same time as you did... Yes that does make since... Im a water sign and emotions run wild with me! I really had never saw it the way you put it... maybe that why its the one time I feel comfortable.

i fell and hear the full moons call, its strange and yet it just feels so right for me the full moon brings out a darker more wild soul that i keep contained mostly because i do not yet fully understand it.

The moon pulls out the carnal side of me; I have been told that I almost act like a wild animal the day of and the day after the full moon. My senses are heightened and I feel closer to the earth and its ways than I do to the ways of the civilized world.

the moon sends out energy and when it is full it emits the most energy so many people feel different, some feel weeker some stronger , etc

I have always felt very much in tune with the full moon myself. Many times a spiritual pull cannot be explained scientifically, but sometimes it can :)

I first learnt about tides and the earth`s pull versus that of other planets during high school (Geography) and I have been interested in the subject ever since, on a very general basis.

On another note, what I said about the pull of the moon regarding water, this is also why it is most impportant to select certain herbs for magickal workings and cut them during the full moon - because during that time their water content and potency are at their height.

I have not noticed any effects from the full moon other than fitfull sleep. I am unable to easily get to sleep and stay asleep during nights with a full moon.

The moon, to me, seems to give me energy and brings inside me the fighting persona, It has always been great to me...

It is a scientific fact that ppl act different when there is a Full Moon something that happens with the atmosphere that makes ppl feel and act different.

Like Tyr, the Full Moon brings out a more primal/carnal agression inside me. Unfortunately it lasts for 2 days prior and 2 days after. And to make things more interesting, The samething takes control on the New Moon as well.

I am much more energetic on a full moon. I feel more alive than ever. Also my senses are more powerful than on any other night.

Ask anyone who works in a emergency room, police station or jail and you'll hear plenty about how the full moon affects people. I used to and there is a definate difference during the day before,day of and day after a full moon. An old cop I used to know always called it the "fool moon" because of the crazy things that happened or were reported.
It makes me feel energized and more at peace but then I love to gaze at it and relax.

I don't feel any change but like you some do...possibly because they believe a full moon causes changes.

But its hard to say... I just find it calming and I feel recharged... I think alot is being in tune with it... It at time has made me feel edgy... but that when Im stressed out and so on!

I have noticed only recently that my mood is dependant on the lunar cycle, for two maybe three days before the full moon i become very manic, my energy bounds, then on the eve of the full moon i have what could only be described as delusions of grandeur, this lasts for about twenty four hours then i crash to a low ebb for seventy two hours. Levelling off after that.
I have also noticed that during this six day period my dreams are thicker more layered, somehow more vivid.

Makes my blood boil and fury rage. It awakens a very primal side to me.

For me ,the full moon heightens my senses to an extream level

I've noticed a change, its like all my senses got turned up a bit and I can't seem to turn them back down. Its kinda scary sometimes, but quite and interesting ride

Even people who have no claim to the supernatural feel different when the moon is full, vs when it is waning.


Think of the way the moon affects water, creating tides with the seperate gravitational pull. A human's body contains a lot of water. It's safe to assume that it will have some effect on a person.

Those with a supernatural abilitiy find those abilities much more enhanced due to certain phases of the moon, and de-enhanced when it's gone.

I feel more alive during the full moon. My powers feel at their strongest.

Most people are effected by the full moon. Like has been said before, it is most likely due to the gravitational pull.

Not sure how the Full Moon really effects me. I know I feel at peace when I look up at it being a moon child. I know that it does have effect on people, I work in tech support and the people get a little crazy when it is the full moon night.

i like full moon...i have abit more energy..the creatures are more active (the raccoons play more)..its pretty when both the moon and the sun are in the sky at the same time...its pretty common here , but its one of my favorite sights.

i cannot a test to any changes in behavior when the full moon comes... i am not in tune with the moon cycles, and i just believe people are crazy all month long.

I feel that when the full moon comes out, I become more alive and free. I think that the full moon brings more energy to those who are open minded to nature. People who love the nocturnal times and think of nature as a form of beauty and life, will see the moon as a form of life giving in itself, taking in the energy in which it gives out in waves of bright light in a lively way. People who are like me, use these times to refresh themselves with new energy and life to start over with and make things better for themselves.

Yeah... I get my rag during the full moon. Other than that, it's just the fact that we're nocturnal that we like the full moon. She is rather beautiful. I, as a vampire however, prefer the no-moon nights when it's totally dark outside.

I notice that there are times that I think that wow I feel different than normal. I feel more sensual, daring, and overall dark. Then I'll happen to glance up to see the full moon and be oh, that's why I feel that way. I belive that the moon does affect people's actions.

I think Masque's explanation is the best yet! I to feel the pull of a full moon, and depending on whether its a new moon or old moon depends on my emotions. I find with new moons I feel more energetic and adventurous, old moons more quiet and retrospective.

Personally, I feel if the Moon has the power to control our oceans and tides, and that without the moon, we'd have problems. I feel it is greatly possible that she affects us humans and animals, too!

I can’t find the numbers now. :( The FBI had some good listing in a few studies I had on crime rates. Globally (America, Europe, Japan and Korea I think) there is a clear increase in crime during a full moon.

I know personally the full moon is kind of annoying as our troops in the desert are more easily seen and the extra ambient light messes with night vision gear, sigh.

Now I remember as a kid watching this event happen. It lasted for some time and it was a great show. The moon even appeared to change shape and dance.

It makes me feel really wide awake when the moon is full.

I can't recall any particular moment when a full moon had any effect on me, aside from merely stopping in my tracks and looking up at it in awe.. but, even then, that generally only happens when the clouds in the sky are just right, especially if they reflect the light perfectly making the whole sky beautiful.

Those kind of moments make me wish I had a digital camera. >.

does the full moon lunar eclipse that will happen on saturday night have a different effect on people than just a full moon?

ive heard of the gravity being different when there is full moon and that that might be a cause for change in behaviour, but i havent heard anything about how planet/moon/sun alignment.

I am a water sign, so the full moon does make a difference to my mood when it's up. I've noticed that I am more excitable. I have more energy, and I want to play more than when it's at another phase. The word "frisky" comes to mind!

when the full moon comes it makes me want to spend more time outside and makes me think and brings out my creative side sadly its snowing and I cant go out and see it.

I have been able to finally relax..that's what happens to me..otherwise, I'm restless...feeling a pull to be on the move, to do something. I feel calm and relaxed..this will remain the way I feel for a few days before and a few days following a full moon...I can't entirely explain it...it's the way it always has been for me though...nothing new. oh my is the full moon beautiful... i couldnt sleep and my body is restless... but i love gazing into its prying eye

We just had a full moon and it was beautiful. I become excited and very restless as well. My body was so energized and refreshed. It can sometimes make me get a little out of control though. I've had some pretty strange things happen to me a long time ago. Like I would hear voices, like the earth and trees were speaking to me.

I love the full moon it is a full energy release for me..The full moon is a beautiful thing.

Tonight there`s a total lunar eclipse. This occurs when the earth is directly between the sun and the moon, blocking any light from reaching the latter. It is quite rare, and in fact the next total lunar eclipse will take place in another 22 years. The moon may not just disappear but also change colour, as any light which will reach it will be reflected off earth. Therefore you may actually see a dark red full moon!

For myself I am really looking forward to it.

well i don't normally pay much attention to the phases of the moon. It doesn't seem to effect me that much.

But it does effect people around me as in thier moods and how energetic they are.

The full moon definitely affects human behavior... if you don't believe me, just look over the emergency room records, birth records, and police reports and compare them by the lunar calendar. Hence the them "Lunatics".

It is a given that the moon's gravity affects the seas of our planet earth, which we see as tides. It is highly plausible that the moon also affects our minds in a similar manner, only to a much lesser extent. So much less that we possibly only feel it at a sub-concious level. I believe this is why people act differently during full moons and new moons.

Exactly know what you are talking about.. I have worked on the psych ward myself.. They definetly get some kind of affects from it.. Sometimes it gets pretty bad.

The full moon always makes me want to stare at it and walk, bask in its light. I rarely can but I wish I could, it's always so beautiful.

when I was in high school, and even junior high, I used to walk around at night in the woods around my house. During the full moon I was most atuned the lands. I knew the area well enough to be able to run for miles without really looking around, but during those full moons, I could go blindly and yet still know what was around me. I've walked up to deer during the nights of full moon. Something I've never been able to do on any other occasion.

we had a lunar eclips here on saturdaynight between 6 pm and 8 pm it was beautiful. and my nieces and i sat out in the back yard to wath it. they are indigo children and very intune with the universe

hmmm . . . . .what effects the full moon has on me. . . . . .well, I LOVE the full moon. My senses go wild and I am able to tune into things alot better than usual. I am excellerated, but quiet. The pull of the moon often 'leads' me to places unknown and peaceful, perfect for meditation.

But all in all. . . as I always say, everyone is different.

As a bartender, I always found that the lunatics weren't the only ones to go more beserk during a full moon- the people who drank regularly always seemed to get a little more agitated when out during a full moon as well, people were a tad easier to have their buttons pushed, or for that matter, to do the pushing

If your out partying or just being wild the full moon is supposed to bring out the best , and worst in people..

The full and new moon are the only times a month that i feel completely at peace.
