Why wouldn't a vampire have a soul? They have minds, therefore a consciousness. They have energy and movement and a personality of their own do they not? So they have souls...It is impossible for a thing with conscious thought and not have a soul.
And the people who truely believe you can slaughter and say a few hail mary's to get into heaven are about as ignorant of Christian teachings as the arrogant church-goers who prattle on about atheists and 'vampires' going to hell.
I hate to tell the arrogant church-goer's this, but it is in the bible that they are to love all and not judge others lest they BE judged in return. Funny how they miss that sentence so often.
I also hate to tell the people that believe a couple hail mary's forgives all this, but it doesn't always. First, you have to honestly regret the sins. Then, you have to ask to be forgiven for each of them (an apology for the ones you don't recall also works here). Lastly, you have to believe that the slate is wiped clean and go on about your life in a good fashion that doesn't imitate what you asked to be forgiven for. If you make another mistake, you pray to be forgiven and try not to do it again...over and over and over...each time it occurs. However, if you are not trying and don't regret it...Opps. Too bad for you. This is a psychic with empathic abilities. If you know it, he knows it. If you feel it, he feels it. Every thought you have ever had and every feeling you have ever had.
As for the vampires, they each have an individualistic personality and therefore can and are judged accordingly to it. Why wouldn't they be? A vampire is NOT as immortal as believed. There are always deaths in vampire stories. Always...Even if you are not paying attention to it. Determination of who goes to heaven and who goes to hell is based on each individual and whether the good outweighs the bad. If you have asked to be forgiven for a sin you regret and wish to be rid of, it won't add to the debt of either side of the scale, but watch out for the ones you don't regret and the ones you didn't ask to be forgiven for.
And atheists...I know a good many of them. Most haven't been told anything about Christianity and therefore are not judged by the same rules. It is still based on the good outweighing the bad, but the sin of not accepting him falls on the Christians who crossed this person's path and didn't even bother to try to discuss it with the atheist if the atheist was curious.
Christianity is not to be forced on people who don't want to hear it, but you can offer if they want to know. It isn't the fault of the religion that some overzealous arrogant pricks tend to piss people off at churches and therefore the God they are supposed to be representing. God also told them 'to be humble in his works'. Pride is a sin. Hipocracy is in my eyes the worst sin of all, because it makes non believers hate Christians. How is that in accordance to the Bible's teachings?
Personally, I have read the passages that state clearly that God loved Lucifer ABOVE ALL OTHERS, but was forced for his own sake to punish him. That doesn't mean he stopped loving him, ya'll. It broke his heart to hurt someone he loved. I imagine it still does to this very day that there is a rift between them. How would you feel if you loved someone more than any other in the universe and were not able to agree and sit with them without arguing until you couldn't be near them any longer? If it was your lover, your child, your best friend, or a sibling...
Gays are not bad people just because they are gay. Atheist are not bad people just because they have not learned that they are loved despite their disbelief. It was pointed out to me the other day that even an atheist had faith...They go to the doctor believing this person can help. They take medications believing they will cure. They drive believing they will get to where they are going. So if they have faith in the things they do each day, why is it unbelievable that they could someday have faith in other things...still unseen?
