Hello and good evening... I have a question to everyone that has had dreams or visons. I give a thousand pardons if I offend anyone, but on to the question. Has anyone had dreams/visions of fighting vampires? Even if you are one fighting your own kind. Humans vs. Humans, Vampires vs. Humans, Vampires vs. Vampires? It just bothers me to hear how many would try their best to become one.

that's the funniest thing - i never thought of it before, but i don't believe i have. not vampires. i often dream of zombies, skeletons, giant spiders, orcs, monsters, robots, daleks, CIA agents, muggers, lunatics, ghosts, Giger Aliens, etc - but not vampires. wonder why not.?

Nope, but I did play a game many years ago, where I raised an army against a horde of ferile, fanged blood fiends, in Mexico.

I have had dreams of hunting WITH vampyres before and after my turning. I have never had dreams of fighting against them, nor just fighting a human in general. I've had dreams of fighting werewolves, various beasts, etc, but never vampyres.

never had time to think about this questions. I've had visons of it but I never really thought about it. hmm. I will think about this n get back to ya.

Good question. I've never dreamed of fighting my own kind. Dreams don't come as they used to, long days and short nights make for little time to dream or at least remember them. I don't know what to suggest other than to use the dreams as an extention of your other gifts, and see what they may be telling you.

I've had lots of dreams about fighting demons but never vampires.

I don't think vampires would ever fight with other vampires. I think they're all just too close to have conflict with each other.

Me myself I have not dreamed or had a vision of that. But I know of one person who has. She said it scared her to fight her own kind. I think its because the difference between humans and vampires is that vampires are closer and have the same needs humans, on the otherhand, do not.

I had more dream's of Vampire's when I was much younger, could have been my fascination with Vampire's. I never fought them I was always being chased by them. You would think I would have them now that I'm learning so much about Vampire's and because I spend so much time on VR. lol

I have had a lot of dreams about vampires, none of which I was fighting against. I have fought side by side with.

i had dreamt of fighting vampires before.. they always chase me and at the moment that they'll sink their fangs on my neck, i'll suddenly wake up... but this dreams stopped and i never had it again. i wonder why

Although I have had prophetic dreams I cannot recall any dreams of fighting vampires or people for that matter. I have had some pretty bizzare ones that came to fruition but never any like the ones that you are mentioning.

i used to have dreams of fighting vampires when i was a kid. for the most part they've died down, other than me fighting an old "friend" who is a vampire because of what he did, not because of what he is.

lol I normally have dreams of making love to them. Rarely fighting them.

Had a dream.....Just two three days ago, I am sure I was somewhere else, nothing was my creation, nor have I saw or felt nothing like that before(for the ones that understand astral travel, and for those that not, well keep on sinking), I was sucking blood out of another vampire, something was wrong, violent, all of a sudden a more normal looking(humane looking) vampire emerged(a woman, on a flying horse, all in red, looked like a priestess, , and started to attack me for my acts, our daggers clashed toegheter, and somehow we were stuck, not able to move, the dream ended there, before that I sucked the previous vampire dry.....He was ugly like shit, reminded me on Nosferatu, dressed in black , the red dressed vamp looked like Brujah type, clean face, no beast in it...Before this experience I have found my self to be in the same place/realm, different place, with all kinda horrific pictures to witness, from prisons to prisoners, to a vampire that looked like a vile beast, nothing human alike, looked like an alien more than anything, tryed to bite me, looked like he was weakend with something, he held another humane looking vamp in some dungeon, and this vamp was trying to break the bars, but with no success...All this looked to me like some form of a different plane of existence....Weird shit.....Cant wait to go again.............

I remember one time that I fought against Vampires. But then I woke up and saw that Buffy the Vampire Slayer was on with the volume turned up. Other than that, I have never dreamt about them.

I haven't had those type dreams. My gifts are more along the lines of foreshadowing events that are about to happen. I have enjoyed the posts by others on this thread however.

My dreams about fighting with someone else is normally with me and another human. I'm only a vampire by religion.

i had one dream where i was beeing chased by vampires...... but they never caught me....... and that was long ago when i was in high school and i barely remember the details.......

Hm.. I've never had a dream of fighting vampires really. I've had a dream where I was attacked by a vampire that turned out to be myself, but that's about it.

Why would I be concerned with a "for us or against us" type dream? It's only a dream.

well i remeber dreaming i was fighting vampired to get my little sister back from them.

I have a reaccuring dream that I have fought with vampire for my life.... I was bitten but not changed by that. In this dream I fought and made him bleed, and where he had made me bleed somehow we touched in the same spot during the struggle, and it made me part vampire in the dream. lol. Sometimes dreams are a bit odd huh?

yah i agree fully with that dreams can be a very wierd thing, coming up with so many different dreams its crazy.

I've had dreams and visions, but nothing about vampires. Typically its about things I'm dealing with or someone close to me.

I have had many dreams, my first was of an ancient one who wished to show me secrets. He betrayed me though.
Since I was only a very young child my parents didn't know about the visits in the night. When months later I would wake screaming they didn't want to believe me of course. Fighting Vampires was what I did for him in my dreams, but I was on the wrong side.
In my dreams I have met many like me who are Vampires, who still wage war, I was taught how to fly in my dreams by them as well as to control mainly the direction.

Another dream, I am human, a bit like a twist in the dream really, everyone had sent for me and my human clan to wipe out the threat of these vile creatures, which we never really did. The old one, the wise one, got me though a cut...or something (he didn't bite me) and through me he had hoped to seek his revenge.

He has sent many in my dreams to destroy me, maybe one day Ill find him again, for its been many years since he has shown himself to me.

That is why to be honest iam on this site. I have many questions which need to be asked of this creature if ever I find him.

I am not a Vampire or a Wolf in my real life, and do find it hard to accept when people say that they are...but in my dreams I am many things.

I have never had any dreams of that kind that I am aware of. Of course, you don't always remember all of your dreams, so who knows.

I sometimes find mtself in older times fighting different man and beast.

Quite a few lucid dreamers here I guess and one's with very literal interpretations of their dreams. Maybe day-dreams count.

Funny, but I've dreamed of running away from them! Isn't that the silliest thing?

I have alot of dreams of being in company of friends and all being vampires but never fighting with or against them.

i've drempt of vampires but i have never drempt of fighting them. protecting myself from them yes, but fighting them no.
I've drempt of fighting zombies and werewolves though.

i have never seen this. unless a video of me beating someone who claimed he was a vamp. counts. i whooped that ass.

The only times I can recall fighting a vampire in my dream is if one were trying to harm me, or simply a verbal argument with one. I can't ever remember starting a physical fight.
Honestly the vampires in my dreams are usually something along the lines of a "sire" for me. :P In dream time I'm smart enough to know not to pick fights with bad mo-fos.

Vampires.....no not me.....but I have a friend who was divorced once and he would tell me he always had nightmares about his ex wife bleeding him dry financially I suppose, but he always referred to her as a real blood sucker.

I just had to post that.

My vampire dreams almost always follow a long vamp rpg or a good movie. Guess I just liked it so much I wanted to add my own twists to it. But I was never fighting them, trying to learn more about them usually.

You bring up a good point. Many people will have dreams of fighting or running away from many different horrible creatures from out imagination but very rarely are they vampires. Maybe it is because in all the movies we take in its always these horrible beings trying to wipe out entire towns are human civilization but with vampires you only see a few humans being killed by these creatures and our imagination takes the rest.

Ive never dreamed of fighting my brothers and sisters i have to say Im a kind hearted vamp but when the time arives i will take what i want from who ever it may be....

I have dreamt of vampires fighting vampires before, in a dream which provoked me to start writing my current novel, Redemption. By vampires, I AM referring to the undead kind.

In this, it was regarding one vampires inner struggle to redeem himself for what he believed were trangressions against the natural order of his world; fight against his vampire instincts and resist the Thirst; revive his sundered, forgotten sense of humanity; and become the liberator of the species he was born to hate and prevent Gehai'ina - the vampire apocalypse - (i.e the return of the vampire god Amut-Ra).

This all unfolded from a dream some 4 years ago now, and I am almost finished the novel. The point is, yeah I've dreamed of vampires fighting vampires. And it gave me a sense of hope, because vampires are portrayed pretty monstrously in contrast to the human race (who are for the most part enslaved). In my dream I saw that even the darkest and most nefarious of hearts can come to the realisation that there is something not quite right inside - not because some greater being has made you feel so, but because you yourself recognise sin as the trepass of acting against one's own self.

Yep. A war among vampires in my dreams gave me the inspiration I needed to start writing a story I think will change the world, if only in some small way.

Besides, it is a pretty cool story. =P

Well, I had only had one dream of vampires in my whole life. I was madly in love with a vampire, who took my life and turned me into a vampire. The dream also continued where he taught me how to lurk deep in the shadows. Other than that, I never had any others or even ones on werewolves. *shrugs shoulders*

The only supernatural, if you cn call it that, ive ever dreamt of were the living dead at the end of the world. Trapped in a hospital, we used bombs strapped to mentally challenged and comatose patients to stop the zombies from entering our refuge. It was us gainst them and we used our own kind to fight them. Thats the closest ive ever come to dreaming of the undead. Save for one i dreamt of when he was hovering over me in my bed. I dreamt he came to feed from me. and in the morning, i felt it had been so real i didnt want to wake and ralise it wasnt -smiles-

i have had lots of dreams about fighting and killing. everything from Humans to demons to vampires to angels to dinosaurs and anything else that i failed to mention.

I've never had dreams about killing vampires only zombies. I usually dream about the spirit world and trying to help them cross over, but now I'm on medication my dreams are being clouded over and I cannot decipher them.

No dreams of fighting anyone, let alone vampyres. Used to play a LARP 12 years ago where vamp clans fought but that was role playing. I do not see myself fighting other vamps in any situation.

i don't think i've ever had a dream of fighting a vampire, but i have had dreams of fighting humans. quite a few in fact. well, more fighting for my freedom rather than fighting for the sake of it

Then again this dream originally came after eating pizza with jalapeno peppers and watching The Lost Boys right before bed...so who knows *shrugs* hehe

-Just before reading this thread. A couple of days a go I had a dream relating to this subject. Which is strange because I rarelly ever dream.
-In the dream I was fighting against an army of Vampires. I don't know why. All I know is that I was ripping their heads of with my hands and drinking the blood that flowed from their necks.

i do not dream of fight humans or vampires or anyother creature of the night but i do sometimes dream of having a united front of vampires spreading across the world.... changing those worthy and feeding from those not worthy... and, um... having sex slaves and, um... other things... like people they can hunt and get a kick off off hunting them and killing them brutally when the catch em... but that might just be my disturbing imagination coming out in the dream, lol....

I have had dreams of being a vampire, I have had some wierd dreams of seeing them and being chased by them one was a dark night, I looked into the window at this old medieval looking cottage, and saw some vampires so I ran, I believe the entire dream consisted of being chased into a church with multiple levels. bad ass looking staind pane glass windows but this fucker wouldnt stop chasin me.

I have of late had a similar dream, i am fighting beside our kind, against a female who calls her crusade a purification, i watch our kin die horribly around me and fight for what seems an eternity before falling, as i lay dieing, the female warrior strides towards me and peels back her hood, for me to find it is my ex partner, probably of little help to you, but she used to surpress my true nature, so that is probably why i dream this.

I have with dark forces...but always just thought of them as fantasies.

Well I don't have "visions" but I have dreams, & I have had dreams about genocidal civil wars that ended drastically between the human race, I don't know if it meant anything but it was kind of disturbing...

I had a dream about four years ago... It was very dark and blue black. The moon was high in the sky. I was kinda flying. I could not see myself, but I know I was human... Then a giant shadow appared in front of me, beetwen me and the moon... it was a vampire. It hugged me. And we fly togheter into the nite.
Its not an original dream I guess... But I remember I have talked about it with my therapist... It seems to be, dream of vampires arent positive...

this is very funny for the dreams i just had last night.
i was fighting a coven of vampire haven slayen half the house, i didnt know why i attcked them i just did, well then humans joined like 16 of them with the 8 vampires allready. it was werid cuze i wore a long black cloak and wore leather clothes, but any way they back me on to a cliff. down below was a forzen over lake, they say somethen but i could not hear, and a arrow hits my right side spinning me off the cliff and down in to the forzen water.

as i sink in to the water, that was flipen cold, i could fill something pull me down turning i see a half eaten vampire, man did that hurt when it bit my neck and clawed my sholders. thats when i woke with bit marks on my neck and claws.

i dont know why i fight my own kind, but i just do, its kinda sad when you think about it.hope the dream helps, and i dont all ways fight just vampire its other things to, even had a go with my self once.
