Many people have used love spells say that sometimes they work sometimes they don’t. Now the question is while the person who is casting the spell could it be considered a curse on the person they are casting it on, since it is altering them to do something else, feel something else, or do things that they problem would not do on their own?
Thoughts and opinions please.
using love spells to draw someone to the caster, as opposed to bolstering an existing relationship?
The first case, well, to put it bluntly careful what you wish for, you might just get a very devoted person that you knew nothing about.
i find love spells to more of a curse, something that is bing casted on some one with out there knowledge or feelings being taken into thought.
I have seen many people try love spells and nothing they wanted happened, it turned out all wrong, and the person they wanted either became to involed to the point of stalking or nothing happened in a romanitc way but the person started a extream dislike for the person casting the spell
In the case where the caster didn't know what they were getting into, there's a problem from the start, and I guess it could be considered a curse for both parties. However, in the case that it works out, I agree more with the native South American philosophy. Sure, a person that otherwise wouldn't have looked at you a second time is genuinely in love with you, but if they're happy, is it really a curse? If a person makes you happy by showing you something you otherwise wouldn't have considered, aka affection towards someone you weren't initially interested in, where's the harm?
well the harm can be, your using something to gain love, instead of them loving you on your own, its taking away a persons ability to choose for them selfs
Love is a fickle thing that must always be treated with care. If say I were to use a spell on a person I know is interested in me and I in him,but he is just to shy to tell me then there is nothing wrong with that. However if I were to use it to get back my ex or to get someone who I am interested in, but they are not interested in me then it would more than likely backfire.
what about sneaking a sample of that food onto a person plate, to find out they had averse reactions to that product. Gypsy love "charms" are some of the most sought after love charms. The way gypsies network creates the appearence of winning over a person of romantic interest. Best to just develop social skills, or accept that that person has none or limited interest in you.
I know she loves me, she just needs to see it my way!
Never mind that there is a complete lack of interest from the object to the would be caster.
I shiver at such a mentality..
A person using spell craft to develop confidence to approach a person already hinting of interest.. What harm could there be in that?
It is the Abrubtist that needs to be shunned.
Got to say Dabbler you’re a little harsh on the love magic lol
I must say I find it funny that wiccans who believe do what you will but harm none… a love spell is harmful and not ethically correct according to wiccan dogma..
Yet so widely used in wicca lol
However believing in your love spell is on the same level as asking god for strength I think…. Nothing wrong there …
well, it could be considered a curse if the person the spell is going toward doesn't like the one who cast it.
Lets face it you cast a spell on someone to love you…. They do. Life didn’t plan for you to have your love and the spell keeps them yet there unhappy and it all goes pete tong..
So it is a curse for sure
Would it not be concidered another form of slavery? You take away someons free will to choose and say here you are going to like this whether you want to or not. And then what do you get? A Drone? A Stepford Wife? If the love isn't genuine then what is the point of the relationship? Is it not just then hallow and one sided in all reality? The other side just a programed act?
"wiccan dogma"....? well witches do work love spells, and so do I. Nothing is wrong with casting a glamour, or using knowledge of Magick to attract a lover. To do so only exerts your will to seduce and have your way with them, it is of their own free will if they reciprocate. All such relationships begin with attraction anyway.
Magic gets divided into positive and negative by some.
Love gets to go under the positive label….
I don’t think so.. after you are bending someone’s will to yours and locking it in time and space a sort of magic prison.
Ethics are ethics … I find it odd a spell designed to con or divert or just plan suppress free will must be in the negative camp.
One should consider weather or not the attraction that sends them seeking a love spell/enchantment/charm, are natural to them.
Then when one sets in motion the ritual consider the subjects/targets friends, their circle that you will met eventually, any charm is as strong as the person is influenced by it.
Metaphorically speaking of course.
One should never dismiss the idea of a third party, but check references. keep to friendly circles. A friends perception (if you are honest with them in presenting the situation) can save you the effort.
I wouldn't exactly call it curse, because I believe you can't change a person's will no matter how many spells you throw at them. If the person being cast on has absolutely no will and desire to be with the caster, the spell isn't going to work. It isn't going to permeate into their subconscious and make them suddenly think "Hey, that person's pretty cute!". It's only when that desire already exists that the spell will find and enhance, hopefully to the point where the person makes their move. And that, to me, isn't a curse or otherwise morally wrong.
A brief charm opens a small window of oppertunity. Could you be comfortable thinking that the person with you is enchanted, or spelled. After the conquest feeling fades, you will drift from them, leaving them in confused desire.. or seething..
Craft used to enhance current present company is perhaps more acceptable
As far as ethics goes, like charming a shy person to crack there shell.
For fuck sakes people that is what the spell is for is to get the person to like you without knowing.. What is the use of doing a spell? Might as well just ask them Do you like me or love me? HAHAHA yeah ok that will work..
I have used love spells a couple times. But I have found that even though it might bring somebody together it can't keep them together. The couple has to have love, trust & communication in order for it to work.
It just can not see them. Why would you want someone if they are forced to love you. It will hurt more later ,than if you just move on. Your love is out there so keep the eyes and the heart open.
I know more people that would rather cast a spell to keep unwanted advancements to a minimum.
What of when the spell fades?
A persons friends may notice them out side of their usual demographic, and despell them.
One spell leads to another?
Metaphorically speaking of course.
I would ask the same question. Binding a persons attraction to yourself, is very low. A little charm to seduce perhaps. But Enchanting? How long until the caster gets jaded?
first of all, magick is never to be used to "force" something. you cannot use those energies to make someone care for you beyond their will or own desire.
so, this question seems moot.
you can do a spell of attraction, and do what you can to attract yourself to that person...and that is about it.
The love that we dream of, is not always the love that is fulfilling. True love takes work constantly by both people to make it last. A spell will create love but not a lasting or fulfilling relationship.
the greater any enchantment is, the more likely it is to effect the caster of the enchantment, charms are much safer, bit should only be used in moderation.
Any first year student of the craft should know you never cast a love spell on someone who hasn't shown a hint of interest to the other person because it will not work. you can not make someone go against there nature and feel something that isn't there love spells do not work and there for I do not use them nor recommend them to be used.
I have been told that you can´t use a spell on other person without that person´s approval...
magick can´t be used to force things, and of course not to force a feeling...
it may work, but sooner or later that person who received the charm, will "wake up" and probably it would be sad trying to explain...
I think it would be more of a curse. It would be bending the will of the person it was cast on to something which the person might not want. Who would want to not have a will?
I have never seen even a simplely cast relationship spell work right. Not to mention the ones what draw out right servitude from the parties involved....
I have seen it turn to rape, attempted murder, and a variety of other wise self destructive, abusive, and unhealthy situations.
Even one done with the lofiest intent recives the worst results.
For all the dark magicks, and the sorts of things i study and practice, never will i touch this form of magick again. One shouldnt have to feed their need to be loved so much as to have to have magick to do it.
Magick is excellent at finding jobs, getting more money, helping people who need a little extra push, even protecting places, as well as eliminating obstacles that stand in ones way, however manipulating someone with all the intent of what love can do to a person, is down right stupid.
love is one of the most unstable emotions the human can feel, because it is everything from down right merderous intent, to fear, to passion, to envy, to greed, to lust, everything that is foul about the human condition is brought out by their feelings of "love". I will have none of that be touched by my arts, because there is enough of emotional imblance to go around as it is. Let alone inflict it upon anothers life.
the good thing about failure in love craft is that the Curious Shallow Novice will scurry off to some other appealing concept to alter their lack of social graces.
Metaphorically speaking.
thats the sad truth of it...
Im gonna start off my studies by saying i want a popular person to love me.....instead of me being the thing, by my nature that someone is drawn to love....
Love spells are not only a curse to the victim who has now been robbed of his/her free will, but also to the victimizer, particularly if the victim becomes so entrhalled they begin to interfere with the victimizer's life.
i think that putting a love spell on someone is wrong thoe i been guilty of doing such things (hangs head in shame) because i believe very strongly when one uses a spell to draw someone near to thier heart it is like stealing thier free will. it is just wrong
This I know from experience Love and like spells are a NO NO Love spells your messing with the heart and emotions and it wil not be the person you expect it to be that was before you put the spell on that person, totally different
and it controls the person so a Big NO NO on LOVE SPELL
And like that is an extra umph for some one to like you but it also can cause death to that person that is a proven fact.
you can have major back fires when it comes to love spells i wanted so badly to have the attention of any and all men at a very early age when i first opened my first book on the craft and knew i was differant cause i had talants i could not explain well all be it i been engaged 31 times raped 14 times and still draw unwanted attention but thankfully not as much i been with mtlwolf for the last 15 years and in that time i only had about 5 encounters that were bad ... basically turning into a recluse to avoid contact with the outside world. wish i could just turn it off insted. many cleansing and reverse spells will not touch something of this magnitude nor would you want an actual reverse spell for the love of the gods and goddesses you would be beaten to a pulp ... play with fire you will get burned
I have seen it come back in a very bad way in most cases that i have known of or witnessed. I think that in the end it sometimes ends up bieng a curse for both people. You can't fool with human emotion. Personal expeirance tells me that. If the person loves you they will love you. Using a spell i a way of cheating out what life has put in path for you in my opinion..
A love spell brings Love to you
A love cures is where you try to force someone to love you.
Good comes from finding love not forcing it to find you.
i would have to say that a spell to make a person love another as opposed to a working or request assistance from the fates in finding the person compatible to you falls within the realm of curse. enforcing your own will upon another in attempt to gain their favor is always a bad move and is bound to backfire. prime example would be a person who lies about themselves in order to make another person like them. in the end they cannot close the deal.
on the other hand, a request for guidance to find a compatible person who you can get to know honestly is ok.
not necessarily shallow. i guess as jaded as i once was now i am more optimistic. love can come easy, naturally. holding it and keeping it untainted is the tricky part.
people throw around words like love as if it was candy at the Macy's parade. there are different kinds of love, but the kind of love that attracts two people to each other and then grows as they experience their rough times and good times. the kind of love that binds two people to each other no matter who talks to who or anything else, people don't believe in. becomes it does come with effort.
would you put a seed into dirt and just expect it to grow? of course not, it must be nurtured, watered, pruned and so on. people just don't like to work for anything anymore.
It's defiently a curse. If you are having your emotions alter against your well that is a curse. No one should be made to love another. Being in love is a special thing and what makes it special is that it is real and the person that you feel for feels for you alwell. And if they don't feel the way that you do then they are not what is right for you. Yeah it can hurt but if they dont' really love you well then that would hurt more.
i believe it to be a form of a curse.......makeing someone feel something that they might not of on there own . and yes i say becareful what you wish for cuase it might back fire and you might find out you dont like them so much then what you have someone who is still in love with you and wont leave you alone.........and its not like you can just undo it once youve cast it........
99% of the time a love spell is a love curse... Because if you cast a spell whatever the person feels is not their own and so it just cannot work... The exception: Should you happend to be lucky enough the other party truly has feelings of their own for you then your spell just clarifys that point and a lasting relationship may be the result...
Charms are a double edged sword, they may work, like the above post says well, then the person benifiting will second guess the depth of the resulting relationship, "Was it the charm, or was it just my confidence in the charm, or did the person actually notice me?"
If a person has to cast for love then perhaps its the caster that needs to take a step back and evaluate the real reason they are doing it in the first place. Is it for what they concieve to be love? Or could it just simply be good ol fashioned lust. Never take lust lightly for it is a very powerful emotion, but once its worn off do you still want the person around and if so why? Thats when you begin to find out if it really good be love. If that is the case then no spell is needed.
My thoughts on this....
No matter the kind of spell, the general rule is to never use magick on someone who is not fully knowledgable and consenting. Or at least expect to undergo the exact same result.
I too have noticed, thankfully through second-hand knowledge as I had ample warning and the sense to take heed...that when you put a love spell on someone, you usually end up with one of two results.
1. It works, and you end up with an obsessive form of love, that may not react well when the infatuation is over. (hence the stalking. I knew someone that happened to.)
2. It doesnt work, possibly because the person is stronger, more willful, and can throw it off them, and usually is also sensitive enough to pin down exactly who did it. Hence the retaliatory hatred aimed in the caster's direction. (Ive not only seen it second-hand, Im one of those who has noticed and gotten seriously annoyed.)
But really, it works with other forms of magick spells, bindings for instance. Never do a binding on someone unless you are willing to suffer the same effect. Why?
Because Magick is like a rope made of energy. You tie one end on someone else, no doubt you are gonna be on the other end, and the energy then moves back and forth between you. If both of you know its there and are okay with it, no big deal and it can be quite rewarding. But if the other person didnt give you permission, it's kind of like walking up to them and slapping a dog collar and leash on them. They're gonna be angry and you're going to face the consequences of that anger.
Truth to tell though, the lucky ones are probably the ones where the intended target of the spell noticed and got angry about it. They're resistance can break that bond. The unlucky ones are the ones in which the victim responds a little too well, and the caster finds he or she is having a difficult time escaping them when they got more than they bargained for.
I do not like them because for one if someone must cast in order to be loved then something just is not right with that individual and they must step back and reevaluate themselves. Love spells or curses should never be used in my opinion because of the damage that they cause.
I agree most with La Muerte's views on this subject.
If the person affected is indeed completely happy, as well as the spell castor, it is a win-win situation.
However, if the person finds themselves attracted to the spell castor and knows not why and it ends up being a love/hate situation, where the affected is generally conflicted and confused, I do not believe that is right.
Just another quick thought, the one who casts the spell must keep in mind that often something desired is a lot less glamorous once obtained, and if their love spell should indeed work, the one who cast it may be causing much more harm than good in the long run.
If a person has not attempted to approach the subject of their attraction , and wants to use a charm to aid in that approach, or I have heard covens have played match makers in some sucessful marriages.. yet if a person has appraoached the subject of attraction, and the person is not immiadietly receptive.. then to engage in craft is
under suspect application.
Enchantments should only be cast on a stable relationship, to maintain an enchantment one must isolate the subject from friends and family (to avoid family, and friends seeing how the match does not work, and creating conflict in the illusion)
To spice up a drifting marriage enchantment is applicable, as well as in social entertainment. Every once in a while you create candid moments, and people are most attracted to others through candid observation. Not all magic is "Hey.. watch this." Anyone that would invoke a love spell for another is likily to assess the persons intent.
If a persons objective is a fixed person, that is a possible flag, if a person wants a little more confidence in seeking an attraction..
those that want someone to "Do it all", will usually pay dearly, for a showy display.

Odd how the first Wiccian had me pegged for Lavender Incense
she drew me out of a bad relationship, and nursed me back from pnemonia she never had to tell me she was Wiccian.
Well.. . For one, If you have to put a love spell on someone then your nothing but a low life because love isn't bought, nor stoling. . It's created, made by the fabric of existance, only two can create true love, dear, not a potion nor spell, that is just fake and even then if the person loves someone else the person will brake free from the spell due to the other one they love.
Well stated Omure, that possibility that a spelled person will break the spell, or a friend of that person will notice the charmed person "out of their normal character", work against the caster of that spell, or charm.
from what I hear, more people seek outside sources to cast love spells, then perform one them selfs.
So people ask, what applications are acceptable (why would love magic exist, to be misapplied, it should have an application that is valid)
To enhance attraction, confidence in pursuing a person that one is hesitant to approach, a charm to respark a relationship ..
Selfish applications, and those who do so, deserve what they get.
With or without a spell you can not make someone love you anymore than you can hypnotize someone to kill themselves. You can not force someone to do something that is not in their nature. Even if you manage to enhance feelings they already had, when they find out what you did they will feel betrayed and destroy even what they had beforehand. If you build a relationship on a lie it will not last. Lets assume just for a second that you could force someone to love you with a spell. Would you really want someone with you knowing that the love they feel for you is a lie? There's really no difference between that and someone telling you they love you when they really don't. I have never heard of anyone living happily ever after as the result of a love spell, they always end badly. So I guess I would have to say in the long run it's a curse for everyone involved.
Very Valid post Wolvie, though one cannot make someone (through suggestion) kill themselves, one can suspend that persons caution to distract them from a potentially dangerous activity, but the suggestion is only as effective as the persons confidence in the person presenting the suggestions. That is why I am a more convinced that charms are more likely to "trap" a person against their better judgement.. but that is only as reliable as the up keep.
I think casting a love spell on someone is in fact cursing them because you are taking away their free will.
Lady horror
Wolvie states a very good point. It's also under my belief that it is wrong to make someone do something that they would not otherwise do. If they don't want to love you, then they won't love you, simple as that. You shouldn't have to make someone love you. Just be yourself. It's always wrong to cast such a spell, so many things could go awry.
Maven states:
First of all, magick is never to be used to "force" something. You cannot use those energies to make someone care for you beyond their will or own desire.
I reply:
Perhaps movies such as "The Craft" have given many not involved with spell crafting a bad image of the actual practice. I am, admittedly, not someone who does any type of spell crafting. However, I do believe that an absolute such as "never to be used to force something" is going a bit too far. Like them or not, we all know there are distinctions in the type of spells being done depending upon the person doing the spell. While the wiccans might uphold the threefold law, many others do not.
Going back to the original question: Love spells or love curses, which is it? Well, I guess that would depend upon which end of the spell/curse you're on, doesn't it? If you're the one performing the ritual, you might consider it a spell, while on the otherhand, if you're the recipient of said ritual, you might consider it a curse. Several here have already likened the ritual to rape; I happen to agree. It's the same as feeding off children or animals; animals cannot speak to consent and children don't understand enough to consent (same as children and sex).
Myself I would not do any kind of Love spell because it could turn into a curse for the parties involved.. PLUS. I do not feel Love should be tampered with it should be natural and normal for everyone .
Yeah - I kinda' see it as being a forced emotion placed on another as well. Now, if one performed a love spell to attract the right person - not a particular person by force, it's all good. Candle magic is good for casting attraction spells.
Love spells, oh boy better know in my circle as mind rape .... thats taking away free will, not something i condone... love spell to me mor or less is allowing yourself to be open to love...
Sure people ask about them all the time, so I think that if your trying to perform a love spell on someone then yes you are placing a curse because your taking free will into play and taking away from that natural ability.
Let's just say this love spell worked without backlash --- no 3x3 NADA! If this is real love, how could the caster keep their sanity knowing their obsession could very be the biggest lie of their lives. I would think one would have to be purely materialistic to not be concerned with having anything more than the shell of their desire.
I think I would be miserable if I had to use a love spell to have someone love me. I would rather not use it as it cannot surely be true love. I still believe it is mind control and that is not the same thing. Besides wouldn't it eventually wear off??
I can just see my friends now, "What are you doing with this girl Dabbler?"
"I just feel right with her!"
*exchanging glances*,
" This is for your own good Dabbler.."
*Slap to the face*
"Whoa what was I thinking?"
Si a person casting a love spell is cursed to avoiding not only the targets circle of friends but their own circle of friends to avoid revelation of incompatibility.
I have seen charms save failing relationships though.
Dabbler, yes i have seen and used charms myself.
But to willing cast a love spell... there will always be a backlash as it removes free will...and who in their right mind would want to have ot ddeal with consiquencies like that. I kow I sure as hell wouldn't. Why not rather do a spell to attract love, no names just qualities that you want in a mate, there for no free will is taken.
That is why I would only respect a person that used charms to enhance existing relationships, if a relationship is drifting apart, a charm can re-spark attraction, if a shy person uses a charm to "narrow the pool" then proceeds with the traditional introduction.. why not.. when I see people desperate to "win" someone over, especially someone out of their league, I can only imagine how shallow the relationship will be. Same as people who use networking to set up "blind dates", the target may be oblivious at first, but a charm effects only one person, that person has to interact with others.
Obsession is desperate, desperate people get played, I wouldn't be surprised to see a person pretend to be charmed, just to play a person.
I can tell when a person enchants themselves as well, so tragic when the bubble breaks, an it is revealed that they had higher expectations then the target, that to me is a curse.
Nothing built on illusion will last.. the caster is subject to fall for the illusion the longer it last.
Charms to enhance plumage are wonderful. Like the use of phermones to attract potential mates, I think I already posted that, very true, it is the context that matters with love spells, the abuse of such things has more negative possibilities then positive.
Same with cohersed relations, ones based on blackmail, or other leverage tactics. Example:If a person knew something about a family member that could have legal reprecusions, and the person used that knowledge to approach say a daughter of the person, for a relationship. I don't see
A spell, enchantment, or charm being any different then that.
If a person is fed-up with being treated badly by their mate, and that person weaves a charm, or spell to bind them, that is abuse, it will likely create mental distress in the charmed person, through conflict.
To add to what I said earlier: I do believe it is a curse UNLESS the person the spell is being put on knows about it first and consents. Then it's okay but dangerous, because you aren't taking away their free will.
It could turn sour when we tamper with someone free will.. Love should come freely..... Now if you doing the spell to attract love or maybe to help a rocky relationship get back on track then it different...
I knew this lady who did a spell on a man and it turn out very bad ..He was very violent and the last i heard ... he burned down her place.... She did get what she wanted..... so we should not be playing with fire ...we just might get burn.....
*growls* That is one things that is asked of more then anything else. I never have nor will I ever toy with that of free will. As far as I am concerned anyone that purposely casts a spell to attempt to make someone else fall in love with them is in my mind spiritual rape its not welcomed and is against what many of us believe in.
How ever casting a spell of attraction to attract someone who has the qualities that you desire is a completely different type of spell.
I say has a lot to do with messing with a persons free will, so I say both ways can end up a curse.
You never know what can happen but do you really want to know.
People who would use such things are weaker than the one used on .
Love spells are always a bad idea. If the love is not natural, don't force it. You may just get something worse than hate and indifference.
Spells are a bad idea anyway.. They would only be good if you had a willing person to try it on.. Not a unwilling person.
All I truly have to say to this is if you have watched the craft then you see the most negative side to a love spell.Where in he who the love spell was focused on went to the point of him practically forcing himself on her and him not taking no for an answer. Another good example of love type spells going wrong is the movie love potion number 9.
love spells are taboo for a reason, you should not ever force your emotions on someone because just because you care for them that way doesnt mean they do.And trying to do what isnt meant to be is simply bad karma.
It would be a love spell if casted on you or someone else with there pemission. Its a curse if you do it for someone to love you with no will of there own. You are not aloud to use magic to force others to do something they dont other wise it comes back on u three fold
It is wrong to cast out to induct another to ones self. Incantation for love is an open prayer to the Gods in finding your perfect match for you, in perfect love and perfect trust that they will.
I honestly believe that if the person the spell was cast on wasn't meant to be involved the spell wouldn't work.
Everything happens for a reason, and spell or no, people who aren't meant to be in your life wont be. In saying all that, I still don't condone the use of magick to try and manipulate people into holding affection for you.
If only life were that simple - Edward Cullen here I come LOL
Love spell are real, and most of the time the end is tragic. when someone alter the emotion state of other person, that for me is a curse. Also, they are spell to end a Love spell, and that is when the hell brake loose.
Honorable VoodooMan and Honorable RomaMarie is true.
Love is not spell its the communication or summoning the souls. It can not touch only to person with conscious and person with conscious only reply to this in the same manner.
If one spells on other its casting slavery through spell and it become hypnotized and not beloved to each other bt its like owner and slave coz the conscious of the fallen is in control of the conscious of spell casting person.
Love is an approach to person of conscious to reply wisely in the same way. Its give and take evolution.
it could certainly be considered a curse for the person the spell is put on. but it also may backfire for the person casting the spell. They could be smothered by the person under the spell, maybe kept from their true love, etc.
I was really pondering this post and changed my mind.. i think love spells are good.. I mean everyone wants love and if you have a love spell on you then wont you be happily in love? To be happy is grand.. it is when it wears off that is bad.
Any spell where the object is to bend another person's will to your own should be carefully thought out. Those kinds of spells have consequences and they only work well if the subject of the spell had some sort of a predisposition to the caster in the first place.
-Chela
love spells wht a bad idea, to be o fixated on someone that does'ent truly except you for you. So you curses them to bend to you''er own will, and for what phical buety that fades with time, lust that only leads to pian. before useing any thing like that think of the repercations, things are'nt alweys rainbows and harts sometimes you'ell miss whats right under you'er nose.
You cannot 'FORCE' someone to fall in love with you against their will.
"If love is a will to possess, then it is NOT love at all."
Love comes freely, and goes freely. It cannot be manipulated by lust, desire, greed, or possessiveness.
You can find a match, or attract someone with similar interests by using a 'love spell.' And then you fall in love in the natural way, as your god or goddess intended it to be so.
Now, hypothetically, if you could manipulate someone's emotions with magic or bend them according to your will, whether your a good person or not at heart. I would consider being in love with that person a curse because 'I as a human being lost my will to chose.'
my personal opion is love is something that is a gift, its supose to be given freely without expectations and so i think it would be more of a curse in the "for every action there is a greater reaction" and i just wouldnt want to take the chance of messin with my love...~JJ
There's no such thing as forcing someone to feel something for someone else. There must be attraction already in order for a love spell to work, the love spell just helps things to work out, like many other spells.
I'd consider it a curse if the relationship doesn't work out and both or one of the persons involved get hurt.
I would not mess with love spells if ididnt know what I was doing with them
tisk tisk....Love spells takes away from free will why would any one wish to have someone love them that really doesnt its just mask and in the long run will only cause heartache
spells or curses only work in the conjuerer fully understands all it's complexities.
My opinion on the subject is that if you want to cast a love spell...refrain from casting on a specific person, rather cast a spell to draw the "one" to you with qualities that you want and need.
Casting a love spell on a certain person is tampering with their free will...and can have devastating results.
Never ever cast any spell, let alone, love spells, without knowing fully what you are doing and having studied.
There is someone out there for everyone...that's what should be focused on. Ask that your special someone comes to you and you know them when you meet them.
yes that is very true ScarletVamp, it is more of the asking of guidence to bring the one to you with out asking for exact specifications. and yes indeed when you meet them you will know that very instant, I know I did.
I think they are more like curses. You never know if the person you use the spell on is really in love with you or just loves you because of the spell. Most have disastrous endings.
Easy answer for the subject.. Love spell= the casting person, love curse= the casted.. which is it? none/both are different points of views..
i think it is a curse on both people the castor because it signifies personal gain and the castee because they are not in use of their own free will which at some point will be realised
I think it is a curse, trying to force someone to love you can only lead to pain and heartache for you both. It is unwise and foolish to cast such a spell.
I personally don't believe in love spells or that they work. How can you make someone love you? You can only make them infatuated. They can be in that euphoric state we call puppy love by pushing them in a certain direction by making them notice you...glamoury. When this wears off if there was never the attraction in the first place, or if they find out what you did...they will be angry and or disinterested. You can create spells if that is your thing for just about anything but it doesn't mean they will work as you want them to. It isn't right in my opinion to try to make someone love you against their will. If anything, cause them to notice you and you don't need a spell for that and let nature take its course, anything else is a waste of time. (IMHO of course)
I think a love spell to enhance a relationship is ok. But to use a spell to force someone to fall in love with you is just asking for trouble as your playing with their free will. So there fore the ramifications from the universe will be rather nasty and I wouldn't want to be standing beside you when the karma hits.
Why would u want to put a spell on someone to love u?
Love shoudl come natural and not be forced
A love spell to me sounds like an attempt out of desperation. Love comes to those that aren't looking for it, it comes as a surprise out of the blue, it hits you in the face when you least expect it. It wouldn't be as great if it was expected. People who use "spells" to harm or to change someone's path isn't using it correctly.
